7 Chapter 7

A month has passed since the incident with Rome and Ray secretly tried to find out who did that to his precious friend however he was found out by Rome who gave a long sigh and requested him to drop the matter.

Ray and Rome was sitting in their classroom, Ray was busy talking or you can say flirting with his girlfriend, Rome on the other hand was busy in his own world, trying to distract himself from the couple infront of him.

Rome smiled when their homeroom teacher, Miss Manry entered. She smiled and greeted them gently as always,"Good morning students."

All the students quieted down and looked at her,"Good morining Miss Manry."

Manry smiled softly ,"Students we have a new transfer student. Tony come in." A guy walked in the classroom making some girls squeal.

Tony, the new transfer student had blond straight hair tied in a small ponytail. He had same height as Ray did, the school white shirt sticking to his body, outlined his abs, he was not buff type of guy but had nice built body and top of that a charming smile.

Tony lifted his hand and waved it a bit,"Hi I am Tony Lee and I look forward to getting along with you guys."

The girls squealed once again.

"He is so HOT"

"Will he date me?"

"So handsome."

"Now we have two handsome guys, Tony and Ray."

"That's right. We are blessed by heaven."

Manry chuckled and said,"Silence kids. Tony you can go and sit with Rome at the last bench of second row, and Rome?" Rome looked up,"Yes Ma'am?" Miss Manry patted on Tony's shoulder,"Please help Tony catch up, he had missed one month of study." Rome smiled at Tony,"Yes ma'am I will help him."

Manry said,"Thankyou. Since your first lecture is self study, you guys can talk and Rome you can take that time to explain." Rome just nodded as tony came and sat besides him.

Tony flashed a smile and held his hand forward,"Hi. I am Tony." Rome took Tony's hand,"Rome. Rome Millers."

Ray turned behind and looked at Tony,"Hi Tony, I am Ray, Ray White. I am Rome's bestfriend." Tony shook Ray's hand,"Nice to meet you."

Lacy who was sitting besides Ray turned around and looked at Tony,"I am Lacy Ravens. I am Ray's girlfriend."

Tony from the corner of his eye saw a small frown on Rome's forehead that vanished as soon as it appeared. Seeing that, Tony didn't say anything to Lacy and just gave her a simple nod.

Ray twirled his fingers in lacy's hair and Lacy pecked his lips, they both got busy in their own world.

Tony looked at Rome who had hint of saddness in his eyes, he leaned in and whispered,"Rome are you alright?" Rome flinched,"Yes I am, thanks for caring though." Tony pouted,"No need to be formal. We are friends right?" Rome nodded and smiled,"Yes friends."

Tony and Rome talked about various things, their likes and dislikes, their hobbies, dreams and during the lectures Rome explained few things to Tony so he can understand what the teachers were saying.

There was ringing sound and it was already break time, In just a few hours Tony and Rome had gotten close, and they both were happy to gain an amazing friend.

Ray looked at his bestfriend who was giggling over something the new guy said, he tapped on the desk, gaining their attention,"Rome let's go to canteen, I am hungry." Rome smiled and got up,"Tony you can join too." Tony was feeling hesitant,"Are you sure?" Before Rome could reply, Lacy grabbed his hand,"Of course you can join us. Come on~~"

Tony shaked Lacy's hand off and looked at Rome who smiled,"Okay I am coming with you guys."

They all walked towards the Canteen, Ray and Lacy walked in front while Rome and tony followed them behind.

Tony wanted to ask something but didn't know whether he should ask it or not, Rome glanced at him,"You can ask whatever you want, I will answer if I can." Tony hummed and asked in a low voice,"Is something wrong between you and Lacy? I am aksing because I felt something odd."

Rome stopped in his track and stared at a Tony,"Even you noticed." Tony raised his brows and Rome continued,"I don't know why but Lacy has not been particularly nice to me. She started dating Ray when we were in middle school, at first she was nice and all but later she completely changed and yeah she was very unfriendly, when she is infront of Ray she would ignore me or keep the talk to bare minimum but behind his back she would verbally harass me."

Tony frowned,"Then why did you not tell Ray about this? From what I see he cares about you."

Rome sighed,"Right, he cares about me but he loves Lacy. You saw how they behave...."

Rome was interrupted when Ray called out,"What are you two doing? Come on~" Rome gave a weak smile,"Coming!" They both started walking again and tony said with all seriousness,"I am here now, you can count on me if something or someone bothers you. I am your friend after all and I care for all my friends."

Rome smiled sincerely as they walked into the canteen.

All four of them found a place to sit after getting their lunch tray. Rome sat down and Tony quickly sat besides him, Ray saw this and a small crease formed on his forehead, the place besides Rome was always his but now Tony was sitting in his seat. Ray reluctantly sat infront of Rome and besides Lacy.

Ray said,"Tony you know what, you sat on 'my' seat." Tony raised his brows,"What do you mean?" Ray controlled the urge to snarl,"I always sit besides Rome while eating." Tony said,"Sorry. I didn't know that."

Lacy clenched her fist under the table, Ray was going to say something but Lacy interrupted,"But baby isn't it nice you and I are sitting side by side?"

Tony ignored her and asked,"Ray if you want I can get up and you sit with Rome~"

Rome said,"No it's alright Tony, we can sit together. Anyway we can give this lovebird their quality time and we can get closer."

Tony smiled brightly and placed his hand on Rome's that was on table,"Yeah in this way we can become more close."

Ray was getting annoyed looking at Tony and Rome's hands, he said,"Rome you should eat more and Tony you should let go of his hand or else he won't eat."

Tony pulled his hand back,"Oh sorry. Rome eat more."

Lacy felt the anger growing in her yet she smiled beautifully,"I think Rome has become a princess, being cared by two handsome guys."

Rome bit his lower lips, he knew it was not a joke andd she was getting angry so he said,"No Lacy you are a princess that has such a handsome prince like boyfriend."

lacy chuckled,"I sure am." Ray said smugly, "I know I am very handsome.

Tony pouted and said jokingly,"And I am not handsome."

Every laughed and Rome patted Tony's shoulder, "You are very handsome Tony, no kidding."

Tony placed his hand on Rome's shoulder,"And you are very sweet , kind and cute."

Ray nodded,"I totally agree. And Lacy do you?"

Lacy reluctantly nodded. Rome, Rome, Rome all the time that Rome gets Ray's attention. I hate him to guts.
