1 The Beginning

"Tomorrow you'll receive your elf eggs from the school and officially become Pokemon Trainers. Over the summer you need to hatch and take care of your pokemon, senior year will focus on practical training."

At the front of the classroom, a busty young woman with long wavy red hair paces back and forth. Her dark red shirt is so tight it's hard to imagine how she breathes. If not for a long black leather jacket, everyone could make out every detail of her chest.

Her eyes glance over the excited teenagers mumbling at their desks with a hint of pity in her eyes. Knowing all too well the Pokemon coming aren't too powerful.

"Because of the tuition fees paid to the school, the quality of the eggs is decent. Most are from a senior breeding house and a few were snatched from pokemon in a Secret Realm."

In the back row, a young teen with short platinum blonde hair that looks almost silver and light green eyes stares ahead in a complete daze. Blinking heavily, he takes a deep breath and glances towards his left side. A dark-haired boy wearing a black hoodie and jeans is chewing bubblegum while sneakily using his phone under the table.

Seeing a boy who looks no older than 15 or 16, he can be absolutely certain he has never seen him before. Even though he has never seen him, he still knows the boy's name is Kevin.

Shifting his gaze, he can see five small red and white Pokeballs attached to the belt hanging on the teacher's thin waist. seeing this he instantly understands that he's crossed.

In his mind are sixteen years of memories from a boy named Roy. From his memories, he knows this planet is no longer called Earth, but the planet Centra.

Thirty years ago, a mysterious energy washed over the planet. This wave seemed to change the very laws of physics. Gunpowder can barely make a small flame and electricity is more than tenfold difficult to produce.

Even with those setbacks, human civilization didn't start to crumble until the third day. When everyone expected the changes to be over, the first rift opened. The door to what is now called a Secret Realm.

Wild Pokemon poured from the rift and caused widespread devastation to the population wherever they went. On the fifth day, every satellite in space was destroyed at a speed unimaginable to the people and crippled communications.

Massive tsunamis and devastating earthquakes destroyed coastal cities and reshaped the very continents themselves.

Pokemon poured from the seas and people fled inland. After ten years of hard struggle, humans were able to gain a foothold with immense sacrifices.

A few brave individuals managed to steal a few elf eggs to study, but what they gained was much more. Pokemon hatched from the eggs didn't show aggressiveness to humans but a dependence.

The first trainers were born and more soon followed. In the next twenty years, Humans finally began reclaiming territory thanks to their Pokemon partners.

A new government was established called the Alliance, established by the first eighteen trainers. They developed three large frontier cities in a triangular formation and established many smaller towns in the middle to rebuild civilization.

Going over the memories in his head leaves him stunned. The pokemon series and other animations don't exist in this world at all, to the natives of this world these creatures are strange and unfamiliar.

Thinking of all this he can't help but frown. As far as he knows, he didn't die on Earth and was taking a break while playing Pokemon Shield. The next thing he knows he's in the body of Roy sitting in class.

"Remember to show up on time tomorrow, class is dismissed." Finishing her words, she twists her hips and walks straight out the door.

The voice of the teacher snaps him from his contemplation. Students all around him rise from their desks in a hurry and begin talking about the Pokemon they want in groups.

A girl with long auburn hair and a guy with curly light brown hair walks in front of him. "Roy, you don't look too excited. Why is your face all scrunched up, worried you won't get a good Pokemon?" The young man taunts Roy when he sees him in a daze.

The girl opens her eyes wide and looks at the boy next to her. "Charles don't say that, the initial Pokemon is very important, what if you jinx it." Pushing Charles's shoulder, she shakes her head and turns towards Roy.

"Don't listen to him, I'm sure the Pokemon they bring won't be bad."

Charles shrugs his shoulders with a slight smile on his face.

Looking at the two in front of him, all their information pops into his head. "Meghan, Charles I was just thinking of a few things" Showing a stiff smile he collects his backpack and rises to his feet.

"You?" Charles looks Roy up and down. "Think?" The corners of his lips curl upward. "When have you ever thought about anything?" Turning around he begins walking towards the door. "Let's go."

"Charles!" Meghan's high pitched voice draws the attention of those still in the class for a moment but they soon turn their heads, used to the interactions between the three.

"Roy don't listen to him, he doesn't mean it." Looking at Roy she shows a sweet smile before chasing after Charles.

Suddenly, he can feel the eyes of a few teens turning towards him. Furrowing his brows he pushes aside the strange feeling and follows Meghan out of the class.

Going through the memories of Meghan and Charles in his mind he can't help shaking his head. The former Roy liked Meghan, he took her kindness for him as feelings. Viewing his memories from a third party experience, he knows Meghan and Charles like each other.

They both can tell Roy likes Meghan, but as childhood friends they still haven't crossed that line to push Roy away.

Walking through the hallway he soon catches up with Meghan and Charles.

"Meg, is your father going to give you an additional Pokemon besides the one from the school?" Charles walks almost shoulder to shoulder with Meghan and chats casually, ignoring Roy who just walked up next to them.

"Of course." Shifting her gaze to the side she glances at Roy's indifferent face before turning to Charles. "I don't know why you two are so stubborn, my father offered to give you both an egg as well but you turned it down."

"I'll become a great Pokemon Hunter on my own." Charles shakes his head with a smile.

Roy doesn't know what to say, he can't tell them it wasn't him who turned her down. From his memories, he knows both Roy's parents and Charles's father disappeared in a Secret Realm two years ago. Being a stubborn teen, he refused help from those around him and especially from the girl he liked because he took it as pity.

"It doesn't matter, I'm sure I can succeed." Taking a deep breath a smile returns on his face. With the pokemon knowledge in his head, he is sure he can go far in this world.

"Whatever you guys say." Shaking her head, they soon leave their school.

Looking around he can see that no building built higher than ten floors. The streets are wide and the space between structures is large. In the distance, he can see a giant stone wall encircling the entire town. Because trainers in town are still few in number, the number of pokemon on the street is limited.

The first pokemon that comes into view is a young man riding down the street on the back of a Scolipede. Seeing the large red bug zooming past leaves him stunned.

"Wow, he looks like a Senior Trainer like my Father." Meghan turns her head, her eyes follow the Scolipede before it disappears from vision. Glancing back she notices the excitement in Charles's face and Roy standing in a daze.

"That's going to be me soon, all eyes on me as I ride my powerful Pokemon down the street." Charles clenches his fist and is unable to restrain his smile.

Roy takes a deep breath and confirms what he's seeing is real.

[Pokemon Master System is online]

Pokemon: Scolipede (♂)

Ability: Swarm

After blinking, the screen disappears from his vision. Turning his head he sees Meghan and Charles didn't hear the voice and confirms that it was in his head.

"Let's go, tomorrow is the final day of class. I kinda want to go to sleep now." Charles Retrains the smile on his face and begins walking home.

Walking down the sidewalk, Roy just follows their backs while not paying attention to anything around him.

[System] Calling out in his heart, the system screen appears before his eyes once more.

[Welcome to the Pokemon Master System]

Hearing the voice in his head again, a small smile forms on his face. [What does the system do?]

[Once a month you can teach your pokemon one move they can learn each. Once they've learned all their moves, you can choose a single move to further increase as their signature.]

[Once a month you may acquire a certain item that has appeared in the pokemon franchise for free.]

[Access to a personal micro Secret Realm. Other functions need to be discovered on your own.]

[Initial reward can be picked from the following two choices. A non-legendary elf egg with a racial value of 300 or more, or two eggs with a racial value less than 300.]

Hearing the two options he pauses for a moment. Almost all pseudo-legendaries and the starter pokemon have racial values of 300 or higher. Suddenly, he thinks of two strong pokemon who's initial form has a low racial value.

[I've decided. Where do the eggs appear, do I have a system backpack?]

[Yes, Eggs will appear in the backpack. Once taken out they cannot be put back in.]

[Ok, I want the eggs of a Riolu and Ralts.]

[Eggs have been placed in the backpack. System rewards are over.]

As the voice fades from his mind a different screen appears before his eyes. Three tabs labeled Moves, Item Mall, and Backpack.

Focusing on the first tab, every move and their descriptions from generation one to eight appears before him. Seeing this he quickly turns to the item mall and sees a list that contains almost everything. Pokeballs, medicine, mega stones, Fossils, and even technical equipment.

Finally, opening the backpack he can see two eggs.
