87 Chapter 87: Maximum Terror

Duri asked Jae, "Where the hell have you been all this time?!"

Jae smiled, "Here!"

Ellie asked, "Why?"

"I couldn't actually leave..I didn't know how to realm transfer."

Duri asked Jae another question, "So you've been alone here all this time? What have you been doing?"

"Training. And I was completely alone. I can create shadows who talk back to you. But more importantly, Duri, Ellie, I'm glad you two are alive. I thought about you two everyday, wondering if you were still breathing or not. And now that you're here, I feel like a big hole has been filled. I knew Ellie was alive, but I wasn't so sure of you Duri."

Ellie said to Jae, "Explain the dreams, brother."

"I used my shadows to locate you, but they only could interact with you if you were asleep. I sent a message along with them, telling you to find me. It had intervals though, I couldn't spam it all the time, and it took a while for the messages to get to you."

"What's really going on?"

Jae looked up, and they saw demons falling from the red sky.

Jae answered, "It's Kainine. And hell. She wants to destroy all realms so hell can be the only place in existence. Since I've been here alone, she has come here several times and tried to recruit me to be her son. She's tried a dozen times, saying she doesn't want to force me, but wants me to come out of free will."

Duri asked, "What made her want to come here? Out of all places? Did she know you were here alone?"

"She was scouting out realms for years, infiltrating them in a disguise to inspect the realm's army and defenses. And once she came here, she only found me."

"Then we gotta stop her! Where is she now?"

"In hell."

Ellie said, "I can realm transfer. But it'll take about 4 minutes to recharge again since I used it to get here."

All three of them looked around them, and ferocious and horrific looking demons were pouncing at them from all corners.

Duri, Ellie, and Jae went into full shadow form, and their fists clenched, getting into a fighting stance.

Jae exclaimed, "Good to be fighting alongside you again, Duri!"

Duri smiled, "Yeah, bro!"

The demons came in close; Duri, Ellie, and Jae dashed out fast, and went to fight.

Duri spun through all of the demons holding 12 big shadow swords, shredding the demons up like they were in a blender.

Once Duri finished, three demons we're about to crash on him, but Duri made 50 large shadow snakes surround him, covering him.

Duri leaped out of the shadow snakes, and he darted towards the ground, and punched it as hard as he could. The ground cracked hard and the demons blasted all over the place.

Jae dashed past Duri, saying, "You've gotten stronger, Duri!"

Duri answered, "Hell yeah I have!"

"Your intense training has definitely paid off!"

"You're strong too!"

"I always knew that!"

Jae stuck his hand out to a couple of incoming demons, and a shadow orb formed, and he punched it. The orb went forward and it grew bigger as it did, black and white energy shocked around it, and the bolts were blasting all over the place while destroying everything, killing the demons and ripping them in half.

Once the orb got done, Duri zipped behind the orb, and grabbed it, and he began to merge with it.

Duri had white and grey electricity blasting around his body, including his fists.

Duri ran towards some demons, and he dodged all of their attacks. One demon was tall, and it opened its mouth largely, trying to suck Duri in. Duri jumped right inside, and threw one punch, and it made the demon explode.

Duri jumped out, and he started to punch and kick the other demons, while stylishly dodging their attacks, not getting hit once.

Jae smashed a demon's head into the ground, jumped upwards and blasted large shadow fists all around him, knocking demons away.

Jae looked over at Duri, watching him fight tremendously, thinking, 'He has gotten way way stronger…damn he's amazing.'

Jae stood back to back with Duri, "Oi! You remember our deal?"

Duri smirked, "Yes. One of us had to become the strongest being to ever live! And that being is gonna be me!"

Ellie yelled to them, "It feels good being left out of shit!"

Duri replied, "Shut up! You weren't in on this deal!"

"Huh?! You shut up! I'm involved now, brat!"

"Dumbass!"

Ellie was running around demons, using clone shadows of her with swords to destroy the demons all together.

Ellie jumped on a demon's back, and started stabbing it in the head with a shadow sword, and then she jumped off, and super kicked it in the horrific face, blasting it into the air.

Ellie landed on the ground, and she created shadow dogs to disperse and eat the demons up.

Ellie asked out loud, "Oi! You guys think this is a little TOO easy?"

Jae laughed, "It's because we're like wayyyyy stronger than them!"

Duri replied, "Ellie, how long until we can leave?"

"1 minute!"

"Speed it up!"

"You speed it up!"

Jae said, "Did I miss anything? You two didn't do anything LEWD, right?"

Ellie smirked, "Well, I wanted to make shadow babies with him until I legally became his adopted sister."

"What?!"

Duri said, "Oi! Don't look at me! She's the crazy one!"

Ellie scoffed, "I'm not crazy!"

Three demons were about to eat Ellie, but Duri came in and saved her by ripping the heads off the demons with his bare hands, spinning around, and kicking the demons in the stomach, shooting them into the sky.

Ellie asks, "Why did you save me?"

Duri answered, "Because I want to. I can't let you die."

"Duri…"

Jae swooped up, "Too much mushiness. Ew!"

Ellie scoffed, "It's not what it looks like! Oh! We can leave now! Everyone grab onto me!"

Duri and Jae jumped over and dodged some more demons, and they grabbed onto Ellie's arm.

More demons were dropping from the sky, and they all headed towards Duri and the others.

They were one inch away, until Ellie yelled, "Realm Transfer: Hell!"

[Earth]

Seven was flying around the area, smashing purple orbs on all the demons that were falling from the sky. She fought them as they fell, grabbing their faces and ripping them in half, avoiding the other demon's attacks.

Nine was running on the ground down below, yelling, "You okay, Seven?!"

Seven answered, "Hell yeah! This is way too easy!"

Nine saw a large group of demon spider people crawling down the road, and Nine said, "Godspeed."

Nine blasted across the road, massacring all of the demons with her speed, and the buildings around her collapsed.

Kazuma was just sitting on the ground, too in shock to say or do anything.

'I didn't say anything to them. I knew this war was coming..I knew what Kainine was planning..I knew from the beginning…I knew ever since I came to earth. Why did I hide it? I'm such an idiot..if only..I told them sooner. People are dying…because..'

In front of Kazuma, Ren-Ren and Shiryu stepped in front of him.

Ren-Ren said, "You feel bad about what you did, show us by helping us fight these demons."

Shiryu added with his hand out, "Yeah! We're in this together. No matter what, we're still your friends…"

Kazuma teared up, "Guys.."

They helped Kazuma up to his feet, and Kazuma looked forward, seeing more demons coming at them.

Kazuma closed his fist, and fire brimmed around it.

"Okay..let's go then."

Kazuma, Ren-Ren, and Shiryu rushed forward, and they began to fight the demons.

Shiryu started to have fire around his body, and he used his incredible speed to dart around the demons, punching all of them in the face with fire punches, knocking them everywhere.

Kazuma jumped over some of the demons, stuck his hand out to them, and a fire hurricane brewed out of his hand, spiraling down towards the demons, and collapsed on them, blowing them all over the place.

Kazuma landed on the ground, and one demon said to him, "You traitor.."

Kazuma waved his hands, "I-I-I!!"

"Traitor…you were Kainine's pupil..you were going to be her son. And now you release your true self and power towards us."

Kazuma frowned, "I'm not like any of you. I'm…different.."

"Different my ass!"

Kazuma stomped on the demon's head, crushing it as fire ran everywhere.

Ren-Ren was teleporting all over the place, using his katana to cut demon heads and body parts all over the place.

Ren-Ren said, "Hell, huh? The number of peasant villains I've come across continues to get more absurd."

Ren-Ren slashed his katana through the air dozens of times, letting red slashes race through the area, killing demons over and over.

Jiyu and Espen were on a rooftop, Jiyu was shooting explosive flaming bullets down at the demons who were trying to climb the building, and Espen was fighting some of the demons with her bare hands.

She kicked some in the faces, and punched them right off the rooftop. One demon with king black hair and dog like face grabbed Espen by the stomach, and tried to eat her.

Espen yelled, "Ow! That fucking hurts!"

Jiyu turned around, and started running towards them.

"I'm coming, Espen!"

The demon shot a large bone at Jiyu, Jiyu jumped above it and made a rocket form in her hands by her gloves.

She shot the flying bone with her rocket, and there was another explosion, she went flying in the air.

More bones from the demon shot at Jiyu, and Jiyu was shooting rockets at all of them, making direct hits.

The last bone was incoming, and Jiyu turned into a sword, spiraling through the bone like it was nothing.

Jiyu went straight through the demon's body, killing it, and Espen was free.

Espen started coughing, as Jiyu was turning back to normal.

Espen said, "Thank you, Jiyu. Are you hurt?"

Jiyu responded, "You're welcome, and I'm fine. I'm pretty tough. Like Kazuma."

"Good. But back to the situation at hand, this doesn't seem right."

"It's way too easy. I really really d-don't like it.."

Hosts Marshy, Sith, Xenon, Kedarah, Hanako, Tetsuya, and Chaos were all together, holding off demons too.

Xenon smashed his ax into the ground, the ground split, and many of the demons around him blew up in pounds of blood.

Xenon turned around and threw his ax, and it destroyed more demons, ripping them in half.

Xenon yelled, "Hanako!"

Hanako replied, "Yokai!"

The ax went past Hanako, and Hanako hit the ax with her sword on purpose, making a large explosion, making it hit more demons in the process.

Hanako did a backflip away from it, with demons jumping out from under ground behind her.

In the blink of an eye, Hanako sliced them in half. Then she turned around, a giant spirit in her form came out from behind her holding a large sword, and they both darted forward at more demons.

Marshy was using her bare hands to fight, she was dragging multiple demons by the face and flying around the area, smashing them and smearing their faces into everything until there was nothing left.

'Why can't I talk to Duri telepathically now? It feels..blocked. I gotta find him! But I'm pretty sure he's fine, these demons are not strong at all.'

Five super sized centipedes came from the sky and started swooping at Marshy.

Marshy started running quickly towards them, running beside her, Chaos and Sith.

Chaos asked, "Any idea on what's going on?"

Marshy exclaimed, "Demons are falling from the sky and killing the people without powers, but are weak against us."

Sith said, "This could be Kainine's doing.."

"It can't be…these demons are too weak to be a part of her legion. Seems like another realm is mimicking her."

Chaos responded, "Have you heard from the kids?"

Marshy answered, "No. I haven't. I have to locate all of Duri's friends."

All three of them jumped up high, heading towards the centipedes.

Jumping from the rooftop next to them, was Kedarah and her stuffed animal creations.

Marshy stopped a centipede by grabbing its face, and it exploded instantly within a sonic boom.

Chaos was sliding down a centipede, and he did a backflip, allowing

pink and red energy to fill his fist up, and he punched the centipede, making it explode.

Sith was kicking off the air multiple times, using his blades to slice through a centipede in about 100 fast swings in less than 3 seconds.

Kedarah and her stuffed animals punched a hole in the back of a centipede, and they all jumped in, punching and kicking the inside of the centipede. They all dashed towards the front in one fast step, and the centipede blew up into bits, with Kedarah and her stuffed animals jumping out of it.

Marshy, Chaos, Sith, and Kedarah were standing together, and Marshy asked, "Where did Tetsuya go? He was around us earlier..?"

Kedarah answered, "He ran off to save some more civilians."

Chaos murmured, "Everything is fucked.."

Sith said, "We just gotta keep slicin'!"

Behind them, Judge Akio and Judge Anna approached them.

"Hosts!" Akio exclaimed.

The Hosts turned around, and Marshy asked, "Judge Akio?! Where have you guys been?"

"On the other side of the city, some of the judges are trying to destroy the red from the sky. But there's something worse I have to tell you."

"Spit it out!"

"Duri and Ellie are in hell."

It was silent among them, and Marshy said, "…No! Take me there!"

"You'll die! He's with Kainine!"

"I don't give a fuck! Take me! Duri and Ellie are MY responsibility!"

"It's gonna take a while to get in.."

"How long?"

"3 minutes. Since we used our realm transfer just to bring help!"

"Dammit! Duri! Ellie! What are they doing there?!"

[Hell]

Kainine was standing still with a smile, standing in the middle of a large area with fire and brimstone. She was surrounded by millions of the Arcane realm members, Duri and Ellie and Jae, Reborn, Zabel, Elma, and Reborn and everyone of Harvest.

Kainine said, "Wow. All this for me?"

Duri looked and saw a man with the same birthmark on his face, and Duri yelled, "Dad..?"

Kainine turned around, and saw Duri's dad looking at Duri.

In that split second, Kainine grabbed Duri's dad off the spikes, and stood him in front of Duri.

Kainine said, "Sorry, Shadow boy. I had to use your father. I was taking his power to create domes of whatever I wanted to fall out. And I used Reborn and Zabel's dad to take a one shot killer move. So awesome."

Duri looked at his dad, seeing he looked like him, but with longer hair, a beard, and scars.

Duri said, "Dad.."

The dad responded, "Son.."

Duri hugged him, and the dad smiled.

They were about to shed tears, and the dad said, "I looked everywhere for you and Marshy…how is she doing?"

Duri answered, "She's fine. She's fine. It's a long story on how I ended up on earth..you look so old."

"That's because I'm an old man, haha. But Duri, you are your friends, you have to get out of here..it's not safe."

"No, you need to leave. I'm a Titan. And my friends won't leave even if I told them to."

Jae said, "That's right."

Ellie added, "Same!"

Zabel looked at Duri, thinking, 'What the hell is Duri doing here? Shit! If he dies..'

Reborn saw Duri, thinking, 'Duri shouldn't be here on his own free will..I was planning on possessing him to come here and kill Kainine anyway.'

Ranbu the Time Titan thought, 'I can't reverse actual time yet. But I can reverse Kainine's position without affecting time at all..and I can freeze her in time. She is a formidable opponent. Everyone calls Titans the most powerful beings to ever live…well we got competition…the Queen of hell.'

Duri's dad said, "Duri..you have to stop Kainine.."

Kainine was smiling at Duri the entire time, and Duri had a stern look.

The dad said, "She's trying to get rid of every realm and earth..she has my power, now she'll be stronger than before..you have to do something."

"Dad…"

"You also have to…"

"Dad.."

"Destroy her soul, otherwise-."

"Dad! Fucking listen to me please! Please.."

"Duri.."

"I'm sorry we never got to spend time with each other..but even though I never talked to you before..you still hold a special place in my heart.."

"I love you, son."

Duri looked at Kainine, "Let my dad go. Please."

Kainine grinned, "Sure thing!"

Kainine ripped the head off of Duri's dad, and his body dropped to the floor. Everyone gasped, and Duri was frozen, with his pupils shaking horrifically.
