"Swish....." and then we arrived.
That feeling you get when you get pulled into a different dimension, the feeling of not moving in any direction such as right, left, back, or front, the feeling of dizziness, and the sensation of absolute eagerness to maintain balance, all those combined into one is what I felt in that one-tenth of a second when teleported.
Though the dizziness still exists even after a few seconds. I then closed my eyes to get the feeling of steadiness and then calmed down a bit to get rid of uneasiness.
"If this is your first time then it's normal to feel out of place, so all of you can take a breath while sitting in your places," said the teleporter.
After hearing him, I realized that there was a seat behind me. Then I looked around to see everyone feeling the same as I did, at least the majority of them.
"You guys stay here until everyone arrives. In five minutes a guide will arrive to inform you about picking your choice of starters. After that, you will register your details with your starter," he said and disappeared in an instant.
Although I heard him, my mind is still a bit shaly after that teleportation. I closed my eyes to get rid of this weird sensation of not having sensory perception. My eyes seem a bit blurry and my hearing is a bit odd. I instinctively activated my eyes for a second without realizing it and then deactivated them immediately before someone notices, I suddenly realized everything seemed fine.
'Hmm, so I can use my power for this too?'
"Swish..."
With no warning, another batch of students arrived.....

5 minutes later:
A knight in complete armor walked in, he had headgear so I couldn't see his face. He looked strong and wide, but he was on the shorter side of a normal Knight. He took out a paper and started reading,
"Ok, let's see.... 9 from Nuvema, 6 from Accumula, 10 from Striaton, 4 from the Black city, 1 from Lacunosa, and finally 5 from the Royal capital Nacrena City. A total of 35, great we have everyone, we can start picking your starters...." he said looking around while doing his math.
"Now then!!! I will only repeat this once, so listen carefully. Everyone will be given a chance to choose a Green Grade Pokemon, as for the Pokemon being Low Green grade or Mid Green grade or high green grade will depend on your luck. Before I present you with the pokemon choices, there are some categories assigned that will explain further, do you guys got that?" he asked and paused till everyone nodded.
"So the usual categories are: students belonging to the Civilian or Knight families will be choosing Pokemon that do not have any evolutions, Students belonging to the Royal Knights or Baron or Viscount families will be choosing Pokemon that have one evolution. Rest will have the choice of choosing Pokemon with Two evolutions. Do you understand? Any questions?" he asked while some of us were stunned by the rules.
'Fuck' I thought raising my hand immediately, I did not know my category. The knight noticed my hand and signaled me to speak,
"Sir, I am a civilian but I belong to the Royal Knight family. I mean my brother is a Royal Knight with his Knighthood being hereditary. So do I follow the civilian rule or the Royal Knight rule?"
"You may choose as you prefer from any of the two categories. But keep in mind that Pokemon with no evolutions have the advantage of being racially supreme from the beginning while Pokemon with evolutions have higher chances of improving their talent grade. Both have their advantages, pick wisely," he advised.
"Thank you for the suggestion, Sir," I said.
No fucking way will I be picking a Pokemon with No evolutions!!!! it's not like they will give me a Lapras or Kangaskhan.
"Ok, Next!!! any more questions or queries?" he asked.
"Great..., as I see no hands raised, let's move on. There will be ten choices to pick from, we will present you with a Low Green, Mid Green, and a High Green grade Pokemon for each choice. So it all depends on your luck, the Pokemon names will be on the notice board in front of each room, you can take a look and then go in to pick, you have an hour to decide." he said pointing at three different rooms.
All of them started moving with excitement towards the pointed room's notice boards. I waited for a bit till everything subside. There is no need to rush as all the choices are available to everyone.
Hmmm, I will take a look at all the pokemon offered to see how different is the treatment between each category. I moved to the room that said 'Civilian and Knight category' on the nameplate above it.

'Holy Shit', these are way better than I expected. I thought I would see a Dunsparce or a Pachirusu.
Most of these are great picks, mainly Heatmor, Durant, Sawk, Throh, or Bouffalant.
Then I moved on to see what they are giving for the Count, Duke, and Prince/Princess categories.

Okay, I feel like laughing out loud, I take back the words I said for 'not so bad for the Civilians category.'
The treatment is like Heaven and Earth, every one of those Pokemon can turn into a beast after the final evolution. On the flip side, this is not a game so any pokemon can become a beast if trained well.
While I was thinking I heard a sudden question that startled me,
"You are probably thinking, the treatment is drastic between Civilians and Nobles right?"
I looked towards the speaker, he had short messy silver-white hair. He was about the same height as me, but everything about him looked regal. Although not very handsome, his face had a certain charm to it, maybe because of those crystal blue eyes.
Also, how did he know about what I was thinking?
"Don't worry, although I am a born psychic, I am not at the level where I can read your thoughts. It's just that your expression gave it away," he said in a very polite manner.
'Born Psychic?'
"Ohhh!! ok. But do I know you?" I said tilting my head sideways in confusion.
"No, it's just that I was curious. Every student here has either an expression that says 'I look down on you' or 'I am envious of the nobility'. But you on the other hand did not have either of those expressions. From start to finish, you were only curious about the pokemon offered," he said smiling.
"I am sorry, are you a stalker?" I asked making him stiffen. I mean why is he following and studying everyone's thoughts?
He suddenly smiled wider and said,
"Ah sorry if you feel that way, It's just a bad habit of being a psychic, I was just curious initially but I am more intrigued now because your way of speech is not what I expected. Nice to meet you, my name is Ethan Frost."
'Frost? where did I see that last name?' I thought trying to think.
"My name is Arthur Jones, nice to meet you. So are you a Prince or something?"
"No don't worry, I am not, but let me remind you. How do I put this? your way of talking might get you in big trouble. Although you use polite words, the attitude of talking is like you are speaking to a person of equal social standing. If it is a son of any Duke or Count, you might get into trouble," he said.
'Shit, I almost forgot the most important thing'
I am from Earth so people always converse in a manner or attitude of 'all are equal' kind of deal. After coming here, everyone around me was of equal standing or below, so I never realized it until now. Now I am understanding all the scolding and ranting I got from my brother.
"Thank you for the reminder, Mr. Frost, I will keep that in mind. So, will you be picking your starter here or do you belong to another category?" I asked in a more polite and respectable tone.
"No!!! don't turn back to that respectable elite talk as others do, I like it when people are more genuine and not pretend."
"Fine, so where do you belong? here or the other category?" I ask in a normal way.
"Great, that's more like it!! I will be choosing from the same category as you," he said cheerfully.
"Ok, let's see what they have to offer then."
We moved on to our room's notice board. All the while, everyone was sitting around and thinking about the pros and cons.

Okay, these are some cool and rare Pokemon. There's a dark type, an ice type, and even a fairy. I am not one bit disappointed, but then a realization hit me,
'wait a second, hold on!!!!!'
Elekid and Magby? Don't they have three evolutions?
