71 Chloe

The crescent moon rose high in the sky as two silhouettes made their way to the Pokemon center.

One of them was a pretty purple haired young woman with bright blue eyes holding a dog Pokemon in her hand, This girl was Chloe, The daughter of Professor Cerice.

The other person was a certain Silver haired young man with light blue eyes and a Dratini wrapped around his neck, sleeping.

"So what were you doing?" Chloe asked, hugging her Yamper tightly.

"I was going out for an evening Jog and lost track of time," I tell her with a smile.

'Can't really tell a girl that I got attacked by a guy that could Mega Evolve Pokemon without using a Mega Stone or even a Key stone?!' I thought.

"I do that too sometimes," Chloe said.

"Alright," I said and the atmosphere got a bit awkward after a while so I decided to launch a Conversation, "Are you a Pokemon trainer?"

"No... I'm still going to School," She said, "I'm 16,"

"Pokemon School, right? That's great, What course are you going for?" I asked, Let me put this straight, I didn't know much about Pokemon School but as a resident of the Pokemon world, One must still know some basic things like, it's a university.

Yes, You heard that right! Pokemon School is a kind of University which people in this world go to until they're 18 and once they become adults and graduate, They are certified Pokemon trainers or any of the courses that they registered for.

"Pokemon Research," She said.

"That's a great course but it's hard as well," I said, "But I know you'll do great,"

Her face turned red as she stared at the ground.

"Thanks," She said.

We were already at the Pokemon center but I suggested to go home with her because it was already dark, She reluctantly agreed.

"So anyway, Your Charizard is really strong, how did you train it?" Chloe asked, visibly excited.

What the hell should I tell her?

Aura? No, She doesn't know about that.

Rare Candies? No, She'll think I'm cheating.

"I trained in Mount Moon for some months," I said with a slight smile, "The hardest months of my life,"

"Mount Moon? That place is a danger area," Chloe said, "I hope you didn't get hurt,"

"Nah, I'm as strong as they come," I said while flexing my muscles, "A Golem couldn't hurt me,"

"Haha, Very funny," Chloe said while giggling, After exchanging some more words, We arrive at the Cerice House.

A young boy with dark brown hair stood outside, He looked to be 10 or 11. He had emerald green eyes and waved at them.

'Whoa, Does Chloe have a Boyfriend?... even after what happened with Goh?' He thought but ran over to her anyway.

"Chloe!" A small childish voice called out and I turned in the direction the voice was coming from, The boy in question was young.

Once Chloe heard the voice, her expression deflated. She was having so much fun before and now...

"Yes!" She exclaimed and then turned to me, "Goodbye, I really have to go now,"

I nodded and she ran off, meeting the brown haired boy and both of them leaving together.

I sighed at her antics and then turned around to head back to the Pokemon center, After all, I had to prepare for a luxury trip for 2 months on the S.S. Anne.

Leonard sat on the docks in Vermilion city, He was staring into the starry sky while holding Sceptile's Pokeball.

"We faced against a strong trainer," Leonard said, "His bond was even stronger than ours, We most go to the Hoenn region and increase our strength as well as find Ran,"

The Pokeball shook as if agreeing to his statement and he sighed.

"Ran, Wait for me, I am coming," Leonard said.

Achoo!

Ran sneezed as soon as they landed in Rustboro city.

"Whoa, Do you have a cold?" Cecilia asked.

"No, Someone must be thinking about me," Ran replied.

"Hmm, maybe it's Jordan," Cecilia said with a bright smile.

Ran blushed.

"No," She said.

"Then who is it?" Cecilia asked.

"..."

"No answer?" Cecilia said.

"Talk again and I'll punch you across the face," Ran said while standing her ground.

"Okay," Cecilia said.

The S.S. Anne was pulling close to the Vermilion city port and the blond haired woman felt excited, excited at the prospect that she would find a trainer as powerful as the one she had seen on the video.

"I'm coming for you, Jordan," She said in a low voice as she stretched her legs.
