This was the video of the finalists of the Indigo league of last year.

Nidorino got hit with Night Shade but continued running at Gengar, It looked like a suicidal charge but...

"Foresight and then attack!"

Red stared at the ceiling, his luscious black hair hanging in place and his crimson eyes bored.

He yawned and raised his hands into the air.

"Another boring day," He said as he turned off his phone and threw it on the bed with a slight groan, "When the hell are they gonna release the results for the exam?"

It seems like Arceus answered his wish as his phone suddenly played the news.

"Breaking news, The Pokemon League has released the results for the last Pokemon Exam," A reporter announced, "It's late in December and the exam results have finally been brought out with the 1st position candidate as Blue Oak from Pallet town,"

Red rolled his eyes and smiled in excitement. Out of the 2000 candidates, One hundred will be chosen to be sponsored as trainers by the League.

How could he not know Blue? He was in love with Blue's older sister, Daisy Oak who turned 18 today and dropped by to see his Mom sometimes.

Red sighed.

'A loveless relationship isn't good for me,'

Yes, He had a crush on her but they had only conversed twice since he was so bad with girls.

"Trainers are advised to go to Pokemon Centers to check their positions with their Exam ID number and pin,"

Red turned off his phone and then looked in the mirror, He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. He opened his door and left his room before descending downstairs.

"Seems like Mom is working extra jobs again," Red muttered and then left.

The Pallet Town Pokemon Center was teeming with activity, especially since the young residents were to check their results.

Red stood in front of the center and the automatic doors slid open revealing the clean reception room with Nurse Joy standing and shaking her hips while moving her broom.

Red stepped inside and the automatic door slid shut. Nurse Joy and Red looked at each other.

'Awkward,' Red thought.

'Isn't he gonna say something?' Joy thought.

After a minute, Nurse Joy put away her broom.

"Hello, How can I help you?" Joy asked.

"Umm, I would like to... check my results," Red said while turning away, 'Damn, I really need to learn how to talk to girls,'

"Oh, The computer room is on the floor above here," Joy said.

Red nodded and walked upstairs, getting to the Computer room. There were several computers on desks positioned on different sides of the room, There were already a few people seated and checking their results.

Some had happy expressions while others had sad and deflated expressions, Red couldn't blame them, It was really hard to place amongst the Top 100.

He didn't know what his score would be, He sat down in front of a computer in the room and then opened the official league site, He inserted his ID into the CPU, and then the page requested for his passcode.

After typing in his passcode, He got his position...

"No fucking way!" Red exclaimed and the others looked at him, "It's a dream, How the hell did I place in the 10th Position!"

"Red, My beautiful son," Maria Ketchum said as she engulfed Red in a hug after hearing the news.

Maria Ketchum was a woman of about 30 with long brown hair and crimson eyes, She had a voluptuous figure and F cups as well.

"You can finally achieve your dream," Maria said with a smile as she patted her boy who was surprisingly taller than her.

"Yeah, I want to become a Pokemon Champion," Red said with a smile, "The Champion of the Kanto region,"

"Then you know what you must do to go along with your goal," Maria said as she separated from him, a light tinge of red appearing on her face only for a split second.

"Yeah," Red said, "All I need is a starter Pokemon to kick this up,"

Maria fell to her knees and stared at Red with teary eyes.

"Mom?" Red asked, "Is there a problem?"

"We don't have enough money for a starter Pokemon," Maria said.

"No worries," Red said while shrugging his shoulders, "I'll go to Viridian city using the subway train tomorrow and collect the Pokedex, After that, I'll either go and capture a random Pokemon or post a quest in the Ranger guild,"

Maria looked at him.

"I saved enough of my allowance for the trip AND the mission," Red said and then ascended up the staircase to his room, "You gotta really let me handle some things Mom,"

After that, Maria heard the shutting of his door.

"Red... I'm sorry," She said as she silently wept.

Author's Note:-

The main character is a Reincarnator but of course, that would be mentioned in the later chapters. Also the idea of achieving adulthood at the Age of 15 was good on my part.
