10 The Plot

Rodolfo said, you wanted to talk to me!, I bolted out when I found Leonardo standing in front of the waterfall in the middle of the villa, checking out the fishes swimming around the water. I can see them in bright orange colors and they are so cute. Well, looking at the handsome fellow before my eyes, no one is more cuter than the look alike of Leopold. Hmm! they are scarily look very much the same and I could mistake him as Leopold. So they’re maybe twins, or so when Tessa revealed to me that they are indeed blood related.

Yes, I heard about the engagement, congratulations!, Leonardo suddenly turned around and faced me. He asked me to join him to sit on the side benches of the water fall. Hey!, I’m not mad nor sad, but it’s just that I thought we’re the ones to hit it not you and Leopold. But well, he was 5 seconds to first come out of our mother’s womb, so it is just right that he marries you than me, who is an adventurer and lovesick fellow of the wild. Hehe!, Leonardo added bumping his shoulder with mine the smiling his sweetest smile. I could die right now looking at is adorable face. He is a romantic but pretty rough on the edges yet he is a wonderful person that I can fall in love with after all.

I know, mom told me and then Tessa gave me heads up on what I needed to do and what I am asked to sacrifice out of this marriage. But I am not regretting knowing you and Leopold, I love you both and ever since I was small, I swore on my dad’s grave that I will help uphold the truth and restore the royal bloodline if it requires me to give myself out of my adoration to the Montfort kingdom and my Grandfather Cronan. Dad Maxim was indeed a beautiful being that my mom fell in love with him even if he isn’t in line for the throne. However, he was destined to get the crown but yes, stopped the coronation and killed by we all still don’t know who. That is what we all wanted to discover, the culprit who killed dad and the reason for all the chaos that happened in the castle and the royal family, I blurted out of nowhere, maybe I just wanted to disclose my innermost feelings to Leonardo, who is like someone I can trust and a confidant. Maybe soul mate I have been searching for for forever.

Thanks for your honesty and I really appreciate you trusting me with how you feel about your marriage to my twin, Hmm! how I wish I was the one who you’ll marry but I can see that you are happy knowing that you are to marry Leopold, he added smiling at me while looking through my eyes.

How can you say that I am, happy!, I asked looking back at him with a smirk.

By looking at your eyes, they glow and you seem different, calm, more sweet and open. Before you were always reserved and sad, grumpy and mad. Haha! But maybe my brother has a good influence on you, unlike me, I’ll make you a savage, haha!, Leonardo said jokingly but in sweet honesty.

Well, I will not contest but will only say that, you are the most wonderful person I trust and I will be confiding how I feel from now on, cause I believe deep inside that savage is a good person and a heart full of love and concern, especially to your brother Leopold. With that, I love you already as my true brother in law, I said smiling at Leonardo and hugging him tight, then kissed his cheek as a sign of my acceptance of his care for me as his sister.

Hmm!, he replied with a wide smile and a nod of recognition. He excused himself after our little talk. I wasn’t aware that another person was watching us and our every move. Was it?? No, I don’t think so…but…Louis Leopold, is that you? I asked while suspiciously checking out a man’s figure behind the bushes and trees in front of the villa. Leopold came out and was sort of feeling ashamed he was caught now since he was the one checking Em out in her private room at the castle ever since she came to Tunisia to head the team in renovating the castle.

Yup, it’s me. I apologise for intruding, what are you talking about, I mean you and my brother? He asked shyly.

Haa! Well it’s about many things, mostly about the engagement, our engagement. He turned out to be a sweet guy and accepted that I am yours and yours alone, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish forever…, I added while moving closer to Leopold and he suddenly understood my drift and held me on the waist, pulling me close to his chest and kissed me on the lips.

Ohh! So Louis is aggressive today huh!, I said teasing him a bit whether he’ll give in to what I really wanted, him to touch me and make love to me. But…Yes, I am but just to give you a kiss and hug you tight cause I missed youo after last night, I wasn’t able to sleep and was so restless not seeing or talking to you, Leopold said caressing my cheek and then he rested his face on my shoulder which he then overdid kissing me on the neck and biting it a bit. Then sliding his hands on my back taking off my tucked shirt and held my bottom squeezing them tight while pressing my waist towards him. Now he lips kissed my chin then lips. While I stood there with him speechless and closing my eyes feeling his touch and kisses exposing my desires and waking up the feeling of wanting him just like that night in the dining room. Lou..is! we’re outside the villa, what if???, I softly said with a moan, since Ia m not getting weak from his touch. He then moved his mouth to my chest and lost his hand from my bottom and unbuttoned my shirt and caressed my left breast softly, gently, until I almost burst into flame. But he stopped and carried me to a barn, it isn’t old but well kept and clean. There are no animals inside for I believe Rodolfo and another house help named Ricardo feed and walk the horses in the mornings. Louis Leopold placed me on a bunch of hay like it’s a soft bed and kissed me on the lips with a valid intention. He then held my cheek and kissed my mouth his tongue now exploring it, then unbuttoned my shirt totally exposing my bra and bosoms. He tried to unbutton my pants but he was having a hard time so I helped him to do it. I also took off his white tee shirt and shorts. We were both laughing like children shushing and trying to keep quiet so that the adults wouldn’t we’re both gone and whatever.

Are you sure? Louis asked and I nodded. We kissed and fire started to burn inside our guts. I felt Louis’ body it’s so hot and I too begin to sweat . He kept the touch so gentle and vivid I could almost feel him inside me already, but not quite. I kissed him back and bit his shoulder and gripped his back, my nails almost scratching him for I am now in heat and wanting more, for him to go deeper and harder inside me. After fixing himself up he turned to me and got my shirt and pants and clothed me back, he wasn’t able to put my bra so I said not to bother and I’ll just wear my shirt braless, what’s the use of the bra anyway from his touch. He laughed back and when we are already clothed, he carried me happily outside of the barn. We didn’t know that Rodolfo was outside waiting for the horses needed to be fed and tended that time. Louis and I just looked at each other and laughed again without any idea whether Ricardo or Rodolfo knew what happened between us in the horse pen. Ricardo was just scratching his head and Rodolfo smiling sneakily while advising the house help to take care of the horses. He knew what already happened and he was glad he tended the horses that morning. Huuuh, kids!!!, Rodolfo added smirking.

Hahahahaah! Louis and I were laughing hard while running away from the crime or sex scene, hehe! Hhaaa…Let’s eat, I’m sure you’re very hungry, do you like some ice cream or ??? Louis asked while holding my hands and gasping for air since we ran from the stables to the villa and it’s about 50 feet away. Haha, okay, yes I’m super famished, I added touching my stomach. Wait, we have a min store here like a 7/11 store. I’ll go get the my motorbike and let’s drive to there, it’ll just take a few minutes anyway so we’ll be able to get back in time for dinner, you know Tessa she’ll make our lives a living hell if we won’t be able to taste her cooking, heeh! Louis said running to get his bike at the back of the villa. Okay, no problem, I’ll wait here for you, I replied sweetly. When Louis had gone, I smiled devilishly. Now, I can control you Louis Leopold, within my hands I will manipulate you and your family to agree to this marriage and continue the legacy of the Pio Family alongside Montfort. Grandma Gisel has the right to have the crown and I will have that crown, ha, ha, ha, ha, hahahahaah!, Em laughed like a crazy person but suddenly stopped and smiled in front of the innocent Louis not having any clue of Maria’s plan for him and his family. Louis came with the motorbike, hop in and let’s ride!

Okay, gotcha!, Mwah!, Em said kissing Louis first on the cheek the went riding at the back of the bike wearing the helmet Louis handed her. They rode all throughout the streets near the villa and appreciated the forests and flowers surrounding it. Near the store there is gasoline station where a man is standing in front of his car while putting gas on the vehicle yet strangely moving his eyes towards the couple riding the bike. He seemed peeping and scouting for anyone and when nobody’s there, since the store clerk is inside. There’s no one outside on the lookout.

I think Rodolfo will kill me not telling him where were off to, cause you know he said we need to be careful and…, Louis said but got a shock when he heard a gunshot and nearly got him since he was near the register when it happened, the shot came across the window of the store and hit the cashiers register that alerted the clerk and touched the red button for emergency below the register.

Bannnnng! Bang, bang bang!!! Four shots that went on to the register, the candy canes beside it and almost reaching the clerk who ducked before the third shot was fired. Then the fourth, Louis ran to Em and covered her down the floor. Louis stood up when he was sure Em is okay and ran after the guy. But the shooter rushed out using his car blasting away within 15 minutes tops, he’s like gone that fast, a professional indeed. Em got scared, though she knew someone was about to plot a kill and the target is Louis Leopold. She didn’t imagine she will be targeted too, I’ll kill him, she said in her thought.

Are you okay Em? Louis asked worried when he went back from running to get a look who the shooter was. I wasn’t able to get a good look of the shooter but we’ll let Rodolfo and Victoria deal with him, soon. Sorry about that Clerk, here is additional fee for the window and register, hope that pays for everything, Louis said looking at the clerk and the smiled when he nodded it’s fine though still in a shock, The police didn’t come long after Louis and I have gone back to the villa. Louis was furious and wanted to kill the culprit, when I heard him and Rodolfo talking on the study room. Mom was beside Louis who is checking if he was hurt. We will check on that incident and what the hell you two doing at the store, when we advised you not to go out without a chaperon?, Victoria asked angrily then grabbing Louis by the collar of his shirt. And you dragged my daughter out there to die, you prick….you!

Stop Torey!, we still don’t know who did this and I hope it’s not one of ours, Rodolfo, said coolly, while my mom loosened his grip on Louis. I was watching at the play happily, when nobody knows who plotted it, However, even if I have an idea, I still don’t know who the guy was and why would he shoot me too. That Cronan Jr. my half-brother will be toast when I see him, hmpp!!!

Mom, I’m okay, don’t worry, Louis and I just wanted to get ice cream and well we didn’t know things would turn out badly, I said calmly though being tortured by my mother with what is and what nots game. Yes, I know and you well know that you and Louis should’ve advised us so we could’ve escorted you there, besides we have ice cream at the fridge. And where were you this morning, I never knew you woke up earlier than 8 a.m.? haha!, Victoria said in curiosity and hinting that she was with Louis Leopold the whole morning doing, God knows what. But the heck.

Okay, mom, cool down, we were just walking and appreciating the beauty of the horses in the stables and all, that’s what!, I added backing from my mom and curling my hair like I wasn’t lying about what happened this morning. Shut your holes Em, I know what happened, I’m your mom, I even know what you’re thinking before you do it, Rodolfo said you and Louis were inside the horses’ pen when he and Ricardo arrived tending to the animals. So what where you two doing then??? Victoria insisted on knowing everything that happened that morning.

Mom, I think it’s none of your business, now, do we? I will be the future queen of the kingdom and I don’t think you need to know everything I do or did with Louis, who will be my soon husband, I added talking back to my mom which was the first time I did and it felt great, however it hurt her bad and worried that this marriage would end up the same when Grandma Gisel almost married a Montfort to get the throne.

Victoria kept silent and thought of how Gisel also said the same thing before when she was about to marry Maxim. Gisel was supposed to get married to Cronan, Maxim’s dad so that she’ll become a Montfort by law. But Crono’s, the king stopped and ordered for Gisel to be imprisoned for the treason of blaming her of the recent murder plots that has been happening in the kingdom during those times. I was old enough to know that Gisel didn’t do it, she loved Cronan. Yet I think the truth about the story is even though Crono’s was married he still wanted Gisel for himself . I knew about this scandal when he tried to rape Lady Gisel in her room when his allegedly wife Lady Beatrice, Gisel’s keeper, found out and tried to put a curse on the royal family line. Gisel was very young then at 18 and Lady Beatrice tried to kill her with her powers but Crono’s clocked the fiery force to hurt Gisel and killed the King. Lady Beatrice became the Queen. She was the half-sister of Crono’s and Cronan by law. She really planned to get to the point where she could control he two brothers and the crown be handed to her not by force but by marriage. However, Gisel got pregnant from Crono’s infidelity and forced love affair. It’s not just one but thrice that he tried to sneak into Gisel’s room and tried to take advances of her. He succeeded one time when Lady Beatrice took a vacation to Polynesia, a thousand miles away from the kingdom of Tunisia. And I was that little girl from King Crono’s and Aunt Gisel’s infidelity. I didn’t tell Em about this for I know she will be furious to what really happened to Gisel who id my real mother, her Grandmother by blood. We have the right to the throne too, but mom said it is wise to live a normal life . And Em needs that kind of life. A life without fear and hatred but love and security with me and her as a family. Rodolfo knew our story and he stood by our side especially in protecting Em, since she too is a tru blooded Montfort and it’s no denying that when this hidden truth comes out in the open. It’ll be chaos and the death of the twin brothers Louis Leopold and Leonardo. I wish I could explain to Em everything. But due to the sensitivity of the issue I couldn’t tell her that her Grandmother experienced a bad life inside the castle with those who supposed to care and protect her as a family, shamed her.

Em is now sleeping soundly. I was standing in front of her bed and then sat beside it to touch her innocent face. Haa!, when will this nightmare end. I know the marriage needs to happen so that our family will be able to take revenge with what they did to mother. But I don’t want to risk Em’s life because of it. Mom said to forgive them but how can I do that when until now they shame her grave with lies, when she was the victim from all these shit. I will avenge mom’s life and death. They will pay for their arrogance and I will make sure they will suffer the same things they did to mom, even if I die to make this happen, Victoria thought teary eyed, looking at Em and kissing her goodnight.

In the morning, you fool, why did you do that, Cronan, you knew that I will be there, what happened? Are you literally triying to kill me for some reason? Em shouting while she alighted outside her hummer in a secluded area out of reach from anyone about a hundred feet away from the villa. Not quite far but just to make sure Rodolfo or mom wouldn’t hear my conversations with my stupid brother.

Sorry, Em, sorry! How many times would you want me to apologised, geez!!! You crazy girl!, get off my back now. I’ll make sure that my guys won’t hit you next time. Okay! I gotta go, the misses is calling out for me, hehe!, Hey make sure your full payment will arrive in no time. I’m dying here and if not for my hot lady I won’t survive shitty weather of this city, Cronan Jr, exclaimed in anger and suddenly calmed down when a sexy lady came on two piece in front of him while talking on the phone with Em. Okay okay, slizzy bastard! You’ll get your money if you finish the job asap!, she said bossily and hanged up the phone. Victoria was behind her when she suddenly felt someone is literally with her at the moment.

How did you know, mom??? Em said coolly but smirking when she turned her back to face Victoria.

How? I told you before that I even knew what you are thinking before you do it…but I kind of knew already when we were at the diner. The manager and the girl there seemed to know we will go there and Louis Leopold was with the shooters then. You were behind all of this, you and your worthless brother Cronan, Jr. I should’ve known !!!, Victoria said exhaling hard and looking at me intently now. Seriously, you think you can pull this off? Em, I’ve tried to avenge mom’s, erh your grandmother’s death…Victoria was cut off by Em.

She was burned to the stakes, mom, accused with things she didn’t do. Grandma suffered during her lifetime and was raped, shamed and now this, tortured and then killed, where’s justice when we needed it? I know you will try to do the hero thing again on your own, just like with dad. You were lucky to have survived the ambush with dad. This time, I won’t let you, mom, not this time, I don’t want to lose you, not with Nana gone. Please mom, please, no, huhuhuhuh!, Em now crying hard pleading to her mom while trying to hold her arms and hugging her. Victoria was also in tears touching Em’s cheek and pulling away her hand from hers. She turned around and went on her way to order her men to take over the castle by the end of the week, since Em and Leopold’s wedding is set by the time. She will use the time to plot an excuse to help out in the finishing touches of the castle and build snares for the royal guards, those who have no idea who she really was. Her team are loyal to her, her and Prince Maxim. Tessa will not be harmed but knowing her, I bet she is well prepared when we get there. Then let hell break lose and favour the victor, Victoria added thinking of how to make sure their plot to overtake the castle and the kingdom happen without hurting Em and Leopold in the picture.
