2 Welcome to the dorm

Suddenly everyone in the crowd came back to their senses, and started yelling about how a dragon isn't even a real animal. "How is this fair? He can't have a mythical creature soul. It has to be a mistake!" someone in the crowd yelled out.

"Everyone calm down!" the principal yelled. The crowd instantly grew quiet and looked up at the principal with questioning looks. "I have never seen an awakened beast being a mythical creature, but that doesn't mean that Alex is any different from other awakens. At this school we admire the strong so if Alex wants to survive it will be using his own skill not relying on his beast transformations." The principal had a serious look on his face as he led Alex off the stage and back to the students' seats.

After Alex's awakening not many people paid attention to the rest of the students that went up to try and awaken. Instead all the people in the crowd were focused on Alex and many people were wondering what Alex's transformations would look like. All Alex could think about is how much he wanted to start learning about transformations so that he could look as cool as the dragon in his soul.

Soon the awakening ceremony was completed and the spectators left the school grounds. The students were given their dorm numbers and were sent off to put their belongings in the dorms. "207. Were is 207?" Alex asked the teacher that had been standing at the gate before the ceremony.

"207 is to your left for about five minutes." The teacher responded.

"Thanks!" Alex yelled as he ran to find his dorm. After finding dorm number 207 Alex opened the door and found that no one was in the dorm yet. "No one is here yet? Oh! That's right I ran here and everyone else was walking so they will take more time to get to the dorms. Alex through his bag on the bed in the corner of the dorm and then he went to explore the dorm. The dorm had one large bathroom with three showers. There was three small bunk beds in the main room and a small table in the middle of the main room. There was a small back room for storage. Overall Alex thought the dorms were cozy and very good to live in for his school years.

Alex heard the creak of the door as a short kid walked into the dorm. Alex got up from his bed and introduced himself. "My name is Alex. What is your name?" Alex said while shaking the kid's hand.

"My name is Jack. You're the person who awakened a dragon, right?" Jack said as he pushed up his glasses.

"That's right! Isn't it awesome! I wonder what my transformations will look like! I hope they look super cool and are powerful." Alex said with a look of excitement blossoming on his face.

*Creak* "Hello. Are you guys My dorm mates? My name is Gregory." A tall muscular teen said after entering the dorm.

"My name is Alex." Alex introduced himself to the new member of the dorm.

"My name is Jack." Jack also introduced himself to their new dorm mate.

"What animals did you guys awaken?" Gregory asked.

Jack was the first to respond. "I awoke a bullfrog. Alex is the person who awoke the dragon."

"Really! You're the dragon soul! You're famous!" Gregory, suddenly surprised, yelled. After a minute of calming down Gregory spoke again. "I awoke a grizzly bear. It seems like this dorm is going to be pretty strong. Maybe we can win the yearly tournament."

"What's the yearly tournament?" Alex asked.

"You don't know about the tournament? It is the largest event of the year where each dorm competes against each other in battle. The winning team gets rewards for the next year." Jack said in a serious tone.

"That sounds awesome!" Looking excited Alex started mumbling about learning as fast as he could. As Alex was thinking about classes the door to the dorm opened once again. In stepped a skinny kid with long arms and a mischievous smile.

"Hello my name is Sylvester. I heard you talking about the tournament and I think that we have a chance as long as I am here. I awoke a black mamba so as long as I fight for our team no one can defeat us." Sylvester said through a smirk.

"A black mamba is strong but I awoke a bear so I think I can beat you." Gregory said while flexing his muscular arms.

"And Alex over there is the one who awoke a dragon so he could easily beat both of you." Jack said with a smile.

"He is the one who awoke the dragon! Then there is no way I would be able to beat him in a fight." Sylvester said with a defeated tone.

Suddenly the door opened once again and all the people in the room turned to see a shadowy figure in the door way.

"So you are the other one who awoke a mythical creature." said the shadow in a sinister voice.
