1 chapter 1: school or weapons can be another title
In a school named amerity on the continent named Eloa. Eight people were outside a school waiting.
"Hey man you can't wait to get your weapon (companion)?" someone asked as they came up to someone else
"Why?" he asked back
"Because right after we do we can get missions," he said. "And by the way, what is your name?"
"It's Duncan and you?" Duncan asked
"It's James Werner." James said
"Ready to begin!" a woman's voice said over the intercom
Everybody yelled but Duncan.
"Alright bring them out." the principal said
People came out (one looked like a kid) and all of them stood there for a minute then changed into their weapon forms.
"Alright the first one to choose is Duncan." the principal said
He started walking up there then noticed twin swords he came over and picked them up.
"I will take these" Duncan said
"Are you sure?" she asked
"Yes." Duncan said
"Alright then." the principal said. "I hereby give you, your contract, it's name is Yuki." (they also gave them their room number is room 7)
"Thank you." Duncan said as he started walking off
"Next is James." the principal said
"Alright man see you later." James said as he passed by Duncan
"Alright, then I'll see you then." Duncan said
Duncan walked off and started walking to one of the dorms (there are two different dorms one for girls and one for boys. Duncan is holding his swords because he doesn't have anything to hold them in).
"Is this it?" Duncan asked as he walked to the girls' dorm (room #7)
He went in there and went to the room and closed the door.
"Don't you move." a girls voice said as she held a gun at him
"Why?" Duncan asked
"Do you know what dorm this is?" she asked
"Boys dorm?" Duncan asked
"No this is the girls' dorm." she said
"What do you mean?" Duncan asked
"Boys dorm is on the other side and by the way are you new here?" she asked
"Yes, and really." Duncan said as he turned around
"Wateru can you help this man." she said
"Yes." Wateru said
"I'm not just 'man'. I'm Duncan." Duncan said
"Alright Duncan Wateru will take you out of here and by the way, I'm a third-year and I can report you." she said
"Alright, thanks for the heads up." Duncan said as he followed Wateru out
They both left the building and someone (girl) was walking down the hallway after they left.
"Arana you didn't need to do that, you just needed to report him." she said as she came over
"So you were listening to Yuna?" Arana asked
"Just passing by and heard it." Yuna said
Wateru took Duncan to his dorm.
"Now go and find your room." Wateru said as she disappeared
"Um, thanks." Duncan said as he went in and found his room
He went to his room number and opened the door.
"Hey man I went to go and find you but I couldn't. Where were you?" James asked
"Went to the wrong dorm and why are there three beds (one is a bunk bed) in here?" Duncan asked
"For me and you and whoever your weapon is, and you went to the girls' dorm! How did it feel to go to a girls' territory?" James asked
"Bad, nothing like having a gun pointed at your head and I thought companions didn't need sleep?" Duncan asked
"They don't but you need to get your companion out of that form." James said
"I will eventually, but where is yours?" Duncan asked
"Girls dorm and are guns." James said
"So they were girls?" Duncan asked
"Yes both of them." James said
"So we are staying in the same room?" Duncan asked
"Yup." James said
"She said that the contract name was Yuki right so let's get it out of that form. Yuki!" Duncan yelled but nothing happened. "Hey, James, how did you get your companions out of their forms?"
"I did what you did." James said
"We might need to see what's happening tomorrow." Duncan said
Several hours later it was night.
"Duncan, why do you keep trying?" James asked
"Forget it let's just get some sleep." Duncan said as he turned off the lights and went to bed
Duncan dreamt there was someone dragging someone else like they were a prisoner he was knocked out because of exhaustion. (*** means can't remember which is for Duncan)
"Mom, what's going to happen to ****?" Younger Duncan asked
"Don't worry, everything is going to be alright." she said
"Hey Duncan, time to wake up we're going to get your companion checked out remember." James said as he shook him
"Alright." Duncan said as he got up
They left the room and walked to school.
"Now to find the nurse." James said. "Duncan are you alright?"
There was no answer.
"Duncan?" James said as he turned around and noticed he was on the ground. "Duncan!"
He came over to him and picked him up (one shoulder) and picked up his swords, and eventually got to the nurse.
"Hey is anyone here?" James asked as he came in
"Yes, what is it?" a woman asked as she came in there
"Well my friend hasn't been able to get his companion out of its weapon form and this happened to him." James said
"Well place him on the bed and give me his weapon, it's the first day and someone is already here." she said
James put him down and gave her his weapon.
"Well it shouldn't take too long." she said
"Thank you." James said
"Now where is its symbol." She said as she started looking around the swords
"What are you looking for?" James asked as he came over
"His contract symbol." she said
They started looking all over and found at the bottom of the handle.
"Found it." she said as she touched it (this is the symbol 雪) and said something
It changed into a kid (he was passed out).
"This is his companion?" James asked
"Yes, he should be fine now." she said
"I thought companions don't sleep?" James asked
"They're not supposed to." she said
Duncan woke up a bit later. (it is night)
"Hey, man we got your weapon to change." James said as he looked at him
"That's good but what about school?" Duncan asked
"She explained to them what happened, so they will get us caught up tonight." James said
"Alright if you say so." Duncan said as he got up. "So where is my weapon?"
"Over there." James said as he pointed behind him
He walked over to him.
"Why is he a kid?" Duncan asked
"Don't know." the nurse said as she came over
The kid woke up. "The boy! The mom! What happened to them!" he yelled
"Hey calm down." Duncan said
"James you can go." the nurse said
"Alright." James said. "Hey, Duncan I will be training with the teacher."
"Alright." Duncan said
James left.
"Hey what's your name? Mine is Duncan." Duncan asked
"It's Denzil." Denzil said
"Alright see if your form works." the nurse said
"Ok. Yuki." Duncan said
Denzil changed to his twin-blade form which this time he had a sword holder.
"I added that for you." the nurse said. "Now get going."
"Thank you." Duncan said as he ran out
"That's strange, it's like they are the same person." the nurse said. "Oh no I forgot to tell him something."
Duncan came outside.
"Hey man, you made it." James said as he came over to him
"Alright boys you ready?" the teacher asked as she came over
"Yes we are." they both said
"I'm going to do the same thing as I did with the other students. So are you ready?" she asked
"Let's do this." James said as he held up his guns
They started to train with the teacher. Later they were just exhausted from training.
"Duncan are you ok?" Denzil asked as he changed out of his weapon form
James's guns also changed.
"Oh, by the way, this is Mili and Clara." James said
"Hi, there ladies." Duncan said
"Hello, he seems better than he does." Mili said as she pointed to James
"Why couldn't we." Clara said
"Hey, I'm right here." James said
"Hey can't do that I'm his weapon." Denzil said
"Alright you two, teams will be decided tomorrow and I know where to stick you." the teacher said
"Thank you." they all said as they parted ways
They all went back to their rooms. They went into their rooms, and they sat down on their beds and Denzil sat with Duncan.
"Hey Duncan you can't wait to find out our teams can you?" James asked
"Well, sort of why?" Duncan asked
"We might have a girl on our team." James said
"What is your fascination with girls?" Duncan asked
"Oh nothing," James said
"Well might as well get some sleep." Duncan said
"Well, I think your companion beat us to it." James said
Duncan looked over and saw him sleeping. "By the way his name is Denzil."
"Well might as well get some sleep." James said as he laid down on his bed
"I guess I'm sleeping on top." Duncan said as he curled up after he turned off the light (he laid Denzil down)
