2 Where it all started

Chapter 1

It was a simple normal day for the lazy 35 year old virgin Meshac. He is your very average gamer and a very lazy person. His income comes from online betting from his favorite online game Dota2. Betting real money and ingame items to a trusted online gaming betting site. His average income is enought to cover his daily and montly expenses this includes his food and utilities. Sometimes when he hits the big win in betting he treat himself with gadgets, some clothes and delicious foods. September 10, 2020, the corona virus is still on the outbreak, although there is a vaccine it is not yet approved for the public use coz its still in the testing period. Due to this all persons, families and individual are advise to stay home and only go out to buy personal necessities.

It all favor Meshac, who lives his life in the very chaotic basement of his parents house. Even though he lives on his parents house, he is not a very big burden due to him helping with the expenses in the house, not a lot but enough to keep his mother and father on nagging him every once in a while about him making a family and having his own life.

It not that he's a neet or nerd or an otaku. In fact he has a above average I.Q. that made him choose this life style. His motto "why work hard when you can have it easy". He had girlfriends in his youth, why still a virgin?, well that was a choice of being a good guy and respecting girls thought. But we all know girls like badboys not the good straight boy specially when they are in their teen stage. He have a long time relationship with a girl almost 5 years but due to them being apart while working the girl cheated on him and got pregnant. That is where he snapped and cursed all the girls in the world.

Meshac: Fuck! Who needs girls when I have the internet and the good ol' Mary Palmer(his left hand, he is a leftie and artistic but lazy so he didn't excel in anything)

The on thing you can praise about him is that he is a fast learner but gets bored easily then gets lazy afterwards and go back to his gaming lifestyle. He isn't even a high level gamer. His mmr in dota is 4k (ranking in dota) this is considered as a normal cancerous player in the community. It doesn't bother him though. He likes having fun I the game playing and mocking other players even good at trashtalking. His favorite hero is Goblin techies where in he just plant bomb all around the map waiting for unsuspecting enemy heroes on the map to be killed. That angered most players both enemy and allies.

The world can considered him as the real embodiment of the term "jack of all traits, master of none" because of his fast learning and above average I.Q. in fact he is a all rounder. He can perform slmost anything from playing all kinds of musical intrument if he study it, work on busted house hold electronics, can do construction from building from scratch to finishing, he can sing, not very well but can tune with the notes in the music, he can do photoshop, has knowledge in agriculture, laws, economics, even medical knowledge that made him learn acupuncture,he can weld, he is also a undergrad in maritine engineering. Have a year in military training etc. Etc

All of this he started learning but did not apply in his life or dot not finished the others due to him losing the excitement and interest. That is why here he is in the basement of thier house playing and most of the time browsing the internet. He has a smoking addiction thanks to a small window and a ventilation in the basement, he did not die of suffocation. Yet.

While browsing the net, he a news pop from his vission in the monitor from suggested videos in youtube. It is abour a solar flare from the sun a rather large at that one that will hit tomorrow on earth. The radiation from that is still managable on earth's perspective that it will only have a slightly high uv radi tion that will cause a rather acceptable rise in heat on the surface. After watching the video, he then go back to watching his daily dota wtf videos finding some inspiration how to fuck up enemies with the dota game.

The day ended as ussual, playing games, betting, watching, eating, shitting, bathing, the ussual and he went to bed early at 11:30 pm (to early for gamers like him).

September 11.

His birthday. This date is shitty for him he doesn't even celebrated it. If not for his p rent cooking something special for this day he will just forget that this day is his birthday. But something on this day that will change his life and change his view as he knows it.

While still sleeping inside his basement something entered his room through the wall a lightning ball. (Search google for that, to lazy to explain what a lightning ball is.) Then the scheduled solar flair hits the earth. Bzzzzt bzzzt bzzzt a electric spark sounded in the room waking up Meshac. He immediately get up thinking some wiring short for some reason. But what appeared in his view was a ball of light floating in mid air and beginning to shine more brightly pulse after pulse as if trying to create a light that can blind him.

Meshac: what the fuck is that!

Shocked, awed, dazzled, fear, confusion. Mixed feeling that he can explain struck him raising all the hair in his body. (yes even his pubic hair lol).

The ball of light stared to change as if it was streching diagonally. Meshac can't take his eyes off it as if there is a hypnotizing effect with the pulsing and stretching. Every pulse it changes its height and stops stretching when it reaches the height of 1.5 meters then it zooms out to the corner of the room as if it was sucked by that corner wall. Then afrer latching itself to the wall it began to have a sucking force that attrack small things to it, then bigger things after that Meshac started to feel he is being sucked to that bright corner. He immediately try run towards the door but the sucking force is to strong and catches him not leaving a room to resist.

Swoooooosh. Then there is darkness. He fainted.
