24 Revelations and Into The Depths

The last chapter was heavily criticized. I read all the comments and honestly, I kinda don't care. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy it as well as you did the last chapters. But there's 0 chances of me rewriting that chapter because of its importance to the story. Thanks for the Criticism by the way. It shed light on many mistakes I've been making. so BRING IT ON. BRING ON THE HATE/HELPFUL COMMENTS, That's how I know people are reading my stuff.

As always my Pat.reon 10 chapters ahead. Pat.reon.com/Saintbarbido.

(Jin's P.O.V)

Bettes body fell upon my hands before it could hit the ground. Blood was pouring down her neck as she choked. Before I could stop the bleeding with my blood control, she lost the light in her eyes.

"How…how did you break the cuffs."

Blackout stammered.  I didn't answer him. Instead I decided to break him.

"Blackout you fucking idiot. The one who put you up to this is also the one responsible for the death of your friends."

Clang! He fell down to the ground and started shaking his head.

"No. You're wrong. That wasn't...Wells...It was someone else... You're lying!"

Bettes body began to glow. Time being of the essence, I needed to get her out of range of my house and the passed out soldiers around the premises. But first....

"You will never get to find out if I was talking the truth or not."

Blackout's eyes widened and he begun to bulk up. I mentally connected with the water in his body and pulled.

His body instantly became shrunken like a dried husk. He lost the symbiotic features and started wheezing. The water above us turned to sharp blades of ice at my command and Blackout was swallowed by the resulting tornado formed by yours truly. He was shredded into little pieces left drifting in the air but I didn't stick around for more. To me, it was good riddance to an annoyance. Deep within I regretted not studying him to find out about his powers and find a way to replicate them but I knew my priorities.

I blurred out of my property heading for where the largest body of water was. Having Percy's powers, the ocean was like a beacon constantly calling out to me. I still felt the need to venture deep into it's depths to find out what exactly called out to me but before I did all that, I still needed to get rid of Thawne once and for all. I was now overwhelmingly stronger than him. Although I was sure that he currently had me beat in speed. My other powers more than made up for the difference. I could just twist his body into a pretzel through blood control.

I increased my speed and hit roughly mach 2. My speed was completely different from the other speedsters but my power was intrinsic enough to extend some friction negation to my form and what I was carrying. This is mostly based on the fact that I had been running in track pants and they were still more or less in good condition. Bette's body was still dangerously glowing but I had finally reached the shore line. I knew I was fast enough to run on water so I gritted my teeth and pushed with everything in me to go even faster.

My first step into the ocean is where things started to go wrong. I felt the lightning on my body get sapped suddenly and almost lost my balance. My eyes widened and my mouth opened in a bit of surprise. What was happening? Why was I losing my speed. Before I could take the next step. I pulled from above and streaks of lightning impacted my body giving me the energy to sustain my speed. But each step I took bled energy from me more and more yet strengthening my body and hydrokinesis.

Bettes body was really close to blowing up and I still wasn't that far from the shore line. A tsunami close to the beach would impact some of the buildings and although I wasn't a goody too shoes I wanted to see this through to the end.

"Damnit!"

A shockwave blasted from my back, at full intensity adding to my momentum. The air also carried me and 50 miles away from central city, I dived into the sea. I watched Bettes body sink into the ocean and commanded the water to push me away from the explosion towards the city's land mass. A bubble of water formed around me as I prepared to head back.

Then I paused. The calling from before intensified and I felt that if I left now it would be bad for me. That second spent in indecision was enough for an explosion to hit the water and disorient me. I instantly formed a cosmic water bubble around me but the impact from Bettes explosive yield was magnitudes more than before. Earlier on she couldn't hurt me but this time I definitely felt it. The hastily set up cosmic water bubble was sent with me in it, careening towards the ocean floor.

I lost my consciousness soon after.

Star labs

2 days later

(General P.O.V)

"I don't need to tell you just how dangerous Jin Anderson now is, Caitlin. Not to mention, I don't like the fact that you sent Mr.Allen to confront him without my knowledge."

Dr.Wells gently but firmly told the genius scientist. The whole team including Barry were gathered at the main console room of the lab. The whole mood was quiet and somber. Dr.Wells continued,

"The army conducted an operation to take him down following reliable Intel."

Cisco perked up in curiosity at that.

"Why? Were they going after him in the first place?"

"His risk factor was deemed too high for the normal police department to handle so they were called in. It's not standard operating procedures but that was the authority's decision."

Cisco nodded and an hesitant look crossed his face.

"How do you know all this Dr.Wells?"

"I'm the one who gave them the reliable Intel on how to find Mr Anderson."

His tone was laced with guilt and shame. Caitlin brought a hand to cover her mouth in disbelief.

"Why! I could have talked to him! Convinced him to turn himself in Dr. Wells!"

"I'm sorry Caitlin. I couldn't take the chance. He could have hurt you or any of us. No one knows how he would have reacted to confrontation."

Caitlin shook her head unconvinced.

"Barry could have..."

"He's stronger than me Cait. Much stronger.  With his new speedster powers, fighting him is suicide."

"No, I know him. He wouldn't have done all that without a reason..."

Cisco clenched his jaw.

"Damnit Caitlin. Open your eyes... you're defending someone who's responsible for the death of 20 soldiers."

Caitlin drew back as if she had been slapped.

"What?"

Dr.Wells removed his glasses and rubbed his eyes.

"Yes... Cisco's right. Of the team sent to apprehend him...none of them survived."

Caitlin couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe any of the words escaping her teammate's mouths.

"I...I need to go..."

"Wait... Caitlin... I'll go talk to her."

Cisco informed the others while chasing after their resident doctor.

After they left, silence ensued between the two remaining men.

"Dr. Wells, how did you know that Jin was Drakon?"

Wells shrugged.

"I picked up on some suspicious signs and decided to investigate further."

Barry nodded but he was still not satisfied with the answer. He decided to keep that to himself however.

"Drakon is fast becoming an insurmountable obstacle for you Mr.Allen. I'm sure you know that next time he shows up we need to be ready for him. You need to get faster. Much much faster if you'll have any hope of defeating him."

"Don't worry Dr.Wells, next time I'll be ready."

(Morpheus P.O.V)

Things were finally going according to plan. The plan to take back everything that had been stolen from him. Everything that had been denied to him. The Olympians would pay. He would make sure of that. After all Morpheus was sure that he would soon have the strongest champion in the mortal world. Everything would work out as long as Jin didn't achieve a divine realm. And it had taken Morpheus and his ally everything in their power to make sure that he didn't become aware of his full potential.

A potential that would eclipse any other demigod, legacy or champion because of just how potent it was. He didn't kid himself thinking that keeping him powerful yet still mortal would be easy. Which is why he hadn't gotten rid of his avatar...Alfred. Morpheus laughed a little to himself...the Avatar had managed to ingraine itself into Jin's life and using that Morpheus would ensure that he could control the young demigod.

To clarify, Morpheus had indeed been imprisoned in the in-between. His chains had luckily been eroded with time but staying in the void for so long had had some detrimental effects. Cut off from his domain, Morpheus had lost his memories and started fading. And then like a birthday present a shining ball of light had appeared near him heading to destinations unknown.

So Morpheus, nothing but a blank being by then had jumped at his only hope for survival. Time being inconsequential in the void... Morpheus had managed to link himself to the soul encased by the ball of light. After accessing the soul's dreams, Morpheus had managed to get enough power to form an autonomous program that would ensure his revival in the future while he went into stasis to gather his scattered bits of being together.

Who would have thought that the program would develop an ego. The result was that Alfred came into being. Alfred also became partial to Jin and started caring about him as a son. Only after the Monitor had contacted Alfred had Morpheus due to the unique energy exhibited by such a being gradually woken up. It wouldn't have taken as long if Alfred hadn't been subconsciously suppressing him.

But no matter what Alfred's motives were, he was still a part of Morpheus so he couldn't harm him directly if he wanted. Having access to his dream domain, Morpheus' powers had returned and he also managed to contact one of his earlier allies after leaving the mortal world. He still didn't have access to the sky lands, the divine realm. And that restricted him from amassing an army and storming the place. The option left was to use a champion instead.

And Jin had been the prime candidate for that position. Morpheus spared a moment to frown. Everything had happened seemingly by chance. Which meant some higher power was responsible. It was probably the fates but Morpheus didn't really care. As long as he saw Zeus begging on the ground under his foot, he would be satisfied playing the long game.

But then a minor setback in the form of Jin possessing another demi - divinity had almost brought everything crashing down. Morpheus at that point had been surprised and ordered his ally to divine about the boy. The results brought in had been surprising. The body that Logan had occupied was a quarter divine. Meaning one of it's parents had been a demigod.

So they had had to do some binding to ensure that his other demigod self was completely suppressed. Two divinities from 2 different pantheons fusing into one would birth a being with power equivalent to a Sky father. No one wanted another Zeus or Odin. Least of all Morpheus.

He would have to ensure that Jin didn't stray from his path of development. If only his Avatar shared the same opinion. Morpheus turned his attention to an Alfred who was bound by glowing chains.

"We need to talk Alfred."
