5 The portal

Chapter 4

Exited in my discovery I run fast towards the mound pile of shinning crystal and started to pile them in the blanket I've used to carry the dirt and rocks and stopped after some time due to remembering the unexplainable strength that I have durine the chipping the path. It struck me again 11 hours of non-stop working without drinking or eating WTF. Wait. What the hell happened there.

I picked up a shinning crystal and inpect it again after some time I felt it again. The feeling of something entering my hand and go towards my body again. I closed my eyes and focus deeply on my senses. After a minute or so there it is again I absorbed it again. And again. And again. So if I focus the flow of absorption increases. So I focus more and the flow of absortions flows rapidly from the crystal to my hand and finally to mu body.

After some time the flow of energy stop. I opened my eyes and wonder what happend. There the crystal im holding looses its glow. And I felt a strength that is very refreshing as if my body is brand new. I am filled with unexplainable power that I can use for labor. Suprised, I decided to absorb one more so I pick another and went to my bed sitting in a lotus position and focussing on absortion.

Time quickly passed and the crystal list its glow again and again I felt my strength increased. I tried to jump as high as I can then.... "fuck!" I shouted as I almost hit the ceiling. I jumped 4 meters up. "Fuck even an Olympic jumper can jump that easily"

Amazed by the newly strength I gain I went back to the crystal piles and grab 2 crystal one on each hand then go back to mt bed and rest in a lotus position and focus this time I intend to focus more on where the energy goes after it went to my body. After closing my eyes anf focusing my senses to the flow of energy the flow started first in my hand then my arms then to my shoulder then my chest it accumulate there for sometime and goes finally to my stomach. Then it disappeared.

Curiously wondering why it disappeared in my stomach I focus more. Apparently my focus also strengthen due to this foreign power that I am absorbing and for sometime I noticed a peculiar thing. There is somekind of space in my stomach like a whirlpool that is sucking all the absorbed energy from the crystal. Focusing all my attention to it it looks like a whirlpool from the oceans sucking all the liquid like gas energy into a black hole disappearing after.

"Fuck! Is thos the dantian some online novels are taliing about?!" I have read a fair share of novels online my perspnal favorite is Ark, Legendary moonlight sculptor, god and devil world, for its game like system. And some chinese novel that includes the dantian. "Shit! This is really happening!" Thoughts of many possibilities entered my mind as I fantasize about the future cultivation I will go through with this dantian shit. "Ha ha ha ha. I am npe officially a cultivator. I wonder if my life will extend?"

After absorbing the two crystal fully I stop and stood up and grab a cigarette pack and lighter. " I need to calm down first" after lighting a cigarette and puffing some he inhale deeply and have a long exhale. "Whoooo. Thats what I need to relaxed."even though I know the bad side effects of smoking I still did it because of the soothing effect for the brain. That is my relaxant and sometimes weed my favorite relaxant aff all. Thankfully I don't do cocaine, meth or heroine. That shit really fucks you up.

After finished smoking the stick I put down the cigarette and went back ti pile the Crystals in the bed sheet and bring it near the portal. My heaven sent portal. Picking up the large pile I am suprise that I can lift this much with one hand. Well maybe the the additional strength from absorbing this crystal. Letting go of the sheet with the Crystals near the portal a change visible to the naked eye happend to the portal. It is glowing more while stretching again diagonally now it is 4 inches. I saw some kind of bright gas connecting the Crystals and the portal in the middle of the corner of the cave. It began to stretch at an amazing speed.

Now while waiting for the portal to absorbs all the pile that I put bellow it. I also started to absorb crystals my self one for each hand and I sit near the pile that I mined earlier. After some time the plain crystal that I have absorbed is piling beside the pile of glowing crystals.

Hours gone by I did not feel any kind of exhaustion at all and looked at the portal it is now approximately 1 meter tall theoretically I can enter now and go back inside but go agaist it for sometime and continue to absorb the remaining crystals beside me till it is all finised up.

After finishing the absorption of the rest of the crystals I started to prepare to enter the portal once more. After entering the portal I am once again in my basement I look at the time in the wall mounted clock and it is 8. Not suprising all the that the fact that I was not called or investigated by my parents upstairs because they are used to my habbit of not leaving the basement for days straight. So I decided to went up to check if anything is out the ordinary when I was away in that cave.

Opening the door of the basement and entering the kitchen, yes my basement entrance is in the kitchen. There are 2 rooms upstairs but 1 is for my parents the other is for my younger sister who is 16 at the moment. Actually there are 3 siblings in my family im the oldest at 35 the nest is 26 my brother who is currently working abroad. And the youngest is my not so cute sister. Well actually she's cute but not for me coz she is a pain in the ass literally. She always bothers me and ask for money because my parents dont give her enough to make a shopping spree of her liking. Being a responsible good elder brother, I give her some if I have spare or when I hit jackpot on my bets.

Back to the kitchen where I am standing right now observing the surroundings if there are changes. So far.... nothing. The arrangement is the ussual. So I went backdown the basement. And again think of my future to do list.
