Project 'Evolution'

Kanto Region, Pallet Town:

Red took a chunk of meat with his fork and stuffed it in his mouth, letting the juice sink into his mouth and then he let out a sigh of contentment as he chewed silently and swallowed.

"This is great," Red said with a smile.

"He's right," Samuel said.

"Thanks," Daisy said, rolling her eyes to the side, "Grandpa, Nidorina has entered LV. 20 now,"

Samuel let out a genuine smile.

"That's nice," Samuel said, "You're on your way to becoming a great trainer,"

"I don't want to be a trainer, I want to be a breeder," Daisy said with a distant smile.

"That's a great goal, I don't think you've told me before," Samuel said.

"Gramps, You're so forgetful. Daisy has told you her goal so many times," Blue spoke out, his eyes flickering with hidden rage as he sighted his nemesis on the dining table.

"Oh and what's yours?" Samuel asked while picking a cup of Juice.

"It's to become the next Pokemon Master," Blue said.

PFFFTTTT!!!

The sound erupted from Samuel and Red as they sprayed out the juice that they had been drinking before. They looked at each other before Red turned to Blue and smiled.

"If you can't even beat me, You expect to become a Pokemon Master," Red said, "Just abandon your pipe dream and let the real master show you how it's done,"

"You call yourself a master then where are your gym badges? Isn't a master trainer supposed to have all the gym badges? Why don't you have any?" Blue spoke with malice laced in each word.

"I don't but that doesn't mean I won't have any in the future when I start my Journey," Red said with a slight frown.

The two narrowed their eyes at each other, Each of them eating their food while their eyes never leaving one another, proof of their undying rivalry and perhaps kindling hatred as well.

Red turned away, his eyes finally leaving Blue anf focusing on the food in his plate, In five swift movements, He finished devouring his food like a hungry lion leaving Blue in shock.

"Thanks for the food, Mr. Oak, Please have a good night," Red said and made a little bow before scurrying out of the mansion, leaving the waftering fragrance of his scent behind.

Samuel narrowed his eyes and stared at Blue for a good moment before turning to his food.

"I didn't teach you guys to be rude to our guests, Did I?" Samuel asked.

"Red, Where are you going?" Maria asked as she saw Red dawn on his black trench coat.

"I'm going to Prof. Oak's lab, maybe i'll train my Pokemon while I'm there," Red said while opening the door.

"Come on, You haven't eaten breakfast," Maria said but Red had already gone, "Red, I wonder what you're doing with the Oaks..."

Red ran all the way to the Laboratory of Prof. Oak and once he got to the front door, He greedily sucked in air for his greater good.

"That's what... happens when you run... for that long," Red said as he knocked on the door, half-expecting Daisy to open the door for him but instead he met a lab aide with black hair and glasses.

"Are you Red Ketchum?" The aide asked.

"Yes, I am," Red said bringing out his Trainer ID, Once the Aide confirmed it, The door was wide open.

"Welcome Little Professor," The aide said with a smile.

The third floor of the lab held a great amount of technology, so much that it seemed futuristic in a way. Red took off his trench coat and hung it at a corner while adjusting his black shirt.

In this section of the lab, Three aides stood at a corner with all three of them being females and Red a little bit embarassed. He was the only one not wearing a lab coat but alas, Did he need a lab coat to prove he was a Professor?

In the center of the lab, atop a podium stood a Nidorina and Nidorino in full glory. According to the Pokedex, They were at LV. 24 which was a relatively high level in power for beginners.

Red had already released Charmander and Pidgey, leaving them in the ranch to socialize with other Pokemon and maybe train their bodies for a while although he inwardly hoped that they wouldn't over-exert themselves.

Red patted his head and looked at the two Pokemon before staring at the first aide, Laura.

Laura had shoulder-length brown hair tied into a ponytail and deep blue eyes, She had a voluptuous figure although she was flat in the chest area.

The other two were named Tina and Ella respectively and one thing they all had in common is that they wore lab coats.

Laura cleared her throat, She was 18...

"Welcome to the Project 'Evolution', Red," Laura said with a smile.
