Black Rock Island

" Uh, I think it was about two weeks." After she muttered those few words she held her breath for a few seconds, waiting for him to explode. But to her surprise he stayed calm,

and composed and there was no sign of those blue flames in his eyes.

He set still quizzing her about the time she lived by herself. " Babe, did you lose weight, when you started living by yourself?"

" Heck yeah she did, she had to buy all new clothes." Lexi informed him, before she could even get a word out of her mouth.

His attention drifted over towards Lexi , then back to her, " how much weight do you think she lost ?" He ask Lexi curiously

" She never was very big but she was closer to normal size ,I would say she probably lost a good ten pounds. When she lived with her mom and dad. Her mom made her eat."Lexi told him ,before their food arrived.

" Alex , you might be on to something here,

She just may have a natural feeding cycle. And until that cycle is breached she won't feel hungry , her body may not even be processing the food she eats." He said, before picking up a taco handing it over to her. Her eyes widened and a big smile graced her face ," Does this mean you're going to stop feeding me?" She excitedly chirped with a sparkling smile.

" No, You just get to eat finger foods by yourself." He uttered, and the smile on her face immediately fell . But she was glad he let her eat the taco by herself. And now she has a plan in mind to stop him from shoving food into her mouth , she decided to only eat finger foods from now own. Even if she don't gain weight she will still get to feed herself.

After their meal they all walked back to the library to read the old Journals that was written before the time of their grandparents wedding date. There was only four of the journals left for them to read. As they scanned the pages , Lexi found something she thought might be of some use .

She pulled her head up speaking to the others " Listen to this, she said, before she started reading the entry in the Journal out loud for them.

I met the most intriguing man today, at my cousin Trudy's soirée , I think he is the most handsome man I have ever seen. His hair is dark as coal and his eyes are hazel green. But he was positively brazenly bold, before the dinner was served he was already trying to hold my hand. I guess we will see how things turn out tomorrow ,he said he would be dropping by again to pay a visit to my cousin William . It seems him and William attended the same school together .And have been good friends for a long while now.]

She pulled her eyes up to look at her husband and her brother -in-law noticing the description of the man in the Journal could be used to decried both of them.

"I'm not a detective or anything but I'm guessing this handsome man with the dark hair and hazel eyes she is writing about in her Journal is your grandfather.

This could mean your grandmother was someplace close to the Castle considering the modes of transportation back in those days. And considering he was aquatinted with and attended school with her cousin William."

Sweetheart , flip back a page or two and see if she mentioned anything about going on a trip. Because I'm sure you're right about the man she is talking about being grandfather. The date of that entry was written was only about eight months before they got married. Extravagant Royal wedding preparations took a long time back in those days . "

Starting from the entry she had just read out loud she started reading back through all the pages finding a vague entry in the book , she read it out loud for everyone.

Aunt Lucy was certainly surprised this morning when she opened the door to find that we had decided to pop in for a visit.]

"Alex this just sounds like they went across town , I've read the previous pages and I didn't see anything about packing luggage or riding on ,or in any mode of travel , not even a horse and buggy." She said, and Alex shrugged his shoulders encouraging her to keep reading

" sweetheart, the Journal you're reading

may mention sending out wedding invitations and other things that are involved in planning a wedding. Some of those entries could give clues watch closely for stuff like that "

Everyone kept reading the Journals in their hands and not one of the entries ever mentioned a city or town not even a country. Suddenly Lexi pulled her head back up , excitedly shouting, " someone get that old gift log of the table, I think I found something."She didn't even read the full entry this time she was so excited

Father was certainly generous to give me part of my own Kingdom for mine and

Henry's wedding present."

Jackson walked down to the end off the table retrieving the old gift log bringing it back to where everyone was waiting to see if it mentioned the place that was gifted to their grandmother by her father.

Jackson scanned the pages speed reading each entry in the book, bringing his eyes up to look at Alex he mummers "a ten thousand acre island called Black Rock Island. taking out his phone he typed in the name of the Island searching through the Eddington estate properties.
