88 Chapter 88 : Endgame

Duri said, "Dad.."

Kainine stepped back, saying, "Oooops. I used only 2% of my strength that time. But hey, at least you got to talk to your dad before he got killed. Even though your dad is a murderer. Speaking of dads being murderers.."

Kainine looked at Reborn and Zabel, "Your dad is a murder also, correct?"

Reborn said to Kainine, "Back away."

Kainine's body shook, and she was blasted away by an unseen force, but the same was done to Reborn, and he blasted back too.

Ranbu thought, 'So that's it..whatever damage is done to her, it will be done to the person also. So if I use my Time ability on her..if I make her freeze in place..then I will be frozen.'

Ranbu exclaimed, "So that's your move.."

Kainine waved, "Hi, Ranbu!"

Zabel looked up, seeing Ranbu.

'The other Titans aren't with him? Why? Are they staying in their realm to hold back demons or what?'

Ellie and Jae put their hands on Duri's shoulders, Duri was just sitting there blank.

Kainine said out loud, "To be honest, I think it's time we all tell the truth. Reborn and Zabel, years ago, me and my men joined in on the Harvest invasion, but was only there to fill your dad with the spirit of possession, and he was been under my control, since I tricked that spirit into doing what I say, making him think he could take over my body. I made him kill your mother, so he could bring me her body, since she had the power to change fate. I wanted to use that on my parents' bodies, so they could come back. But Zabel FUCKED it up. I don't know how, but Zabel destroyed the spirit of possession altogether. Look over there, it's your dad's head. Yay!"

Zabel yelled, "Lies!"

Reborn joined in, "She's fucking lying!"

Duri said out loud, "She's not."

Everyone looked at Duri, and Duri explained, "She's telling the truth. She did everything she explained. I have the ability..to tell who's lying or not. Zabel..Reborn..I wanna kill you both. But now..we all need to work together to kill this Kainine woman.."

Kainine exclaimed, "That's the spirit! Hoo! Hoo! Come at me all at once."

Zabel and Reborn dashed up first, Zabel told Reborn, "We have to watch our attacks, we have to seal her. If we hit her, we'll feel the damage also."

"What if we kill her in one go? Would we die?"

"I don't wanna find out. We have to seal her, and then if we get sealed too, I'll just have you break me out of the seal."

"Got it, brother."

All of Harvest and the Arcane started to run at Kainine too. Duri, Jae, and Ellie just stood there, watching them.

Duri said, "She killed dad..I have to seal her also.."

Jae replied, "Yeah, use your Titan powers. Yeah I knew you were a Titan since day one."

"…Figures."

Ellie said, "What are we gonna do? Whatever damage she takes, we get the same amount of damage done to us? She's overpowered!"

Duri replied, "We can still stop her. She's not immortal."

Everyone was teleporting everywhere, with powers blasting and everything blowing up in destruction.

Kainine had her arms folded with a smile, she was just dodging everything, and the ground caved in under her. It forced her to kneel as she fell with the platform, and millions of power users were falling at her and trying to seal with her their powers.

Kainine laughed, "Haha! Is this all you got?!"

Reborn exclaimed, "You're gonna pay for this, Kainine!"

Zabel added, "Damn you!"

Kainine smirked, "How endearing! Brothers fighting together! We all had similar goals did we not?"

"Don't compare us to you!"

Reborn adds, "Zabel! Don't get too close!"

Zabel responded, "Got it! Keep your distance!"

Duri took off his headband, and he started to turn into his Angel Titan.

Duri said, "I'll end this quickly."

Duri started to rise in the air, and Ranbu was floating beside him.

Ranbu said, "She's strong, your Angel Titan might not survive.."

"You're here? Where are the other Titans?"

"Not here right now."

"What happened to them?"

"They're dead."

"How?"

"Too many questions, kid. They're dead."

Duri thinks, 'He's not lying, but his hostility and bloodlust is rising..and this scent…oh no..'

Duri floated back some, "You killed them..didn't you?"

Ranbu looked at Duri, "Don't ask too many questions. I'm serious."

"You fucking killed them.."

"I.."

"You did! I can smell their blood on your hands.."

"…I had to. They weren't being loyal to me. They wouldn't ride with me when I told them I needed your body, they didn't wanna come with me to kill Kainine."

"You.."

"I need to see my family again. My wife..my kids..I.."

Duri swung his sword at Ranbu, and Ranbu caught Duri's wrist, and said, "Do not fight me. I don't wanna kill you."

"As if you could anyway!"

Duri's Titan form was disappearing,

knowing that it was Ranbu doing that.

Duri thought, 'Shit! He's as strong as me!'

Ellie and Jae flew up to them, yelling, "Let him go!"

Duri exclaimed, "Jae! Ellie! Move!"

Ranbu looked at them, saying, "Fools."

Duri permeated through Ranbu, and stabbed him through the head.

Ranbu just stood there, "You really think that is enough to-."

Ellie and Jae grabbed onto Ranbu, Ellie exclaimed, "Do it now!"

Ranbu gasped, "They're strong!"

Duri rushed up and tried to throw a punch, but he froze in mid air, and he, Ellie, and Jae started to reverse backwards because of Ranbu.

Jae said, "He's rewinding us!"

Ellie responded, "Look!"

They looked at Duri, but Duri was fighting it, his extended fist was trembling, and Ranbu said, "Oh? You have great resistance to my ability."

Ellie and Jae were frozen in mid air too, but shadow snakes and lions came from their chests, soaring towards Ranbu.

Jae thought, 'He can freeze us, but he can't freeze abilities!'

Duri looked down at his dad's headless bleeding body, and he became even more determined, immediately teleporting behind Ranbu and punching him hard in the back.

Ranbu coughed up blood, and his eyes went white, as his soul was flying out of his mouth.

'What?!'

Ranbu's soul was drifting off, and it tried to go back in Ranbu's body. Duri grabbed the throat of the soul, and said, "It was either you or me. I didn't need you to help with this fight, your abilities are worthless against Kainine anyway. I won't have another maniac coming after me.'

Duri squeezed down, and he destroyed Ranbu's soul instantly.

Jae and Ellie floated in the air in their shadow forms, saying, "Duri!"

Duri turned to where all the fighting was, and he, Ellie, and Jae gasped.

Everyone was dead. Zabel, Reborn, all of Harvest, and all of Arcane. They were all dead.

And Kainine was standing in the middle of their bodies, laughing, "Phew! Haha! That was fun!"

Duri, Ellie, and Jae floated together, with their hands shaking in fear.

Ellie said, "She killed….all of them!"

Jae responded, "This is bad..the fight just started! And she.."

Duri said, "Ellie."

"Yes, Duri..?"

"Take you and Jae out of here. Now."

"No, we're not leaving you, Duri."

Jae added, "Exactly! If you fight, then we fight!"

Kainine was crying up, saying, "Aww, is that so sweet. The Angel Titan is willing to save his friends just so they wouldn't be near me. But…it's no use. I really wanted you to be my son, Jae. But it seems like that's not gonna happen anytime soon. One…two…three!"

Kainine slashed her hand softly in front of her, Jae and Ellie's body was cut in half, and Duri's body was blasted backwards.

That move alone caused everyone on earth to die, every single person on earth including all of the Hosts including the seven strongest Hosts, Duri's friends, t her Judges..every single person's body was sliced in half, killing them all, and making them fall on the ground.

Everyone in every realm was cut in half too, she killed everyone.

Kainine said, "Now then, time to destroy the realms. Shit, that's gonna be a hassle. *Gasps*..wait, wait..he's still

alive?!"

[Earth]

It was silent on earth, and the wind howled, with the sky still red. Even the demons were gone.

Duri was laying on the ground on a pile of bodies, and half of his Titan form was gone, and he had a huge gash in his stomach and chest. Duri was choking blood, and he was coughing loudly.

Duri yelled, "AH! Everyone! No!!"

Duri struggled to sit up, with blood endlessly spilling from his stomach and chest.

Duri was on one knee, and he looked all around him, seeing bodies. It was piles upon piles of bodies. Behind him, a voice said, "Duri.."

Duri turned around slowly with blood dripping from his gashed head, and he saw Kazuma.

Kazuma was crying, saying, "They're all..they're all dead.."

Duri's eyes got big, "W-Who?..Wait.."

Kazuma responded, "Everyone…all of our friends..Seven, Tek, all of them..even the Hosts and the Judges..they're all dead..Kainine did this.."

Duri cried slowly, he felt no lies coming from Kazuma. Kazuma was telling the truth.

Tears came from Duri's eyes, and he stood up, "No..no.."

Duri was shaking as he stood up all the way, and he asked Kazuma, "How the fuck…are you alive? Huh?! Fucking tell me!"

"I'm from hell! I'm from..there. Her powers don't work on anything from there, unless she was trying to get me. I'm not human at all. I was created from a chunk of the gates of hell..I'm sorry that I didn't tell any of you sooner..I just thought..you would all hate me..I didn't wanna lose you guys.."

Duri turned around, and started limping away while creating shadow wraps to put wrap around his bleeding stomach and chest.

Duri was looking around him, seeing the bodies of his friends, and he eventually saw the bodies of the Hosts, including Marshy.

Kazuma followed him.

Duri dropped to his knees, surrounded by bodies and rubble, and smoke from the battle rising into the air.

Duri's eyes were soaked with tears, and his fists trembled, and he said, "Marshy..Seven..Tek..Jiyu…Shiryu..The Hosts..Nine..Ren-Ren..Ellie..Jae."

Duri started to scream out loud as he held Marshy's body in his hands.

Kazuma started to cry, and he fell on his bottom, hating himself.

'This is all my fault..'

Duri weeped, wiping his mothers hair, and some of the blood on his head dropped onto Marshy's lifeless face.

Duri said, "We can't win..not against Kainine..she's too strong…I'm sorry, Marshy…"

Duri turned his sword to himself, and said, "Fuck it!"

Kazuma dashed over to Duri and tackled him, saying, "No! I won't let you!"

Duri screamed, "Let me go! We can't win! It's over!"

"Please Duri! You're not the one to give up!"

"There's no point anymore! Everyone is dead, Kazuma!"

Kazuma was using all of his strength to hold the sword away from Duri, saying, "I feel like this is all my fault, Duri. But I know..we can win this.."

"Let me go! Kazuma! Only if I was stronger!"

"You are strong! We can't give up! Our friends and family, they wouldn't want us to give up! Marshy would be mad at you!"

Duri started to calm down, looking Kazuma in his eyes.

Duri said, "I need them all back..I can't..go on without them. For the first time ever in my life..I feel complete while having all of you around. You are all my friends..I can't go on alone.."

"Duri.."

Duri started to cry some more, until suddenly, a spirit dropped feet first in front of Duri. It was the spirit of Elma.

Duri and Kazuma looked at Elma, "Huh..?"

Elma said, "It's only a matter of time before this form disappears, I'm using astral projection to talk to you. The body was destroyed, but I used dark magic to escape with my soul. I am a medium, I can do things like that and others as well. But the damage I've taken from Kainine is limiting me from staying in this form for too long. After that..then it's over."

Duri asked, "Who..are you..?"

"I am Elma, I worked with Zabel. I was being controlled by him to do whatever he asked me to do, mostly using me so he could talk to his brother Reborn..when Reborn was dead. But If you're planning on destroying Kainine, you need to tap into what Titans are known for.."

Kazuma finished, "Creation.."

Duri gasped, "But I don't know how..it's useless.."

Elma scoffed, "Shut up! Shut up doubting yourself! If you tap into your creation ability, which is probably maxed out, you could bring restoration, and maybe even bring your friends and family and everyone one else on earth back to life. But it will cost you if you are bringing them back."

Duri thought, 'She's not lying..'

Duri started to stand up, with Kazuma helping him up.

Duri asked, "How do I do this..?"

Elma said, "I've studied Titans for years upon years, only because I talked to spirits that wanted to control the bodies of Titans, in exchange for dark magic abilities that I could learn. And you have to bond with your own soul. And I mean that in the literal sense.."

Elma started disappearing, and Duri yelled, "Wait! Elma!"

Duri threw up blood as he took one step forward, and Kazuma said, "Duri!"

Duri grinned, "I know exactly what to do.."

Kazuma thought, 'He's grinning..he's back!'

Duri said, "I know how to bind with my own soul..I do it like I'm bonding with other peoples powers..we can win this!"

Kazuma smiled, "We can! We can bring everyone back! But that woman said it'll cost you.."

"I don't care if it costs me my fucking life..I'm bringing them all back! I don't care what it takes! We can do this!"

Duri stuck his fist out to Kazuma, and Kazuma gasped, and he fist bumped Duri.

Out of nowhere, Kainine was floating in front of Duri and Kazuma, and her eyes were pitch black, she grew bigger, and she had more arms.

Kainine said, "What do we have here? A spawn from hell helping the enemy? You were gonna be my son, Kazuma."

Kazuma said, "Those days are over now..Kainine..we're gonna stop you.."

"Not if I kill that Titan boy first!"

Kainine zoomed forward at Duri, and punched him in the face. The attack sent Duri back 1,000 feet, crashing through buildings, and breaking every bone in his body. Kainine was about to do the same move she did on everyone, but Kazuma came out of nowhere, yelling, "No!"

Kazuma created a fire shield, and Kainine touched it once, and the entire thing shattered.

Kazuma kept putting up fire walls, and Kainine kept destroying them.

Kainine said, "You're wasting my time! Hell will be the last place standing! All other places are wasting space! Why can't you understand my goals and join me?!"

Kazuma yelled, "Because-! I can't! I don't do bad things!"

"Oh don't tell me this is the power of friendship talking?! Do better!"

Kainine teleported over to Duri, who was on the ground, and Kazuma started to yell with fire shooting out from him. Kazuma started to turn into a 80 foot dragon, with 5 tails, four heads, seven horns, and super tough skin.

Kainine smiled, "This is exciting! Still, I have to kill you."

Kainine looked down, and Duri was gone.

Duri was walking through rubble, limping and almost falling over. He could barely see, his eyes were covered in blood, and he was thinking, 'Gotta…merge..Kazuma just turned into a fucking dragon…he's holding her off..good..'

Kazuma was flying around shooting fireballs at Kainine, and Kainine felt them, she was feeling the pain, and Kazuma felt the pain also. Kazuma was chasing Kainine, and Kainine was making all the building and rubble levitate off the ground, rising rapidly.

Kainine stuck her hands at Kazuma, and Kazuma was blasted back by an unseen force, smashing against a wall that was rising in the air.

Kazuma was out of his dragon form, and Kainine rushed up to him, and grabbed his face, smashing through the walls.

Kainine said, "I'm ashamed and embarrassed. You could've avoided all of this."

Kazuma turned into the same big dragon again, and hit Kainine with his tail, sending her back. But then Kazuma felt the pain too, being blasted backwards.

Kazuma sat up, and Kainine punched straight through his stomach. Kazuma screeched, and Kainine floated above Kazuma, and she touched his head with one finger, and Kazuma blasted downard, smashing to the ground, making the ground explode and sink in its place.

Duri was lying on the ground, holding his stomach.

'This is the only way..this is the only way..this is the only way..!'

Duri stabbed his hand through his own chest, and grabbed his own soul. Duri made shadows wrap around his mouth as he screamed in pain, so he wouldn't make too much noise.

Duri began to merge with his own soul, merging with the power and energy within it.

Duri started to randomly think about all of the past users of the Angel Titan, seeing them all use their creation powers to help the world, or do bad things with them.

'The past Angel Titan users…!'

Duri sweated blood, as he could feel the power brimming through his entire body.

Kainine was flying around, straaight towards Duri.

"There you are! You won't be in the way!"

Kazuma flew in and blew fire at Kainine, and even shot parts of his sharp skin at Kainine.

Kainine teleported away from them, and before she could grab Duri, Duri used everything in him to teleport away, but it took a toll on him, he threw up more blood.

'I can't do that again!'

Duri's body was brightening, and Kainine kept teleporting to him.

Kazuma swooped in and ate Duri's body without chewing, letting Duri safely sit in there.

Kazuma yelled, "I gotcha, Duri!"

Kainine teleported in front of Kazuma, "You're not getting away!"

Kazuma spun around fast, creating a whirlwind of fire, and then he teleported away.

Kainine and Kazuma were teleporting all over the place, with Kazuma yelling, "Aghh!"

Kainine dashed through Kazuma's body again, and this time, she grabbed Duri in the process, flying away with him.

Kainine said, "Time to..what-?!"

Duri's body was bright, and Kainine was blasted away from him, and Duri was blasted back too just because of Kainine's power.

Duri smirked, "Power Level : Creation."

Kainine gasped, and a bright light flashed, with Kazuma turning back to his normal self.

Kainine yelled, "No!"

It was bright around the area, and Duri's voice said everywhere, "Creation: Restore.."

Duri was in his full Angel Titan form, and his armor, horns, hair, and wings glowed white along with his eyes and sword.

Kainine screamed, "No!!"

A bright light flashed again, and all was silent, and the sky was turning blue.

Duri opened his eyes, and he was lying in the middle of the road. His wounds were all healed, but he didn't have a right arm, and his shadow powers and Angel Titan were gone, erased from reality. He was powerless, which was the cost Elma had warned him about.

The sky was blue, and the sun was shining heavily, Duri opened his eyes some more, and surrounding him, was Marshy, Tek, Kazuma, Seven, Nine, Jiyu, Ren-Ren, Shiryu, Espen, Ellie, Jae, and the seven strongest Hosts.

Duri said, "Guys.."

Kazuma smiled, "Duri!"

Kazuma hugged Duri, then everyone else did, besides Xenon, Tetsuya, Sith, Hanako, and Tek.

The buildings around them were intact, and civilians were getting to their feet.

Marshy kissed Duri on the cheek over and over, saying, "Kazuma told us everything..you saved everyone…"

Duri looked around, seeing the civilians get to their feet.

Duri sighed, "No…Kazuma helped me..without him there turning into a fucking dragon…it would've been over."

Seven was hugging Duri the tightest, "Thank you, Duri."

Duri hugged her back, "I had to…for you and everyone else. I don't know what the hell I'd do without you all..oh..and all my powers are gone. All of them. Even my Angel Titan is destroyed. That was the cost for bringing you all back, and my right arm.

Xenon said, "What matters is that you're alive, and that you and Kazuma saved lives as well, including ours."

Tek added, "We're not gonna like you any differently because you lost your powers. You're still that brat Duri."

Duri said, "Guys.."

Hanako: "You and Kazuma showed bravery in the battle against the queen of hell. I commend you. And I thank you."

Tetsuya: "You did the unthinkable, tapping into your inner self to win. Sounds like me when I was a young buck."

Chaos: "Duri you're so fucking cool. Can I get your autograph after this? And uh, thank you, bro. You saved our asses."

Kedarah hugged Duri tight, "I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that! Thank you thank you thank you, for bringing everyone back too! Can I kiss you on the cheek?"

Sith: "Keh..Keh…I don't like saying thank you to any brat! But..you're alright with me, Duri. Thanks."

Jiyu smiled, "I'm glad you're safe, Duri. We need to go hang out to loosen up a bit. And thank you! You and Kazuma! And Duri, I can make you a new arm if you'd like."

Ren-Ren: "Like Sith, I don't like saying thanks to commoner brats! But thank you, peasant. I owe you big time."

Nine: "You're amazing, little bro! And you're an amazing friend and ally."

Shiryu: "Duri..you did a lot for us..you're badass…you and Kazuma..I'm glad we're all friends.."

Espen: "I wanted to marry you first, Duri, but Seven is in my way. Just know, you are my bestest friend. You and Kazuma."

Tek stepped up to Duri, and stuck his hand out. Duri looked at the hand, and smacked it away. Duri stood up by himself with a grin, "There's no damn way I'm letting my rival help me off the ground. Even without powers, this rivalry will never end, friend rival. Rival friend. Whatever the fuck it's called."

Duri and Tek shook hands, and Tek said, "Thank you Duri. Rival friend."

Next Marshy put her hand on Duri's head, and hugged him again, and said, "What did you create with your ability to win against Kainine?"

"I created an indestructible and immortal prison and made it to where only Kainine could be in it and no one else. I put her in it, and I created a wind that would revive all of the people that I wanted to raise, which I said all my friends and the Hosts, the Judges, and the ones who lost their lives on earth due to the recent battle. So on and so forth, Reborn and Zabel are dead, Kainine was connected to them, family issues. And Ranbu was a fucking narc, he killed all the Titans. I couldn't raise them for some reason. Dad was dead too..I couldn't raise him either. I don't know why."

"You seen your father?"

"Mhm. I got to say what I wanted to say to him too."

"Good. I wish I could've seen him again, but I see him through you. I mean, you two look exactly the fucking same."

Marshy then looked at Kazuma, and she hugged him too, saying, "You're brave too, defending Duri until he merged with his soul..you're strong."

Kazuma smiled, "Thanks!"

Everyone started to thank Kazuma too, and Duri smiled.

'Well, my shadow powers and Angel Titan are gone. And my right arm. But it was worth it. I'm glad they're all back.'

Ellie and Jae came up, and Ellie exclaimed, "We won! Woohoo! Let's all go do something fun to get our mind off this shit!"

Jae said to Duri, "Duri!"

Duri replied, "Jae!"

"I gotta tell ya..you truly are..the strongest being to ever live. You are way ahead of me. I lost."

"You're damn right you lost! Haha! I win! I win! I win!"

Judge Akio and Judge Anna came by, and they were thanking Duri and Kazuma as well….

Xenon lit up a cigarette, and asked everyone with a smile, "Who wants a cig?!"

Everyone looked at him, saying:

"Ew!"

"No!"

"You're crazy!"

Duri laughed, and Seven stood beside him, holding his hand.

[7 years later]

[Hospital]

23 year old Duri was rushing through the hallway of the hospital, panicking with sweat dripping down his face.

'This is actually happening, this is actually happening..! Room 203…room 203…' There!'

Duri found the room, and immediately went inside. Seven was laying on the hospital bed holding a baby, while all of Duri's friends, the Hosts, and Judge Akio and Judge Anna were in there with her.

Zaiyen and Hinata, Seven's parents, were right there with them too.

Everyone looked at Duri.

Marshy said, "Late ass, brat!"

Duri responded, "Heh?! I got stopped in traffic!"

"Haha! Imagine."

Seven said to Duri, "You wanna come say hi to your son?"

Duri immediately raced over there to the bed, "We made this..this kid is a mixture between me and you, Seven."

Seven chuckled, "Hehe, yes, Duri."

Marshy weeped, "Ugh! They grow up so fast! My son, having a son! I'm a grandmother!"

Xenon said, "I'm gonna give the baby a cigarette."

"No the hell you're not."

"Don't curse around the baby."

"You were cursing up a storm before Duri came in here!"

Nine: "A miniature Duri! I have baby fever!"

Tek: "That baby is my rival too. Just like his father."

Espen: "The baby is thinking about darkness. Edgy boy. Just like how Duri used to be in school."

Shiryu: "Such a cute baby.."

Jiyu: "I wanna pinch his cheeks!"

Ren-Ren: "This cuteness! It's…It's pulling me in!"

Kazuma said to Ren-Ren, "Hang in there, Ren-Ren!"

Hanako: "Cuteness is pulling me towards the bed. Someone help."

Sith: "I'm gonna teach that baby how to slice! Haha!"

Chaos responded to Sith, "No! You can't! We gotta keep him innocent, like me!"

Kedarah: "I'm gonna spoil that baby too! More spoiling, yay!"

Tetsuya: "Such compelling cheeks. And he has the same birthmark as his father. I see the resemblance."

Zaiyen: "Seven has a son with Duri. I don't know WHAT TO SAY!"

Hinata: "Let's just be happy for her. It's all we can do. And we're gonna spoil that child too! Haha! Our grandson!"

Ellie exclaimed, "A shadow baby!!! It should've been me! I mean..c-c-congrats, Duri and Seven! Hrmmmm…"

Jae: "Duri is a father. I need to step up my game. I'm pretty sure one of these hot earthlings will take me. But congrats Duri and Seven."

Seven handed Duri their son, and Duri looked in its eyes.

Marshy asked, "So what are you two naming him?"

Duri and Seven looked at each other, and answered, "Sora."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Sora (Duri and Seven's son) had black hair, and purple eyes. And he has the same birthmark on his face that Duri had.

Sora started to giggle, and coming out from his baby hand, were shadows.

Duri and everyone else saw it, and grinned.
