Chapter 8

Ivan pulled up to the diner in the early hours of the lunch hour and he walked in and he found Allison working quickly and quietly then.

"Allison. It's time to go", Ivan replies.

Allison looks up and she smiles before heading to the back and changes her clothes before she came back out with her bags here.

"I'm ready", she says.

Ivan smiles before walking out behind her.

𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨?

Allison had her first prenatal appointment today.

"So it looks like the baby is healthy", the doctor says.

"How many weeks is she?" Ivan asks.

"11 ½ weeks", the doctor replies.

Ivan looked at Allison then and he smiled like he never has before. He was happy to learn that his baby was healthy in these time there.

That was the greatest news he could ever get.
