The three of them remained silent even as they walked several streets ahead.

These four people were part of the international organization called Black Bones Masked, and evidently, they were all evolvers. Meanwhile, the man in his thirties was also a powerful evolver, but he was injured, and his stamina was depleting. The four had a tacit understanding with each other, and they could bring their combat ability to the next level, making it possible to defeat the man in his thirties.
The man in his thirties, who was being besieged with a long knife, was already scarred and obviously could not support it any longer. Tang Kai said, "It seems you have learned to be smart. Even if you don't want to hand it over, I will take it by myself."

He then picked something from his chest, swallowed it, and finally grabbed a grenade before starting to run towards them while laughing.
"This is not good, everyone disperse!" Tang Kai shouted as he started running. He hated himself for having only two legs.
Suddenly, there was a loud explosion, and the world seemed to stop. The dust slowly faded, and arms and limbs were scattered everywhere.
While Tang Kai managed to survive, his right arm was shattered, and his feet were badly injured. He could barely breathe.
Only two people had survived without wounds, Fourth and Second. The man in his thirties had been focused on chasing Tang Kai, which had resulted in him being severely wounded. Third brother had managed to block the man and perished in the process.
Second hurriedly spoke, "Captain!"
"N-n-n-no, d-d-don't worry about me. Go and find the black metal, then send it quickly to Miss," he said weakly, staring seriously at Second.
"But Captain..."
"G-g-go. Their reinforcements may be arriving soon, and the police may intervene as fishermen," he said softly before his eyes slowly lost focus.
"Captain!" Second was stunned and howled in anguish.
"Second, we need to finish the task and bring back this to Miss. I don't want everyone's lives to become a waste because we are being emotional at the last moment!" Fourth said as he patted Second's shoulder before walking towards the ruins.
