2. Jonathan Cross

the B-rank city of Nova Azur is a lively place with a population of 5 000 000 people and many pokemons, the city is divided by ranks, the more closer you are in the heart of the city the more important your status is, and the commoners are located further away in the middle, this is because aura concentration is much higher in the middle part of the city, that is why the city was built in this place in the first place

in the place between the nobility and commoners there is a huge warehouse that belong to the Cross Family a fallen nobility, the cross family is one of the lowest nobility but failed to maintained their rank, when the war between the Nova Azur City and Crimson Sky city all the experts of the cross family perish and since then the remaining family members have scattered or joined the other families for protection.

the warehouse is the only remaining possession of the Cross family, and the only member of family left is the young master and his name is Jonathan Cross, he was only 7 when he was left alone and became independent, he sold all his family property besides the warehouse even his mansion

He has awaken the aura when he was six and he was tutored by all his family expert that is why, he knows all he had to know in training oneself.

inside the dimly lit warehouse is all kinds of modern gym equipments, a tv, a large refrigerator and a 3 bookshelf that was full of books that content is related in pokemon

and in the middle of the place is a huge metal pillar with a diameter of 1 meter and a height of 2 meter, the pillar is pure silver that shine in metallic sheen and in front of that is a young man 18 years of age, with black hair that extends until his shoulder, he was slightly mascular and not overly burly like a body builder and he was tall

*Bang* *Bang* * Bang*

the young man was kicking and punching the pillar while his body was covered with silvery aura, this is a proof that he has metal attribute, his arms and feet has 20 kg weights respectively, he was a 1 star aura user so training with 20 kg weights are not that challenging for him

*Bang* * breath heavily*

after the last punch in the pillar he stop

"...this is so hard my body is not that used in using weights in 4× gravity" the young man was Jonathan Cross, he was a Unique Specialist that awaken the special ability of Gravity

" but its not like i can trained with weights on when i was a child, i can't even moved in an increased of gravity because i was so fat" said Jonathan while reminiscing about the past

" well I'm hungry better eat first" said jonathan as he stand up and walk toward the refrigerator, he also open the tv so he can hear the news

[ breaking news a new species was found in the glacial mountain, it was speculated as a legendary pokemon by the investigators and they think it was the reason why the glacial mountain was always covered in a strong blizzards that made it harsh for other pokemon to live in, it was now named articuno by the one who found it ]

Jonathan was looking at the news while eating and thinking that it must be awesome to have a contract with a legendary pokemon, after he ate he decided to read books that he still haven't finished reading yet

and after that he close the book which left him in a pondering look

" so tomorrow is the day that i will be able to have a pokemon is it" mumbled Jonathan as he remembered a very important decision, its not like he can't form a contract when he was young but he postponed it until today because he plan to have a steel type pokemon starter, and Steel type is very rare in Nova Azur and Flying type pokemon is more abundant in this place because of the nature of natural aura of the city

it also become a common sense in the world that pokemon with the same attributes as you was the most perfect partner as the harmony of elements can even further the acceleration of pokemon growth

and because of how rare the Steel type it became monopolized by the nobility, he actually plan to find a steel type in the wild but it was cancelled because of the news he got, that a bunch of steel types was now being sold at the largest store in town, they were able to find a cave were they live and was able to convinced them to be sold in exchange of them being able to choose who can buy them

selling a pokemon was approved and not that hated by the pokemon, it was because while at the store a pokemon don't need to hunt and food was being delivered to them and they were also being taken care off and most of all they can meet more trainer this way that they can contract, if a person or even a nobility was spotted to sell pokemon illegally and forced a pokemon to be sold will be sentenced to death

but its not like law have stopped many stupid people to do stupid things, there are gangs and mafia that illegally sell pokemon, cruel experimentation and even try to capture some trainers to brainwashed them
