30 Chapter 7: An interesting shop

'Little Champion.'

Soul kept thinking about these words Brock said until he reached to the Pokecenter. Haiz… he should call his families and the professor back home while getting his Charmeleon healed.

Yeps… should totally do that. Better get the old bad thought away and replace it with a new good one.

So he went to Nurse and gave one of Pokeball's that contain Charmeleon, as he headed to where the Pokecaller's were.

He didn't use his phone because it would cost money and the Pokecaller was better and free.

He entered several numbers on the Pokecaller and waited for it to be taken up.

*Ding*

*Bip!*

The screen changed from black and shows Professor Oak's lab, as he looked around the screen, he didn't see his dad except for the professor.

Oak: Well hello there, Soul. Your dad is running to fetch your mom here. Why did you call us at this time, now?

Soul: Just a little surprised, I wanna show to all of you. Are Daisy and Gary there, too?

Before Professor Oak could answer, they heard a voice from the upper floor like two kids are fighting for something.

Gary: This is mine!

Daisy: I was the one who bought it!

Gary: I don't care! This last macaron was in my hand first!

Daisy: You stole it from me! What are you talking about!?

Hearing this both Professor Oak and Soul sweatdropped. Professor Oak gave out sigh and begin to smiles again as if it was nothing to be concern about.

Oak: I guess they are still kids.

Soul: I agree.

Oak: That includes you, too.

Soul: Say that to me again after the league, I dare you.

Oak: Oh, ho? Is that a challenge, I hear?

Professor Oak said and smirked.

Soul: Maybe it is.

Soul gave out a smirks too as Professor grin begin to grow wider.

Oak: Then I'll be waiting.

Soul nodded as he heard a door that got opened as he saw two messy figures who were his parents.

Seeing their son is well, both of them gave out a sigh of relief. Guess they worried about him too much.

Maybe they should get another child, to have more company, when Soul goes out on his journey. Plus it would increase the chance of getting grandchildren, hehe…

Soul could feel that his parents were to something as he saw their infamous mischievous grin.

Soul: So, uh… are you guys finished thinking or do you want another hour to do it?

Hearing Soul comment, they both fake coughed and compose themselves while turning their eyes away from his eyes.

Father/Fred: Hmph, yes. It's good to see you again, champ.

Mother: Yes, how have you been? Where are you right now?

Soul: I'm fine mom and dad. I'm currently at Pewter City.

Father/Fred: Oh? Have you won the badge yet?

Soul grinned at this and shows them the badge. Soon after both Daisy and Gary came rushing down at the moment he showed them the badge.

Gary: Hey Soul! You have just started your journey not a long time ago and you've already got a badge!? So cool!

Gary was smacked in his head by Daisy again, while she smiled innocently at Soul. As if she was someone who wouldn't do anything bad at all.

Daisy: That's a pretty great achievement you have made there, Soul. Not many trainers could get their first badge that fast, did you lost a few times?

Soul: Nah not really. Me and Charmeleon defeated Brock and his Pokemons in our first try. It was hard, but it made both of us stronger by it.

Daisy: Oh ok, wait did your Charmander evolve!? Can we see it?

Soul: Sorry, but it's in recovering right now. Maybe next time.

Oak: What's your next destination?

Soul: Cerulean City, there's a gym there.

Oak: I see. Well good luck with that journey of yours, Soul.

Soul: Thanks, bye.

Father/Fred: Give em hell, when you fight them!

Mother: Watch out for yourself and your Pokemons.

Gary: Smell ya later, Soul!

Daisy: We will be cheering on you, good luck.

Closing the Pokecaller, Nurse Joy came out with a Pokeball and called him over and hand it back.

Soul bought another room for tonight and went outside to look around the city more carefully. Who's know what he might find here? No one.

Strolling on the local markets and stores, he heard various peoples trying to sell their stuff. May it be food or item.

???: Fresh berries! Fresh berries at cheap price, buy it now or never!

???: Handmade clothes! They are comfy and are of high quality for only 200 Pokedollar per. clothes!

???: Pokemon book! Buy Pokemon book to help you and your kids to have a better understanding of Pokemons!

Soul went passed all of them since there wasn't anything that he was so interested in.

After a few more hours of strolling, he didn't find anything he wanted and was about to back before he saw a store with a sign that says 'open'.

From the glass, you could see a shoe that has wheels under it.

'Making wheels that can retract under your shoes! Fast transport method for cheap people who don't like walking from places to places!'

Seeing the advertisement, Soul was a little bit interest in what the store is selling. He always wanted a fast transport method.

He thought sometimes to buy a bike, but it would be expensive for the current him right now and would be a pain if someone would steal it.

Plus with its size, he needed to be careful when storing it in his inventory when inside a town, city, or other populated areas.

Maybe he could just store it before he went inside it, but right now he has to spare his money before deciding to spend more.

So he decided to give this shop a try and went inside as a bell sound could be heard and a deep voice could be heard behind what seems to be a receptionist's desk.
