3 Battle at Amity Square 3

"Look like it over for the champions" stated James, with how powerful the last attack was, it doesn't see any chance of Garchomp getting up again.

"Geez, that Mewtwo is scary," stated Meowth in a nervous voice.

"Of course, she will lose. Poe is too good looking to be beaten" Jessie agreed while fangirling.

"This was truly impressing. Poe takes advantage of Giga Impact after effect of not letting the user move after it has been used and launches a powerful and effective attack against Garchomp," Brock expresses his opinion in amazement.

"Poor Garchomp," said Dawn, looking at the wounding form of Garchomp.

Oh man, that was an awesome battle!" declared Ash.

Paul, on the other hand, looks at the battle while clenching his fist, 'Damn...'

Seeing the brawl so far, he not even sure how he would do against that Mewtwo, no matter what plan he comes up with, it seems useless in the face of true power.

"Garchomp, get up. I know you want to continue and not give up without even being able to get any hit in."

Cynthia encourages her pokemon to stand up, ignoring all the chatter and comment on how this battle is already over. Because she knows her pokemon best and this bit of hit isn't enough to keep it

down.

Mewtwo's feet slowly touch the ground and gaze toward Garchomp with its trainer, like they waiting for something to happen.

With its trainer encouragement, Garchomp ever slowly got up, much to everyone's surprise.

"Very good, Garchomp" Cynthia smile at her pokemon.

Then all of a sudden. As if both stones on Cynthia and Garchomp saw their bond, they light up.

"What?..." mutter Cynthia, not knowing why those stones suddenly starting to radiance brightly.

The light energy from the two stone than connect to each other and completely cover Garchomp's body and the glowing body of Garchomp than begins to take on a different shape.

When the spectrum dies down, Garchomp was in a new form than its previous one.

It grows in size and several of its features become more angular, including its head and shoulders.

A row of five tooth-like spikes sprouts from each side of its abdomen and red spikes grow from its knees. The claws and fins on its arms morph together to form sharp, red blades, looking like scythes.

"What just happen, how did Garchomp do that?" Dawn question confusely.

"I don't know but Garchomp looks even stronger than before" replied Ash with both fists pump and an excited look on his face.

"I'm not sure if I'm right but I think it might be because of those stones Poe give Cynthia. After the stones light up, Garchomp change form" Brock voice them on his assumption.

Seeing the stones light up and hearing Brock, Paul desire to have those stone for himself even if he not sure what they do exactly but one that thing for sure. He wants it if it can give him more power.

"Garr..."

Garchomp, feel full of energy again, inspect its new body. it likes it winglike fins more than the scythes but it could work with this.

Cynthia was thinking of how this whole thing exactly came about and was about to ask Poe but stop what she seems him clapping his hand.

"Congratulations, you two have achieved beyond evolution," said Poe, "Now, are you ready to start again?"

"Yes," Cynthia nod with a smile. she would save the questions for later. Now, she got a battle to finish.

"Garchomp, start off with Dragon Rush"

Following Cynthia's command, Mega Garchomp jump into the air as the appendages on its head glow blue. It then releases blue, dragon-shaped energy that covers its body and then shot down toward Mewtwo.

"Mewtwo, Protect" this time, Mewtwo crosses its arms together and forms a pink barrier, surrounding its body.

With the increase in strength, Mega Garchomp ram into the barrier, moving it backward.

'amazing' Cynthia was astounded of how powerful Garchomp got, that it can push back a move like Protect.

Immediately after Mewtwo's barrier went down, Cynthia gives her pokemon its command.

"Garchomp. Dragon Claw and don't let it have time for a counter" without wasting time like it trainer said, Mega Garchomp's scythe of hands glow light-green and start attacking its opponent with it

With no time to use any move, Mewtwo was forced into closed corner fighting, which is not its forte.

After a while of trading blows, Mega Garchomp finally lands a hit and makes Mewtwo fall for the first time since the battle.

With Mewtwo on the laying on the ground, this is the best chance of making her plan work so Cynthing didn't wast a moment and call out.

"Garchomp, use Sandstorm!"

Garchomp swings its arms around, creating wind around Mewtwo.

The wind then picks up dirt and quickly grows bigger, turning into tornado made out of sands that encircles Mewtwo who just got up, trapping the pokemon inside with no way out.

"We're not done yet. Now, Garchomp, use Flamethrower" said Cynthia, "And follow it up with Stone Edge."

Mega Garchomp opens its mouth and releases a stream of hot flame at the tornado, completely covered in fire. After that, Mega Garchomp crosses its arms and two rings of glowing light blue rocks appear and spin around its body. After the light fade on the rocks, Mega Garchomp shoots it all toward the flaming tornado.

"Look at that combo, I don't think any pokemon can come out of that unharmed no matter how powerful it is," said Dawn in awe.

"Yeah, I agreed. With that combo, she more than deserves the champion title" added Brock.

"So this is what true battle look like" stated Ash with a grin but he was sweating on the inside.

"Incredible..." mutter Paul.

"She went all out on that one, glad I'm not the one battling her," said James and sigh in relief.

"Yeah, no kidding. I wouldn't want to be the pokemon inside that thing" said Meowth with fear writing all over its face.

"Oh no, my prince gonna lose" weep Jessie with her hands together in front of her chest.

'Wow... that is something' thought Taiyo while looking at the flaming, sand whirlwind in front of it without any worry.

'Guess it time.'

Inside the tornado was filled with flaming rocks flying everywhere and on the center was Mewtwo with a barrier around it. But it didn't help much as Mewtwo has multiple scratches and burn marks on its body from the holes on the barrier, where the flaming rocks can fly in and hit Mewtwo.

Just when Protect was about to run out, Mewtwo hears Poe shout.

"Mewtwo, mega evolve and use Psystrike!"

While the crowd was intensely watching the still active flaming tornado, it suddenly explodes in a huge black smoke that spread all over the place, reaching even to where they are.

"Everyone, alight?" asked Brock while coughing between breath as the smoke was dying down.

"Yeah, we okey" his female companion was the first to answer.

"Look!" Ash shouted while pointing his finger, getting everyone's attention and to look it where he pointing.

What they see was Mewtwo floating just above the ground, alone and in a new form.

Mewtwo is now, smaller and lighter, losing its long tail and the tube behind its neck.

However, it grows a long, purple appendage with a curled tip from the back of its head that is similar to its previous form's tail. On its head, it has two pointed, backward-curving spikes and a half-ring structure connecting to the base of each and crossing over the top of its head, with empty space inside. Its eyes are now red and slightly larger.

The digits on its hands and feet are now purple and more bulbous, and the middle toe is longer than the others. A bumpy ridge similar to a sternum replaces the breastplate structure on its chest.

Mega Mewtwo Y moves its head around, searching for its opponent. When Mega Mewtwo Y got of the Tornado by destroying it, Mega Garchomp was nowhere to be found.

"Garchomp, Dargon Rush."

Hearing Cynthia commends, both Poe and Mega Mewtwo Y look up to see if Garchomp was high in the air but there was nothing there.

Then it struck Poe. If Mega Garchomp is not in the air, there could only be one place.

"Mewtwo, move away now!"

But his warning came too later as Mega Garchomp shot up from within the ground while covering in blue, dragon-shaped energy and hit Mega Mewtwo Y right in the chest, sending it toward the sky.

"Garchomp, follow after it and send it back down with Dargon Claw!"

Mega Garchomp flies up and pass its opponent. Garchomp's blades glow light-green and struck Mega Mewtwo Y when it got close, send its plummeting toward the earth again.

'This it is...' thought Cynthia excitedly. If the next attack hit, she would win this battle.

"Give it everything you got. Garchomp, Giga Impact!"

Mega Garchomp body becomes surrounded in a purple aura with yellow stripes of aura spiraling around the purple aura and then Mega Garchomp dives down after the falling Mega Mewtwo Y.

"It looks like Cynthia gonna win," said Dawn.

"That was brilliant, the flaming tornado combo was just distraction for this moment!" exclaimed Brock, he was amazed by how Cynthia come up with those plans.

Cynthia looked at the scene of her pokemon about to hit Mega Mewtwo Y with a smile but what she heard next make the smile on her face disappear.

"Mewtwo, Teleport"

Mega Mewtwo Y's body glows white and then vanish, only to reappear, floating in the air while Garchomp slams into the earth and immobile.

"Mewtwo. finish this with Aura Sphere, rapid-fire."

Mega Mewtwo Y forms blue balls of energy in both hands and throws them at the helpless Mega Garchomp on the ground. Bombing the champion's pokemon with Aura Sphere, one after another.

When the onslaught end, Garchomp was back in its normal form and out cold.
