6 Simple Training

Roy leans back and looks towards the starry sky above. Seeing that it's getting dark, he leans over and picks up the Ditto egg. Looking back towards the TV, he watches the rest of the battle.

After watching a few games to get Riolu and Ralts excited about battling, he takes them to water the berries trees that have begun to sprout. Opening a rift, they all leave the Secret Real.

"Rio!" Arriving back in the bedroom, Riolu looks around the room surprised and begins running around.

Ralts climbs onto the bed and looks at everything like a curious child.

Roy smiles at their different reactions while placing the egg onto the bed. "After a long day of work you need to take a shower whenever it's available." Picking up Ralts, he walks towards the bathroom.

Riolu looks at Roy walking towards the bathroom and runs after him.

In the bathroom, he runs the bath for Riolu and Ralts while he takes a shower. After drying everyone off and changing clothes, he returns to the room and sees the egg only has a few minutes till it hatches.

"You guys, the egg is about to hatch and we will have a new companion." Placing Riolu and Ralts on the bed, he takes out three bottles and fills them with water.

Putting in more rainbow cubes he makes his smoothie again. Turning his head he sees Riolu and Ralts staring at the egg

"Rio rio rio!" Waving his hand around he points towards the egg and looks at Roy.

"It's still going to be a minute little guy, calm down." Handing Ralts and Riolu their bottles.

Seeing the colorful drink their eyes light up and they quickly grab the bottle.

Watching them drink he grabs the egg and holds it in his hand. When the countdown finishes, the egg glows a bright white. When the light fades, a little pink blob with beady black eyes and a mouth appears in his hands.

"Ditto!" A little milk voice comes from its mouth as it looks at Roy.

"Hey there little guy, welcome to this world." Taking the last bottle, he puts it towards Ditto's mouth and the little guy drinks.

"Rio rio." Riolu stops drinking for a moment when he sees the egg hatch. Rising to his feet he looks at Ditto in Roy's arm and waves his hand.

Ditto blinks at Riolu for a moment before a small glob on its side copies Riolu's waving motion.

Ralts just watches the two wave at each other while drinking her smoothie.

Seeing his pokemon interacting with each other brings a smile to his face. After everyone finishes eating, they all become drowsy and fall asleep. Looking at Ditto he brings up the system and sees what moves he can teach him.

"Ditto can only learn one move, does this mean I can upgrade Transform as the system said?" Looking at the tab he sees that Ditto's only option is to upgrade Transform.

[Perfect Transform: Ability to transform into anything that's been seen before. Can choose three perfect transformations that grow with the user's level like a normal form.]

Roy's eyes widen as he reads the text. "Does this mean Ditto will have four forms? Ditto and three others?!? At the same time, he can still transform into any other Pokemon??" Furrowing his brows, he reads the text over and over to make sure he is seeing it right.

"Is this the power of a perfect move? How strong would an attacking move be?" Taking a deep breath he tries his best to calm down. Teaching Ditto the move, he sees a grey shroud cover its body and disappears. 

"If I can get a Smeargle, what will Perfect Sketch look like?" Shaking his head he throws the idea out of his mind. Taking out another Pokeball he captures Ditto and releases it.

After arranging all three on different parts of the bed, he lays down himself. Closing his eyes he begins thinking about his future training plans and soon falls asleep.

"Ral ral ral"

Roy groggily wakes up hearing a slight sound and feeling something poking his face. Opening his eyes he sees Ralts standing in front of him and poking him in the face.

"Uhh, Good morning Ralts. Is this revenge for me waking you up?"

Ralts smiles when she sees Roy wake up and quickly covers her mouth. Walking over to Riolu she begins poking him as well.

Roy shakes his head when he sees this but sits up anyway. Taking his phone from the nightstand he looks at the class message group and sees everyone posting pictures with their pokemon. Seeing that it's 6:33 in the morning he instantly feels exhausted but forces himself to get out of bed.

Ditto looks around confusedly after being woken up by Ralts, but after seeing Roy it calms down.

"Good morning guys." 

"Rio!" "Ditto."

Rising to his feet he begins changing his clothes while the pokemon play in the bed. Waving his hand he opens the rift and walks inside.

Instead of closing it immediately, he looks at the rift and waits. After a few seconds, Riolu walks in followed by two Ralts.

"You can transform already? Is this the talent brought by the Imposter ability?" Glancing between the two Ralts he can't find the slightest difference, only with the system can he tell them apart.

"You guys go and play, I have to get everything ready." Taking out a pot of water from his backpack, he moves towards the berry trees.

"Rio rio." Riolu pats his chest and nods. Walking in front of the two Ralts he begins explaining something before running away.

One Ralts looks at the running Riolu and shakes her head. The other is shrouded in a pink glow and transforms into Riolu.

One Riolu chases after the other and Ralts follows Roy to water the trees.

Seeing the berry trees, he can tell they have grown a lot overnight. Now he knows this Secret Realm has some properties of the game. "It takes 72 hours, I should have some more berries by tomorrow." After watering the small trees, he picks up Ralts and moves towards the temporary kitchen to begin making his breakfast.

Ralts sits on the table and watches Riolu and Ditto play tag. Roy finishes making his oatmeal and makes three more rainbow smoothies.

"Riolu, Ditto come and eat."

Hearing Roy's call, the two come running over. Putting them both on the table, all three begin to drink.

Tapping his finger on his cheek he begins thinking about their training while eating. A few minutes later, he collects the empty bottles and stops Riolu and Ditto before they can run off to play.

"Ok guys, if you want to be powerful Pokemon like the ones you saw on the video yesterday, you have to understand my words perfectly." Glancing between the three elves he sees Ditto's confused face.

"Ralts I want you to translate as much as possible." Shifting his eyes towards Ralts he can't help appreciate her useful ability. "First, Ditto you need to transform into Ralts as well."

"Ral ral." Ralts turns towards the two Riolu and explains to them both.

One Riolu glows pink and transforms into Ralts. Roy nods his head when he sees that this approach works. Pulling out his phone he pulls up a picture of a tree. "This is a tree. Tree." Looking at Ralts and Ditto, they then explain to Riolu.

For the next four hours, Roy teaches them a variety of words and sentences until he can tell the three little guys are getting bored.

"Ok, that's enough class for today. Now let's practice using your abilities." Turning his head he looks at Ralts. "Ralts I want you to meditate and use the ability Calm Mind. Constant use should be able to increase your total amount of psychic power.

Ralts nods her head and closes her eyes.

Seeing that she is concentrating, he takes Riolu and Ditto to another area.

"Riolu, the foundation is your body. The same goes for you Ditto. Even if you get the strength and speed of those you turn into, the stamina comes from you." Glancing between Riolu and Ditto who is currently Ralts, he watches as Ditto explains to Riolu.

"Riolu, I want you to use Bulk Up to increase your muscle strength, then use Quick Attack to rush forward for as long as possible."

"Ral ral ral." Ditto turns towards Riolu and explains what Roy just said.

"Rio!" Riolu nods his head and looks serious.

Red energy flows over his body and his muscles pulse slightly. Even though it's not the full effect of Bulk Up, he can tell that it's a start.

Because Riolu has the ability Inner Focus, he is easily able to concentrate while serious. The system embeds the moves into the minds of his Pokemon like genetic moves. While they don't have the best control, they know how to use them.

"Rio!" Riolu rushes forward at a speed faster than his normal running speed.

Turning towards Ditto he smiles slightly. "Ditto, your training will be harder than others because you can do more. For now, turn into Riolu and follow him for training."

"Ral ral ral!" Ditto nods its head before transforming into Riolu. Ditto's muscles bulge as well and runs after Riolu with Quick attack.

Moving towards the pit, Roy begins digging once more. Every once in a while, he looks up to see a blue glow surrounding Ralts or two Riolu lying on the ground exhausted.

Half an hour later he brings Riolu and Ditto a glass of water before going back to his hole.

"Rio!" Riolu Rises back to his feet and helps Ditto get up.

Seeing that he has the fighting spirit a fighting Pokemon should have, Roy nods his head.

While digging, he can't help thinking about the anomaly he sees when using the system to teach his Pokemon moves. 

"It has to be the control of energy that gives Pokemon their powers. Status moves can help them better control their power and it should be easier to learn new moves." 

Thinking of this, he decides to change the moves he planned to teach them in a few days.

"I'll teach Riolu Agility to further increase his speed and Ralts Misty Terrain." Looking at Ditto he pauses for a moment. "If I'm right, Ditto will be able to learn more moves when he has his first Perfect Transformation. I already have an idea for it, but It will have to wait."

Shaking his head, he focuses on digging his hole.

After two hours of training, Riolu and Ditto are exhausted and Ralts can no longer concentrate.

Seeing this, he puts more pokemon battles on the TV for them to watch. Cutting a rainbow block into three pieces, he makes them a smoothie to drink.

For the next few hours, they shift between playing with each other, watching TV, and training for a few minutes. 

Rotating his shoulders, his entire body feels sore after digging with no tools all day. Looking at dirt piling up on the side and can't help but feel accomplished.

Taking out a pot of water, he moves to water the trees to finish off the day.

"Guys, tuff work today. Today is the first step at becoming stronger, you guys should feel proud.

"Rio!" "Rio!" Two Riolus cheer at the same time while Ralts just looks at everyone with a smile from feeling all the positive emotions.

"Let's go, it's time to get ready for bed." Waving his hand he opens a rift.

 Exiting the Secret Realm he brings them into the bathtub and takes a shower.
