17 Chapter-17: It's test time! (Part-I)

After eating the pancakes completely, Naruto checked the time as he wanted to get to the test location on time. He was already a little late when he tried to leave earlier.

The clock displayed the time—9AM.

Time assigned was—6AM.

"...."

'....'

"...."

'....'

"Why the hell did you stall me so long?!!" Naruto said as he ran as fast as he could.

'What? Collecting the proper ingredients and cooking takes time and Kakashi has a reputation of not being on time, ever. I did my research, which you were supposed to do by the way.' Kazuya said.

This made Naruto slow down a little bit but he was already at the location.

'Haah...Haah...Haah...You should've told me that previously.' Naruto said as he jogged a bit slower.

Apparently Sasuke and Sakura had already arrived at the location on time.

"Where were you Idiot Naruto?!" Sakura asked.

She was quite disgruntled because the fact that she was really weak was thrown into her face, yesterday.

She wanted to release that anger and shame on someone but she found no one to release it on. She didn't have a good relation with her best friend because she wanted to pursue Sasuke, Her mom and dad weren't dealing with her being annoying or she would be kicked out of her house or get a good beating and she didn't have any good friends to confide in either.

"Yeah whatever. I was eating. Anyway, where is sensei?" Naruto asked as he shrugged her off.

In his eyes, her current value was zero. She was weak.

According to voice-kun's teachings, weak don't have rights if you're strong enough. Unless the person is your loved one, you shouldn't care much and Naruto clearly didn't see her as a love interest anymore.

He didn't want anyone's acknowledgement other than Voice-kun now.

The truth about his father and Kyuubi weighed heavily on his heart and he couldn't find a reason to care for someone like her.

"Why did you eat the breakfast? Did I hit you a little too hard in the head yesterday?" Sasuke asked with a arrogant smirk.

"You talk a lot of sh*t for someone I wiped the floor with yesterday." Naruto responded back.

Sasuke now had a tick mark on his head but he didn't loose his cool.

"Tch! You just got lucky! Anyway, Sensei didn't arrive here yet." Sasuke said as he sat down under a tree.

"So it's true that he is often late." Naruto mumbled as he moved around the field.

He wanted to check the surroundings to be a little more prepared.

Naruto then climbed the tree where Sasuke was sitting and chose to relax a bit. All he could do now was to relax himself mentally and not mess up the test.

Sakura was still really angry that Naruto ignored her but couldn't release her frustration right now. She chose to suppress it. Wasting her energy will make her even hungry.

(A/N: She was skipping 2 meals at the time if you didn't know. Last night's Dinner + Today's breakfast. This is canon.)

(One and a half hour later)

After some time Kakashi arrived.

"Yo, folks. How's the morning?" Kakashi said as he gave his signature eye smile.

"Kinda bad since you decided to arrive so late." Sasuke said as he got up.

"WHERE WERE YOU?!" Sakura screamed like a banshee.

Kakashi didn't mind her and continued to answer Sasuke.

"Kind of sassy today, aren't we? Well, Whatever. So here is..." Kakashi said as he rummaged through his bag.

"...An alarm clock!" Kakashi said as he put it down and began setting it up.

After setting the alarm clock up, he started saying, "This clock is set for 12:00 PM. You need to defeat me by taking these two bells from me. Only two of you can pass the exam. If you cannot do that, you will be tied to that log over there and I will eat the food right in front of you. Oh yeah, make sure to come at me with the intention to kill because you cannot take these bells from me otherwise." Kakashi said.

Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto just ran away in different direction already and were starting to preparing now, by themselves.

Naruto was starting to plan a bit but was interrupted by Kazuya.

'Let me take the control, Naruto. I am in mood of fighting today.' Kazuya said.

'heh?! Why was I getting so stressed out then?!' Naruto exclaimed as if someone threw cold water at him.

'Stress is a good way to improve sometimes. I wouldn't want to hinder your growth as a ninja.' Kazuya said as he took over the control.

'Tch! This is really unfair. At least let me watch!' Naruto said from the inside.

'Sure, Why not.' Kazuya said as he cracked his knuckles.

(Kazuya POV)

It's time to give my very best.

I may not be the best but I can at least know where I stand right now. I need to get some sort of reference for my strength.

I created a shadow clone and sent it to confront Kakashi.

I created a few shadow clones and planted them around the trees and hid them properly.

I then created a shadow clone to confront Kakashi but it was dealt with in a few minutes.

As soon as he blasted open, I created a few more clones and rushed out with them. I could only confront him now.

I threw a couple of clones at him who were equipped with kunai. He dealt with them pretty swiftly and I arrived near him.

My clones engaged him in a taijutsu battle while my other clones occasionally threw other clones towards him equipped with Kunai.

The real me still didn't engage him at all. I didn't want to lose this advantage I had going in for me, right now.

This was getting him a little exhausted now because he was being overwhelmed by the clones.

I could see that his breathing pattern was getting irregular a few times.

I decided to finally start focusing on the bell now.

I threw a clone towards him who was again equipped with a Kunai. He casually threw a shuriken towards and the clones just poofed away but this time his eyes were wide open.

It had a explosion tag attached to itself!

"What th-" Kakashi said as the explosion tag blew up.

After the explosion was done, I checked his location, only to find a wooden log.

He was still quite fast for me right now but I did somewhat perceive him.

""Kawarimi huh...Well that was sort disappointing. Wouldn't you agree, Kakashi?"" All the clones said simultaneously.

"It sure was Naruto." Kakashi said who was standing upside down on a tree with the Icha-Icha violence in his hands.

"I know. I know. But did you know..." I said as one of the clones I left in the trees grabbed him from behind.

"...Sometimes you need to check surroundings more carefully." a few clones said as they threw a henged Naruto as a fuma shuriken towards him and we all moved away from the scene simultaneously.

Some clones that henged into the fuma shuriken were to target the bells and the others were supposed to do some damage to him.

I knew that this wasn't nearly enough to take him down.

Not unless I have a lot of speed and power in the same situation.

I could slowly see his moving pattern but that wouldn't get me anywhere without appropriate reflexes and combat experience. My current situation wasn't looking too good. His experience still helped him a lot in the fight.

All I could do was land a big scratch on his left arm. It would've been somewhat okay if I had some poison but I didn't learn much about it.

I had a lot of experience against Sasuke as most fights that Naruto had were initiated and done by me but defeating Kakashi was not in my power currently.

I quietly started dispelling some clones one by one and found location of Sasuke who was waiting in the bushes nearby and started to ambush Kakashi. He also set up a few traps around him to help him a bit more.

I just observed the the fight through the clones and when it was done, I dispelled them to get the memories. Meanwhile, I sat down and tried recovering a bit.

'Pfft! HAHAHAHAHAHA! It turns out Sasuke was poked into his butt by Kakashi-sensei and fell into the river! HAhahahahaha!' Naruto laughed from inside.

'Shut up, Naruto. It would've been you or me if I weren't careful enough.' I said.

'But still it wasn't me and he got a good Kancho in the butt. It was also so perfect! Just around the rim of the butthole. Just where it hurts a lot.' Naruto said as he pouted a bit.

'My god why do you even know such useless information? Shut up for now and let me see what I can do. I have a test to pass. If I fail then you do too.' I said as I began moving towards Sasuke.

'Yeah okay. Good luck.' Naruto said as his voice faded away.

After coming to the river, I sent 2 shadow clones inside the river.

One rescued Sasuke and snuck away while the other henged into Sasuke and distracted Kakashi for a bit by running away in a random direction away from us.

"You got done it pretty hard eh?" I asked.

"Cough...Yeah...Cough...He is strong, you idiot." Sasuke said as coughed some water because he accidentally inhaled some water.

"I think I know what is the purpose of this test. He wants to test our team work. There is no way fresh genins can defeat him. Not unless pigs start flying." I said.

"When did you start flying Naruto?" Sasuke asked as he chuckled a bit.

"Shut the f*ck up. Anyway, I suggest we whip out a good plan along with Sakura so that we can prove our worth as a team." I said as I was undoing my remaining clones in the forest to search for Sakura's location.

"Wait why do we need to include Sakura? She is sort of useless in the situation, isn't she?" Sasuke asked.

"She is part of our tea.....Scratch that she got captured by Kakashi and she is currently tied up to a tree, upside down. I put the bar too high, I suppose." I said as I started to discuss a plan with Sasuke.

I need to try my best.

Defeating a jonin isn't something I can do right now but I still need to try. This will help me mature as a ninja.
