4 C3- Beyond pissed!!!

#Jazlyn p.o.v#

I woke up under something but I kinda felt off about it, no-- my bed feels cold and hard. That's not normal, not what I remembered laying on. Hang on a second!, last night I remembered clearly, that I arranged my bed and mom's bed. Then why is my bed hard all of a sudden, and why is it so tight with darkness?

Bad thoughts and feelings began to fill my mind, can't trouble stay out of my life in this new country. I needed to freak out, this is very important, freak out and scream-- after you've asked yourself the important question. 'have I really been kidnapped?' I stretched my hands in front of me which didn't reach far 'okay I am, you can panic now'  I FREAKED OUT! Real bad, the thought of being kidnapped made my stomach crunch disturbingly.

"No… no… no… I can't be kidnapped! I am too flawless to be kidnapped." I said to no one in particular. "There has to be a way to get out!"

With my head pounding hard and my heart beating from fear, I did not think of a better way to escape but to do the first thing anyone in my position would have done. 'SCREAMED BLOODY HELL!' almost instantly I heard fast footsteps approaching from a corner. Then a door creaked open and I mentally braced myself for whatever might happen, and whoever it is, I will not go down without a fight.

The door hit a wall and I heard a familiar voice.

"Roxy are you okay, where are you? I heard you scream." Mom asked me from the room, I can't get to her because I am stuck under something. She sounded worried but not freaked out, I can't tell if it was because of my screams or because we are in an unknown location probably with a psychopath. Wait, how did mom get here anyway, her safety and the baby's safety are very important than anything even me!

"Mom what are you doing here please go before they find you." I tried to warn her.

"What! Who is coming for me and- " She cut herself. " Roxy are you on drugs?" She asked.

"No, mom this is not a joke, go save yourself!" I urged her, wishing she will just listen to me and stop being stubborn like I am.

"Jazlyn have you been drinking? When did that happen? Remember I have forbidden you from alcohol, are you crazy!"

"Mom-"

" I think I should call a therapist." I heard mom's heavy footsteps stomping around.

"Mom I think we have been deceived, and they kidnapped us." I tried again but there was a long pause, and the stomping sound instantly stopped. My heart began to race, fearing something bad had happened to her and my baby brother. I felt great terror and I tried getting out of this trap hole I am locked in.

"Do you know where you are?" She asked but it sounded like she was mocking me. I was starting to think I'm nuts but when I thought who is pregnant then I can blame her mood swings. I AM NOT CRAZY!!!

"We have been kidnapped and I am trapped somewhere but I can't get out. Please mom you need to understand- you need to run now!" I replied still freaking out of my mind. Then she laughed, she laughed hard and I could not help but frown.

'what's so funny?'

"So your bed is the mighty kidnapper? Did it kidnap you? And from what?" She teased.

'my bed? Do mood swings involve teasing remarks when in danger?'

"I don't get it mom why are you laughing, this is a life and death situation." I try to remind her.

"Honey you are under your bed and no one is kidnapping you." She confessed and then the lights came on.

I shield my eyes from the brightness and looked side by side. Behold what I thought was my hard bed is indeed the floor and the weight holding me down was my freaking BED!, how ironic is that! I was actually under my bed the whole time. Well done stupid brain, that explains why mom was laughing like a maniac.

I really wonder how long I got to embarrass myself all the time. I slowly crawled out and sat on the floor feeling embarrassed and foolish.

"Mom." I whined. "I really thought I was kidnapped."

"Yeah under your bed." She threw back.

I really think being pregnant has made my very composed, sweet hospitable mother surprisingly bitchy and annoying. She could sass you in many ways I am sure you can't recover from. There are some times she goes too far when her mood switches and you cry.

'How did I even get under my bed? I am not a sleepwalker and I don't think I rolled myself under my bed that's impossible'

A knock from below interrupted our moment.

"I'll go check it out."

"Alight." I replied. Mom still had the huge grin on her lips when she left but I wasn't bothered by it anymore. I stood up to freshen up for my first shopping at a grocery shop. With what little stuff I had my appearance still rocked anytime.

When I carried my bag and house keys, I head straight to the living area hoping mom was already done talking, but to my confused state, mom was still at the door with someone? Hopefully, she finishes talking so I can talk to her.

To pass the time I decided to give myself a nice house tour starting from here. I so much love this house that words or expressions can't define it. Every detail is beyond beautiful, I can only imagine the faces of the people who built it knowing they can't live in it. I can tell elegance from the big luxurious kitchen to the fancy living room and my big bedroom painted with light purple, though my parent bed is fancier I like mine better.

The decorations in my room were modern created, they consist of two colors  'purple and gray' a combination I like. While my bed, mph- my bed is a queen-size shaped canopy, nice sheets, and colors on the sides. The best part is the balcony demarcated by a sliding door. After my imaginary tour to my bedroom, I lazily strolled out of our new kitchen into the backyard to show you guys my wonderful, wonderful relaxation palace.

Our backyard is something you will never forget. There is a big elongated swimming pool in the middle of the garden and it is surrounded with decorative beautiful canopies for resting and shielding the sun from your skin. I am sure I have used an hour or more to tour around the house, plus my imaginations. So I took a glance from the sliding door to see that mom is still at the door.

'I wonder what's taking her so long'

I went back inside to see what's delaying mom this long. She isn't supposed to stand for a long time in her condition. I took a little peek above her shoulder without her knowledge and saw a woman engaging mom in a serious unnecessary conversation.

'Does this neighbor have to talk this much? I mean who wakes up early in the morning to talk for an hour?'

I decided to pass time again by walking around so I can have a good view of this place in case we decide to move out again. From what I could see it is a friendly environment for a family.

At last, the door shuts making me turn around to see my mom's face flushed. She looked beyond pissed and I feared asking her why, because I have gotten the best of her wrath before.
