1 Wake up Idiot

[Quest: Wake up Idiot - Description: wake up and select your path. Reward: 1x Pure Spirit Companion and the trait "Taste for Power." ]

"What happened? Where am I, and why does my body hurt so much?" Kashi could hear voices one male one female. "Damnit, he's alive!" the male-sounding voice grumbled. "That means you owe me five bucks dad."

Kashi struggled to lift his head, he almost sat up upright. "No, no, no, no. You must lay down and let the medicine work its medical magic." Kashi's head was forced back down by the surprisingly strong mystery girl. "You need to calm down Mako or you'll actually end up killing the poor guy." The male chimed in.

"What the hell is going on!? Kashi forced himself to sit up as he found himself staring at the bewildered faces of a portly man and a young girl in a sailor outfit. "Who are you, where are my clothes, and why is there a screen in my face!?" The girl was the first to speak after Kashi's outburst. "My name is Mako Mankanshoku and the man behind me is my dear father Barazō Mankanshoku. You are currently in our private clinic after we discovered your body washed up in one of the alleys."

The oddly dressed girl then got closer while poking a finger into Kashi's aching chest. "As for your clothes, they are being washed by my mom so you better be thankful!" Kashi winced as his bleary eyes scanned the room, eventually falling back on the girl's rather unusual outfit or rather what was poking through said outfit. Kashi's pained face quickly changed into a wry smile. "While we're still on the topic, that's a nice bra is blue your preferred color?"

Mako flushed and quickly covered her chest while Barazō stepped back in holding a pair of black sweatpants. "Here are your pants as for your shirt it's still drying on the rack." Barazō saw the look on his daughter's face and Kashi's grin, "So what have you two been talking about?" Mako's face turned a darker shade of red which only added to the joy Kashi was currently feeling. "I was just talking about your daughter's choice in underwear while she informed me about the service you did me," Kashi answered honestly.

"Well, that explains her face what about you alley boy. How exactly did where we discovered you? Kashi didn't have the answer to that question, and it showed when his smiling face changed into one of deep thought. "You can't remember the last few days huh, do get too deep in thought. Wouldn't exactly be the first time someone's come through with amnesia." Barazō placed a hand on Kashi's shoulder while flashing a big smile, "how about we get some food in you?"

Kashi spent the next thirty minutes getting dressed in a simple white t-shirt and black sweatpants. "Thanks for providing me with clothes Mrs. Sukuyo was it?" Kashi was currently taking to the matriarch of the Mankanshoku household. "Oh, you can just call me Sukuyo. The Mrs. part makes me sound like an old lady." Sukuyo is a slim woman with shoulder-length brown hair currently wearing a set of light-blue pajamas. "I hope everyone's enjoying their nutritious breakfasts!" Everyone sat around a small brown table staring hungrily at plates of pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs.

Kashi was sandwiched between Mako and her younger brother Matarō who had been staring at him all morning. "You gotta problem with me little man?" Kashi said with a mouth full of syrup-covered food. "Are you gonna pay my dad for the work he did and leave? Or are you and Mako going to keep staring at each other?"Sukuyo nearly choked on her eggs as Mako blushed and Barazō let out a bellowing laugh. Kashi joined in Barazō's laughter. "I respect you little man, but yes I'll be leaving soon right after breakfast to be exact."

And that he did, Kashi finished his plate rinsed it off, and made his way out the door and into the open street. "I wonder if that weird screen was real?" As soon as he said the word screen the quest marker appeared in front of his eyes, except it was different this time around.
