31 Chapter 30: Trap PT 2

We all sat quietly by the small fire Cody made since no one could figure out how to open the secret door, despite the clues Aimee and Genevieve got it was still pointless.

"I am starving what did you guys bring?"

Max and Genevieve both looked at me like I have grown two horns 'I mean what, I am human for God sake they can't starve me here when they brought me here in the first place. Food is my best friend and I don't joke with it.

"We are in the middle of nowhere trying to figure how we're gonna get outta here and all you think is food?" Shawn asked.

"Shut up Shawn." I turned my back at him clutching my empty stomach. There was no real food we could find in this strange place, thanks to Genevieve and her dumb crew we had nothing to eat. But later Cody offered to look for meat with Shawn and Max while we the ladies looked around for any fruit and supplies we could find which sounds like a great plan but Shawn was becoming difficult to work with and an ass.

"Shawn you better cooperate this time, I don't have time to mess around because I am deadly starving." I warned his egoistic ass.

"You don't tell me what to do." He snapped coolly at me, very weird and unnatural. Wait, is he trying to kill someone?.

"Yeah I just did." I challenged his words. "And I am going to eat you if you don't agree now." I added. I studied him very well, Shawn hates it when he is been challenged especially by a female it make him look more less of a Man, well from my point of view.

I also noticed everyone had become quiet, I checked around me to see them giving me weird faces.

"Seriously eat him? Right in front of us?" Max asked in a what in the world tone.

"Eww." Cody said.

"Gross." Aimee said.

"Look guys you know what I meant right?, I wasn't referring to whatever dirty thoughts going through your minds I was talking about food, really food." Now he made me look like a pervert.

"I don't know but at least say it in a more private place, we don't want to see anything here." Cody waved his hands in front of his face.

Gosh, damn idiots!

"You're a case Jazlyn I wonder how your parents raised you."

"Hey, hey don't bring my parents into this, I am more better than your sick demented cock filled life, understand?" I snapped back.

"Enough with all the cussing and insults Jayn." Aimee warned me.

I stared face to face with Shawn, vein lines showed on his temple, I could guess he was boiling hot in anger, if possible I could see the steam coming out of his ears. Yes I have been the worst part of me but I never try to level or bring it down upon someone that's not nice. The wealthy status is not very important to me but I respect people and their status nolo matter their condition.

"We better get moving now so we can find somewhere to lie." Max announced finally breaking our staring contest.

Shaw said nothing after that and left with the remaining guys 'dumb boggie prick'

An hour after Genevieve, Aimee and I were back to the same spot we left waiting for the guys. We managed to find some good fruits, for a boring land it does still have some useful edible fruits.

Aimee broke a green fruit that looks like a watermelon and mould a small pot out of, I asked her what was the use and she explained in details things I could not understand. I was shocked Genevieve gave a helping hand in making various types of pots and knitting a sack out of dead leaves and flexible sticks to carry the things we got.

We set up a burning fire while we waited for the guys to come. "So Aimee I got to ask, why are we carrying fruit looking pots?"

"It a traditional tree that brings out a strong fruit which can be carved into utensils and so on."

"I will agree because I don't understand and I don't want to hear about the history." I picked up an apple and tossed it into the air. We heard some shuffle behind us and the guys came out from the trees.

"Finally some food."

"I thought you boys got lost, I would have come to find you." Genevieve said to them.

"Never call me a boy." Shawn pointed at Genevieve.

"You're a boy!" He turned around looking for the source of the voice and his eyes set to me.

"What did you just say?"

"You heard me."

He moved to get me but was stopped by Max. "Easy Man don't let her get to you, women can cause you madness so push it back and don't live on it."

"Excuse me?"

"Where are the things you could find?" Genevieve cuts in.

"Here." Shawn and I broke eye contact and went to sit. After eating some fish and fruits we found we all chose our spot where we would sleep. Max told us to sleep while he kept watch.

"Are you a robot?" I asked him.

"No." He replied.

"How would you stay up all night and we sleep, that's not normal."

"Because I can, please leave me alone."

"Won't you get tired or fall asleep?"

"Cody and I will take shifts."

"But don't you consider it strange?"

"Jazlyn go and sleep or I'll call Shawn to do it."

"Easy there man friend, I was not asking for a fight." I left him and went to my spot, thank God Shawn wasn't near me this time.

I spread my blanket on the grass and laid on my bag pack as a pillow, I guess I was the only one ready for a nap and I took off sleeping.
