Back to the real world

After checking his status, a screen popped up in front of Xavier:

"Do you want to exit the tower or keep on exploring?"

Without any hesitation, Xavier selected the latter option.

With 6 days left, he set three goals for himself:

Defeat all the NPCs in Viridian Forest.

Find hidden items.

Try to reach level 13 for Nidoran and level 15 for Mankey.

Determined to make the most of his time in the tower, Xavier embarked on his quest, eager to face new challenges and strengthen his team.

After healing Nidoran at the Pokémon Center, Xavier headed straight to the Poké Mart and purchased 15 potions, 10 antidotes, 3 Poké Balls, and 4 Parlyz Heals for 6900 pokecoins, leaving him with 14,050 pokecoins.

He then made his way towards Viridian Forest, located north of Viridian City. After an hour of walking, he finally reached the entrance of the forest.

Xavier had thought he would quickly reach the forest, but the reality was different compared to the Pokémon world as it took him nearly an hour.

As he entered the forest, he was greeted by large trees and a lush green surrounding, with several bug Pokémon roaming around.

He called out Nidoran and ventured deeper into the forest, using Insight on many Pokémon to see if any of them caught his interest. However, after searching for more than 5 hours, he was dismayed to find no Pokémon that piqued his interest.

The only positive outcome was that Nidoran had finally reached level 10. Xavier decided not to train Mankey that day and planned to do it tomorrow. He left the forest to avoid getting lost and went straight to the Pokémon Center. As usual, he booked a room and left his Pokémon for treatment.

In the following days, Xavier continued with his usual routine - training his Pokémon, challenging NPCs, and returning before nightfall. After four days, Nidoran reached level 13, and Mankey reached level 15. He had also defeated all the NPCs in the Viridian Forest.

With only two days left, Xavier decided to focus on finding hidden items. He started talking to NPCs, hoping that some of them would offer him items like in the Pokémon games. He also used his inspect ability while walking around, constantly on the lookout for hidden items.

He kept searching diligently until the last day and managed to find two Potions and one Antidote. Though it wasn't a huge haul, Xavier was content with his findings as it was better than finding nothing at all.

Suddenly, a voice resounded, "10 days are completed. Returning back to the real world!"

Xavier felt a sharp pain in his head, and when he regained his senses, he found himself back in his room.
