Josette blinked and and refocused her gaze.

"Long story short, one of the sisters decided to get rid of her baby and now, she feels…empty and hurt…a-and hollow" Josette wiped the tears on her face..

"She got an abortion" I murmured

"Yes" she said with a straight face "And now, she can't get herself to stand up and leave. B-because she…she is waiting" she sniffed back and exhaled again.

Soon, she was calm and I longed to comfort her because I knew the story she told wasn't a fake one. It was the story of her life.

I was about to say something comforting or at least I hoped it was something comforting when the door opened and a young girl came out holding a box.

"Hey" the young girl in a doctor's coat said 

"Hey, Dr Honey. Is that for me?" Josette asked 

"Yeah. You know you don't have to do this. I can take care of it" Dr Honey told her.
