Portgas D. Naruto

Naruto slowly began to remove his head from his brother's chest and fell back into a sitting position as tears began to flow freely down his face once again. Though unlike before, these were not tears of sadness but tears of joy.

'I can hear it! His heartbeat! He's alive!' Naruto screamed out in his mind

Jinbei ran over to the group of men and dropped to a knee to inspect Luffy's unconscious body before lifting him up into his arms, the fishman then looked over to inspect the downed form of Ace and the Yonko sitting next to his body. "N-Naruto I-I'm so sorry f-for your loss, A-Ace. . ." Jinbei began with a lowered head as Naruto interrupted him

"Don't weep, he's okay. A-Ace is still alive." He finished as Jinbei's eyes went wide

He stared shocked to the core before speaking once more, "A-Ace. . ." Was all he managed to get out

The background raged with gun fire and explosions still until a certain laugh began to drown it all out. "Zehahahahahaha!" Voiced a man from the other side of the battlefield who had just now shown his face

"The Blackbeard Pirates!" A marine voiced out

Marco gritted his teeth, "Teach!" He spoke with venom

"Zehahahaha! I'm glad I'm present at your death! Pops!" Blackbeard yelled out to the older Whitebeard as the older of the two gripped his staff

"Teach. . ." Whitebeard spoke softly to himself as he sent an attack towards the pirate

A fight then broke out between the Blackbeard Pirates and Whitebeard who would not let anyone interfere.

"But I thought A-Ace was killed?" Jinbei asked the Yonko

Naruto looked at him with a smile even though he had blood flowing down his cheeks from his mouth, "He'll be okay Jinbei, but I need your help. Please, get them both out of here and back out to the sea." Jinbei just nodded as he took ahold of the two brothers

"W-what are you going to do?" Jinbei asked the Yonko who got back to his feet

He smiled once again, "I'm going to make sure that the Whitebeard pirates will be able to get out of here." He told him

Jinbei nodded again as he took them both and began to run off towards the sea. Naruto wiped some of the blood from his face as he watched as the group ran off, he then turned his attention over to Whitebeard who had Teach pinned on the ground.

"Stop it! I'm your son remember! Pops I'm your son!" Blackbeard proclaimed from his position as Whitebeard blasted him with the power of the Gura Gura no mi

The attack sent a shockwave throughout the battlefield as it looked to be that Blackbeard was to be reduced to a pulp. The older of the two released his grip and went back into a standing position as Blackbeard remained on the ground, panting heavily.

"He's almost dead!" A Pirate yelled out

"Kill him!" Another said

Whitebeard slowly began to walk over to the downed Teach, blood dripping down his chest and onto the ground as he walked. Edward Newgate then brought his arm back and was about to deliver the final blow, but as he was about to his Teach, the man had fired a gun into his gut.

"Kill him you guys!" Blackbeard ordered as each member of his crew took turns shooting and stabbing the great pirate repeatedly

The Whitebeard Pirates were all in shock at what just happened. "OLD MAN!" They all yelled out

The gun fire continued for a few more seconds until all that could be heard was the clicking of the firing pins on their guns. "I-is he dead?" Jesus Burges asked the crew as all of them kept a close watch on Whitebeard

Shiryu nodded, "You could push him over with one finger if you wanted." He educated Burges

"It's not you. . ." Whitebeard began as Blackbeard flinched, with the rest of the Blackbeard Pirates raising their weapons up once again

Blackbeard went wide-eyed, "Y-You're still alive!?" He exclaimed with pure shock

Through heavy breathing Whitebeard continued, "The man Roger is waiting for. . . at the very least Teach. . .is not you." He began

"There has been a will. . .passed down from ancient times. . .and soon. . .someone will appear. . . carrying all of those decades of history on his back. . .and challenge the world to a fight." He continued between heavy breathes

Whitebeard then looked up to look at Sengoku, "Sengoku. . .you guys in the World Government. . .all fear that immense battle engulfing the whole world. . .that will eventually come. I don't care myself. . .but as soon as someone finds that great treasure. . .the entire world will be turned upside down." The words made Sengoku gasped and as he mentioned his words about the One Piece, Whitebeard looked over and made eye contact with his fellow Yonko Naruto who was running towards them before looking back

"And someone will find it. That day will definitely come sooner or later." Whitebeard then laughed a little to himself as Sengoku glared heavily at the old pirate

Whitebeard then started to inhale and as he spoke all fighting on the battlefield ceased. "THE ONE PIECE!"

Everyone froze in place as they all looked on to see what the old man had to say.

"IS REAL!" He finished

Everyone with the exception of a certain crew was blown away that Whitebeard had just confirmed the existence of the One Piece. "Damn you!" Sengoku yelled

Whitebeard then remained still as the rest of his life had left him, "POPS!" The Whitebeard pirates yelled out as their leader had died

"He is wrong!" Everyone turned to see Sengoku yelling out to all

"There is no such thing as the One Piece! Roger was a fool and a drunk! He found nothing! Whitebeard is no different, he chose to be a fool as well and believe a drunkard's story!" The Fleet Admiral explained as the Whitebeard Pirates cried because of their leader's death and felt a burning hatred that Sengoku would insult Whitebeard

Naruto on the other hand was livid, no one was to insult Roger around his eldest son, it was a taboo that Sengoku had just broken and Naruto was about to do something about it until he saw the Blackbeard Pirates put a tarp over Whitebeard's body and Teach walked under it.

'I'll deal with Sengoku later but now I'm going after Teach! After what he did to Ace! And I won't let him defile the body of the old man!' Naruto thought to himself as he continued running towards the Blackbeard Pirates

It took him a few seconds but he finally reached them and each of them put up their guard. "Sorry Portgas! No peeking until the captain is done!" Laffitte told the Yonko with a laugh

"I never thought we'd get the chance to kill another Yonko in the same day!" Burges yelled out, overconfident after Whitebeard's death

Van Auger then brought his rifle forth, "Any further and your head will be blown off Portgas!" He told the Yonko

Naruto chuckled a little, "I may be weak right now but I still have more then enough energy to get rid of you clowns. Almighty Push!" Naruto said as the Blackbeard Pirates were blasted backwards and skidded on the stone before coming to a stop just before the huge ravine that Whitebeard made

All that remained in front of Naruto was the form of Whitebeard which still had the tarp over it with Blackbeard inside. The Yonko then rushed it to confront the man. As he pulled back the tarp and got inside he immediately punched Teach in the side of the face, sending him towards the ground as he dropped something. Naruto turned back to look at the object he dropped before Teach jumped back at Naruto.

"No it's mine!" Blackbeard screeched out as he nullified Naruto's ability to allow things to faze through him and the Yonko then took a punch to the gut courtesy of Blackbeard

The Yonko was quick to recover as he then charged haki into his fist and punched the other Logia user in the side of the head and sent him skipping away on the floor. He then turned his attention back to what Teach dropped and was shocked to see it. "Was he really planning to do that to himself?" Naruto spoke to himself out loud

"Was he really planning to eat a second Devil-Fruit!?" Naruto continued, though no one heard his voice

Naruto then bent over and picked it up in his hand and studied the pear-shaped fruit. "What to do with this thing?" He questioned to himself

"I can't leave it here. No way I'm selling this thing away, it's the strongest Paramecia." He continued to say

A smile then creeped its way over Naruto's face, "Well I guess there's one thing I can do."

After a few minutes all of the Blackbeard Pirates got over their injuries and began to stand up once again. As they did so the tarp over Whitebeard's body was pulled off by one Portgas D. Naruto, who was still facing Whitebeard, paying his silent respects.

He then turned around to face Sengoku. "You're the one who was wrong Sengoku!" Naruto declared

"What are you on about brat!" Sengoku retorted with anger as Naruto took a breath

"Whitebeard was right! The One Piece does exist! It resides on the last island! Laugh-Tale!" Naruto yelled out as everyone went silent with awe as some of the Whitebeard pirates were silently praising the other Yonko for standing up for Whitebeard's reputation

The Yonko grinned, "My father Gol D. Roger found the One Piece!" He then laughed a bit to himself. 'It's time the world know.' He thought before he got ready to speak once again.

". . .And so have I!"

At this declaration the world almost stopped.

In Sabaody. . .

Everyone watching the live feed of the Marineford conflict was blown away and just looking at the screen with wide eyes. The Supernova's all had some sort of frown on their face as they found out that someone had beaten them to the One Piece.

"P-Portgas D. Naruto. . .has found the One Piece?!" A reporter yelled

"Someone get me Big News Morgans on the line!" Another screamed

"Quickly write that down!" Yet another yelled out

"Does this make him the new Pirate King!?" Another reporter asked to the screaming crowd of people

"Two generations of Pirates Kings from the same family!? It's unbelievable!" Came yet another scream

As this was all going on Rayleigh sat in the back and smiled, "You sure do know how to make a flashy reveal fishcake." He spoke as Shakky laughed beside him

Eustass Kid turned away from the screen and began to walk back to his ship, a few short seconds later Killer ran after him. "What's out plan now Kid?" Killer asked his captain

The red-head smiled, "We're going to go and kill Portgas D. Naruto and become the next King of the Pirates."

Back at Marineford. . .

"Impossible!" A Marine yelled out

"I-I never thought anyone could do it!" This time a Pirate said

Further away a particular clown was furious, "Of course Portgas would find it! He is Captain Roger's son after all! I guess we'll just have to steal the One Piece from him from right under his nose!" Buggy exclaimed

"That's our fearless captain, taking on the New Pirate King!" The prisoners from Impel Down chorused from behind the clown

"Don't call him that you fools!" Buggy yelled back to them

Back over to where Naruto was he got ready to speak once again. "But I don't care for it! You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything there in one place, now you just have to find it!"

As he finished echoing the words of Roger the entire world seemed to be flipped on its head like Whitebeard said. Everyone all over the world began to cheer and pirates began to understand that their dream to be the Pirate King is still very much alive.

"Portgas!" Sengoku yelled out in anger as he transformed into his buddha form and jumped towards the man with an attack at the ready

Naruto smiled, "About time we got a rematch!" The new Pirate King yelled out as he brought his fish back towards his body

"That stance! It's like Pop's" Marco expressed from his position on the opposite side of the ravine

Naruto then extended his arm and made contact with Sengoku's giant fist. Once his arm was fully extended, cracks began to form in the air where Naruto's fist hit as everyone recognized the attack from Naruto as the power of the Gura Gura no mi.

"H-how could he get the power of a second Devil-Fruit!" Marco questioned as the rest of the Whitebeard Pirates had a similar reaction

"S-such amazing power!" A random Marine yelled out

Blackbeard bit his tongue as he sat on the cold stone ground. "Damn you Portgas D. Naruto! That power could have been mine!"

"What's the plan now Captain!" Burges yelled over to Blackbeard

"We get out of here!" Teach responded as the Blackbeard Pirates got ready to take their leave

Sengoku struggled to contain the power of the Gura Gura no mi and was forced backwards. The younger man then brought both of his fists to his opposite shoulders and then extended both arms outwards at a quick pace. As expected, cracks formed in the air once again as the ground beneath began to shake and then burst outwards as many Marines were shot in every direction.

Naruto was about to use another attack as some commotion was heard not to far away. Looking over Naruto couldn't help but crack a small smile as he saw a group of men standing behind another who had stopped the magma fist of Akainu.

"So Red-Haired Shanks is here too eh?" The finder of the One Piece said to no one but himself

Naruto say a pink haired Marine fall backwards unconscious as Shanks continued his clash with Akainu. "Good job, you young Navy soldier." He simply said, keeping his sword drawn

The man then holstered his sword before bending down and picking up Luffy's straw hat. "I'm here to end this war." He continued to say

Garp cringed, "It's Red-Hair, the one who put Luffy on his path to become a pirate! Damn him!" The old man yelled out

Blackbeard looked back and smiled, "Zehahahaha! There he is!"

No one dare move as Shanks walked down the battlefield. As he walked he began to speak, "The more and more you all fight, then more and more damage will be sustained by both sides."

"Those who wish to fight more! Bring it on! We'll be your opponents!" Shanks continued as all of his top subordinates backed him up

He then stared at Blackbeard, "What do you think Teach? I mean Blackbeard." He asked the bloodied man

"Zehahaha! You're looking more handsome with the scars eh Red-Haired!" Blackbeard retorted

Yasopp was quick to raise his rifle at Blackbeard, an action which Van Auger mimicked. "Zehahaha! As much as I want to fight you Red-Haired, we're not ready for you yet! Let's get out of here!"

The Blackbeard Pirates then left the battlefield and the only people left near Shanks were the Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Naruto. "Sengoku, let us handle the burial of Whitebeard and stop this war." Shanks told the older man

The Fleet Admiral brought a hand to his chin and closed his eyes. He then snapped his eyes open, "Because it's you Red-Haired I'll allow it."

He then went on to speak again, "I, THE FLEET ADMIRAL OF THE MARINES, DECLARE THIS WAR OVER!" Sengoku's voice boomed

"But Fleet Admiral-" One of the Vice Admirals tried to speak up but was dismissed

"Go and treat the injured, I'll take responsibility for this." Sengoku responded as the Vice Admirals obeyed

Shanks nodded his head, "Thank you." He then looked over to Naruto. "Are you willing to stop fighting as well Portgas?" Shanks asked him

Naruto smiled, "Yes I'll leave without a fight. I did what I came to do."

Naruto's eyes then were drawn to the hat that Shanks had on him. "Where did you get that hat Red-Hair?" Naruto asked as Shanks looked at his belt to where the hat was

The man then grabbed that hat with his arm and extended it forward to his fellow Yonko. "Oh Luffy dropped it when he left, I'm not ready to take this back yet. Can you give it back to him for me?" Shanks asked as Naruto nodded, the man then handed Naruto the hat

"You know Red-Hair, you better not make my big sis cry by staying away from her for too long." Naruto told Shanks who then blushed a bit and widened his eyes

"How do you know about that!?" He asked his fellow Yonko

Naruto chuckled, "She tells me everything when I visit! Anyway see ya later, I'm leaving!" Naruto said to everyone in a very nonchalant way as he began to walk towards the Pro Jackson.

"Fleet Admiral! We can't just let him leave!" Another one of the Vice Admirals voiced up

Sengoku sighed, "As much as it pains me to do so we have no other choice. He has the power of Whitebeard and his own fruit's abilities, he is too powerful for even me to take him on anymore. But rest assured when the time comes Portgas D. Naruto will be brought to justice." The Fleet Admiral told him

Naruto then made it to the Oro Jackson and got aboard. Once he made it to the deck of the ship he was greeted by a hug from Lucy and a swift punch on top of the head. "You scared us you know!" Lucy scolded as Naruto rubbed the back of his head

He then looked over her to see Russ sitting beside Kiji who was laying down, both of them bandaged up from head to toe. "How's the big guy doing?" Naruto asked as he walked over to them

"He'll live. This son of a gun managed to not only break like 5 of that asshole Akainu's ribs but he also put a dent in that idiots skull!" Russ told his captain as he laughed a little

Naruto smiled, "That's good he's alright. Russ and Lucy we're leaving." The Captain of the Whirlpool Pirates explained

"Where too?" Lucy asked him

Naruto dug into his pocket before he pulled out a piece of paper that was almost burnt to a crisp but was still intact none the less and was slowly regrowing. "We're going to find out where Jinbei took Ace and Luffy." Naruto told them as they both nodded

The crew then casted off from Marineford and started to sail once again on the Grandline, they were calmly sailing through Paradise following the direction of Ace's vivre card until one of the transponder snails they had aboard the ship began to ring.

Budabudabudabudabuda

Lucy then picked it up. "Hello?" Instantly her face lit up with joy as she heard the voice on the other end

Naruto got up from his chair on the deck and walked over to see who it was and Russ peeked his head out behind his captain. "Who is it Lucy?" She smiled

"It's Kinshiki!" Naruto laughed as he walked closer to the snail to say hi as Russ just snorted

"Se you mean to tell me that's it's just th' perv?" Russ asked as he deflated a little bit

Instantly the snail began to bounce around. "I don't know what you mean by perv you foolish want to be sniper!" Kinshiki yelled out from the other end of the transponder snail

Instantly Russ' head snapped back around as he walked over. "You forget ur place idiot! I'm one of the cap'n's top commanders! What're you again the chore boy?" Russ asked him in a dismissive tone

"Enough enough all ready." Lucy told the two as she sighed

Russ scoffed, "Hai Lucy-chan!" Kinshiki spoke out with passion

Naruto then snatched the transponder snail from Lucy, "So whatta ya need Kinshiki!?" Naruto asked his swordsman

"Well we actually called to tell you we're on our way. We should be with you guys within the hour Naruto-taichou." Kinshiki informed as Naruto cracked a smile

"That's very good news Kinshiki!" The Captain of the Whirlpool Pirates exclaimed

Russ snorted, "You'd think."

After that comment the two then erupted into another argument which both Naruto and Lucy just decided to let be and just enjoyed the two going at it as they laughed. Kiji was still unconscious below deck but the noise still reached his ears as a small smile grew across the fishman's face as he slept.

An hour or so later. . .

The Great Wave had arrived right next to the Oro Jackson and all of Naruto's crew was once again reunited. "Yuri is that you!" Naruto exclaimed as he ran up to the giant human which had grown enough to where he was only a few metres shorter then what Whitebeard was

The silent man nodded with a smile as he gave his captain a thumbs up before scooping him up into a bone crushing hug. "Yeah it's good to see you two buddy!" The Yonko managed to get out as his lung became compressed

"So how's the New World been lately?" Lucy asked Rose as RIM danced around on her shoulder

Rose smiled, "It's been okay, these new Supernovas I think they're are being called are causing a lot of ruckus. I think we had a few of them say that they were gunning to take down Naruto." The lime green haired woman told the navigator

Lucy laughed, "Well it'll be really hard to get through Kiji, Russ, and Kinshiki let alone get through Naruto!"

"Oi Captain. Are there any comfy beds on this ship, I need to get some sleep." Gem asked his captain as Pedro grew annoyed

"You've done nothing but sleep since Lucy left to go find the captain months ago!" Pedro explained as Lucy shot Gem a very sweet look

She said in an almost too nice voice, "Gem I hope we're not going to have the same problem we had before with you sleeping all the time."

The eater of the Bomu Bomu no mi stiffened up, "Of course not!" He reassured

"You always lie Gem!" Reeve yelled as he set foot on the Oro Jackson

Naruto smiled brightly, "Kid! How've you been!"

Reeve crossed his arms as he put on a smirk, "It's not kid anymore! I'm a man now!" Reeve explained

"Oh do tell sweetheart!" Lucy told him as some of the crew began to snicker

He grinned, "I got my first chest hair today!" He boasted proudly as he pulled down his shirt to reveal a hair on the top of his chest

The whole crew minus Kiji peered in for a closer look and saw the small hair blow away in the wind. Just then the whole crew erupted into laughter and some even started rolling around on the deck holding their stomachs they were laughing so hard.

"H-hey! Shut up you guys!" Reeve yelled out embarrassed as Kiji made his way to the door leading to the deck and watched the whole ordeal with a smile
