After an hour of chase, with them running and the other party chasing after the two of them, the two finally sighed in relief when they lost their pursuers.

The pursuers did not stop pursuing them but instead they can't because the two had already crossed the borders of Qi and if the other party insisted on chasing after them on Qi's borders, they may cause war to the two countries when the Qi soldiers sees Zhou soldiers in Qi borders.

If they get surrounded in the Qi borders then there will only be one end for them, death. They don't need to die that early, there is still a chance to catch Lanling King in the future.

Not catching Lanling King that day might be a wasted opportunity but staying alive is the better choice because as long as one is still alive there is still hope.

"Looks like I can't send you back home today as promised but don't you worry, I never break my promises. If I can't send you today I can just send you tomorrow." The masked man said.

"You, you lied to me when you told me your name, right? Back then, they were calling you "Lanling King". As I know, Lanling King's name is not Su but Changgong, Gao Changgong. Am I right?" Huan Mingyun pouted because she got deceived by the handsome general of Qi, but even so she was not angry because this is her idol! She was fortunate enough to meet her idol!

"Are you afraid?" The masked man asked.

"Afraid? Why would I be afraid, its not like you eat humans." Huan Mingyun huffed and rolled her eyes.

Hearing her answer, the masked man burst into a fit of laughter as he did not expect that the young woman in front of him would have such big guts.

Normally, the people of Zhou would fear him even just by hearing his name. He was after all the famed "Demon General" of Qi that kill Zhou people without batting an eye. But to see such a young "fragile" woman telling him that she was not afraid of him, not even one bit without even batting her eyelids was quite a refreshment.

"Why are you laughing, don't you dare laugh at me!" Huan Mingyun was pissed of by being laughed at by her idol but knowing that he meant no harm, Huan Mingyun playfully pinch the famed "Demon General's" side.

"Xiao Yun, s-stop it, it hurts! I surrender okay, I apologize, I won't laugh anymore." The masked man said playing along with her. Even though her pinch only felt like an ant biting him, still the masked man asked for the young lady's forgiveness also knowing that she is just being playful with him.

If others saw the famed "Demon General" of Qi being playful with a woman and laughing care freely, they would surely doubt their eyes and think that their General is possessed or it's just a delusion. Their General never laughed so care freely before in front of strangers and most of all together with a woman, the world must be coming to an end for that to happen!

"I accept your apology but why did you lie to me? I did not even lie to you, I gave you my real name so how can you deceive me like this?!" Huan Mingyun burst not letting the matter go.

"Xiao Yun, I never lied to you. My name is really Su, Changgong is only my courtesy name." Gao Changgong said helpless to the furious kittens tantrum.

Hearing what he said, Huan Mingyun suddenly remembered from her History lesson that "Su" was truly Gao Changgong's given name.

Huan Mingyun shyly scratch her cheeks when she remembered that certain memory but still she did not admit her mistake.

"Hmp! But still you lied about your identity, where are we going anyway?" Huan Mingyun said changing the topic.

"We're going to my camp." Gao Changgong said, he secretly laughed when he saw her embarrassed face but still too stubborn to admit it.

"Camp? Qi's military camp? Why?" Huan Mingyun asked surprised.

"We have no choice, we had already entered Qi's borders and its already nightfall we must find a safe place to rest. Since we are almost near camp, let's just rest there for the night. Zhou's soldiers must still be loitering around the borders, I'll send you back in the morning." Gao Changgong said as they made their way to the camp.

"Vice Commander, General is back!" A soldier in silver armor reported to the man sitting inside his tent reading some memorials.

The Vice Commander or more well known as Ande Wang had handsome features but his looks was not on par with Gao Changgong. He has green hair and emerald eyes, paired with his handsome features he looked like an elf on one of the fairy tale stories.

Hearing the foot soldiers report, his emerald eyes twinkled with light when he heard that his 4th brother was back.

"4th brother is back?!" Ande Wang beamed happily as he quickly stood up. "Lead the way!"

"4th brother!" Ande Wang beamed when he saw his 4th brother's back but he suddenly stop on his track when he saw a veiled woman beside his brother.

"5th brother." Gao Changgong greeted when he saw Ande Wang appeared behind him.

"4th brother, you were only gone for awhile but you already brought a beauty home. Beautiful Lady, my name is Gao Yanzong, Prince of Ande please to make your acquaintance." Gao Yanzong reached for Huan Mingyun's hand but before he can do so, she already distanced herself from him.

"5th brother, don't scare her. Xiao Yun, please excuse 5th brother's manners. Although he acts like this he is still a dependable and honest man, just overlook his "playful" manner." Gao Changgong explained as he secretly glared at Gao Yanzong to keep his act up.

"Its fine. Your brother is really a humorous person, Ande Wang, it is my pleasure to be your acquaintance." Huan Mingyun did an elegant courtesy not forgetting that she was already in the ancient times, historical dramas do paid off!

"Xiao Yun? 4th brother, this way of intimate calling... Is she by chance your hidden lov--" Before Gao Yanzong finished what he was about to say, Gao Changgong secretly elbowed him on his stomach not so gently.

Gao Yanzong who was a rabid gossiper when it came to his 4th brother's love life would never ever miss this once in a lifetime chance of a huge gossip, he would die of heartache if he will not be able to collect enough gossips to use to tease his 4th brother all year round.
