As Xia Yue asked her assistant to complete the discharge procedure, Dr. Gao was in a heated argument with Dr. Su outside the room.
"We need to report the situation to the Director," Dr. Gao insisted.
"No, we need to inform the patient's family and ask for permission to examine the body. And don't forget that the other woman was a CEO of a big company!" Dr. Su replied angrily.
As they noticed the abnormality of Jiang Chen's body, they wondered how such a grave injury and accident could be restored in a healthy condition in just a few hours after the surgery.
Su Mei, as Jiang Chen's fiancé, knew the consequences if this news were to be announced outside the hospital. She was still the patient's fiancé, and how could she just allow it when she could prevent it?
Meanwhile, Gao Ming was excited as if he had won a million-dollar lottery. He quickly realized the benefits he could gain by reporting to the Director. He might be promoted as the chief surgeon in the hospital, or he could become the director of the surgery department. As he continued to think, he became more and more excited. He also thought that if the scientists found a strange situation inside the patient's body, he might receive a Nobel Prize or, at the very least, have his name included as a contributor to the discovery.
Su Mei saw Gao Ming's face light up as he got more excited. She knew what he was thinking, which is why she refused to report and ended up arguing with him.
"Su Mei, just think about it. Our names would go down in history if they found something unusual in his body. This is our only chance, and it was a heavenly gift from the gods. We need to grab it, or someone else might take the credit," he said excitedly, telling her about the glory they would receive in the future.
"No, I'm warning you. This goes against the ethics of our profession!" Su Mei replied with disgust.

"Xiao Yan, we can already discharge your brother right now," Yueyue sighed in relief and hugged the girl beside her.
"Really, Sister Yue? That was fast?"
"Of course, who am I?" She smugly raised her chin.
"What should we do now, Sister?"
"I already called someone and told them about the situation, and they will send an ambulance."
"Thank you, Sister." Xiao Yan looked at her face and expressed her gratitude.
"Don't thank me, Yanyan. The one who should be thanking here is me. If your brother hadn't timely pushed me away, I would be the one lying in that bed, and maybe I would have already died." She hugged her again and caressed her hair gently.
"Sister, when my brother wakes up, you should confess already." As she said that, she didn't know why, but she felt uncomfortable. Her brother should be hers alone, but she quickly extinguished that thought and became frightened like a bunny when she realized her thoughts were immoral.

"Luckily, your reaction was fast, or else he would have become a guinea pig."
