1 Chapter 1: Introduction

Sitting in a private booth I had my eyes glued to the stage in front of me.

Watching as the performers put on a great stage play, which is portraying the tale of Lugia and Ho-Oh and the historic twin towers.

Right here in Ecruteak City.

Honestly no matter how many times I watch this play, or how many variations of it I see I can't get enough.

It's been this way ever since my parent's brought me to see a different version of this stage play when I was a child. Ever since then I've been hooked on it.

Oh but where are my manners, allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Octavia Penrose.

A person who is living a second life.

Yes, you heard me right a second life.

Previously I lived another life in a different world. Then one day I was killed by a truck and found myself as a baby again here in the world I now call home.

Which was simply a fictional world in my previous life.

For this world I now call home is the world of Pokemon.

At first I couldn't believe it. But eventually I came to terms with my situation.

Just like how I came to terms with being a girl.

Since in my previous life I was a 22 year old guy known as Blake before I died.

Then I ended up in the pokemon world gender bent.

I won't lie. That gave me some pretty serious mental problems when I discovered it.

But just like with coming to terms that I now lived in the world of pokemon I eventually managed to come to terms with the fact I was now a girl.

Which is not so bad to be honest.

Minus the menstrual cramps and a few other things.

Yes, life is not bad at all.

I am even living every hardcore pokemon fans dreamed and am a certified true and blue pokemon trainer.

Amongst other things.

Getting even more comfortable in the chair I am sitting in I continued watching the play.

Until the first act came to a close.

Once it did so a fifteen minute intermission was announced.

When I heard this I got up and went to use the bathroom.

A task I can accomplish easily nowadays without suffering any mental anguish.

Because at first well...things were not great.

Anyway.

Once I finished I promptly returned to my seat.

But just a moment after I did so I heard my phone vibrating in my purse.

Though I decided to ignore it, because it could simply be a message.

However when my phone vibrated two more times I knew whoever was trying to contact me wasn't going to take no for an answer.

So I reached into my purse and retrieved my cell phone.

I then quickly unlocked it to see what all the fuss was about.

The minute after I did so I simply nodded to myself.

Since it turns out someone is trying to contact me concerning an important matter.

One that demands my immediate attention.

The moment I realized this I got up from my seat and left my private booth, then left the theatre I was in.

Because it's time for me to go to work.

(3rd Person: POV)

Standing in a clearing a man with blonde hair and blue eyes paced nervously.

His name is Cody.

An elite trainer employed by the Indigo League, who holds the title of Ace trainer.

As for why he is pacing in a clearing, it is because he is waiting for an individual he had been sent to meet to arrive.

Cody continued pacing, waiting for said individual.

He then stopped in his tracks when he noticed a large shadow looming over him.

Looking upward Cody saw something descending towards him from the sky.

Before he even had time to call out his pokemon, the figure landed right beside.

When this happened Cody saw the creature making the shadow has been a Skarmory.

And there was someone riding on its back.

The person Cody had been waiting for.

Octavia Penrose.

A member of the Indigo Elite Four.

Climbing down off her Skarmory back Octavia quickly gave her a pat on her side, before turning all her attention to Cody.

"What is the situation?" Octavia asked in a calm and collected manner.

"Right mam." Cody spoke.

Doing his best not to mess up.

He is nervous because he is standing in front of a member of the region's elite four.

One who achieved her position in said ranks at only fifteen years old.

Which was unheard of.

Even the current champion Lance didn't become an elite four member until he was eighteen years old.

But the person in front of Cody made that look like nothing.

That's why many trainers of the younger generation look up to Octavia.

Cody is one such trainer.

"From what we've been able to ascertain a young trainer snuck into the restricted area around Mt. Mortar in an attempt to capture a Rhydon. But they failed, and in the process managed to stir up the herd of the Rhydon they were intending to capture. Now we have an angry stampede heading towards route 42." Cody finished explaining.

Octavia gave a curt nod to the summary report Cody gave her.

"Alright. Take me to where we have set up to engage the herd and stop them in their tracks." Octavia spoke.

Since she knew standard league procedure would be to set up a blockade in the direct path of the Ryhdon herd so they could be stopped from actually making it to route 42.

"Yes, follow me please." Cody said.

He then started walking, Octavia and her Skarmory following right behind him.

The trio walked for ten minutes straight, until they arrived at a road filled with other elite trainers from the league and their pokemon.

As soon as this happened all eyes landed on Octavia.

"It's elite four member Octavia."

"The so called 'Steel Vixen'."

"I've seen her battles. We've got nothing to worry about now that she's here."

"Ah, she's so hot."

"Quiet, she'll hear you."

Ignoring all the comments and whispers being spoken about her Octavia walked over to the commander in charge of the operation.

"Commander." She spoke to him.

"Elite Four member Octavia." He responded.

"Any crucial updates to the situation I need to know about?" She asked him.

The commander shook his head. "No mam. The situation at present remains unchanged. The Ryhdon herd is still stampeding in this direction from what my scouts tell me." He explained.

"I see." Octavia mused.

A moment after she did so she heard a loud rumbling sound coming from directly in front of her.

Turning her head Octavia saw what was making it.

A stampede of pokemon. Specifically 40 Ryhdon and 22 Ryhorn.

Looking at the stampeding herd of Pokemon coming towards her Octavia can now see why the league felt the need to call her in to assist on this matter.

Despite the fact she was on a mini week long vacation from her elite four duties.

Though it's not like Octavia is going to complain.

She is the one who chose to accept the position amongst the elite four, and so she will carry out her duties accordingly.

"So many Rhydon and Rhyhorn." Cody mused.

He then swallowed a lump in his throat.

"Commander. Tell your people to stay back and set up a perimeter to deal with any stragglers that try to escape. Other than that leave the rest to me." Octavia spoke.

"Yes." The commander spoke.

Although he was much older than Octavia, who is only 19 years old and has much more experience he followed her orders.

Namely because the commander knew of Octavia's strength.

He knew she and her pokemon alone could handle the stampeding herd.

So he chose not to question her.

As the commander started giving orders to the elite trainers under his command Octavia stepped forward slightly, her Skarmory right behind her.

When she felt she was far enough away from the other league trainers Octavia reached for her other pokeball's and released the rest of her team.

First was her starter and partner, a Scizor she had given the name Archer.

After a certain character she liked from an anime series in her previous life.

Following him came her Lucario, Mawile, Aggron, Metagross, Excadrill, Empoleon, Gliscor, Armaldo, and finally her Kingambit.

Including her Skarmory this is Octavia's full team of eleven pokemon.

As to why Octavia has more than six pokemon on her person, it is because she learned early on as a trainer that in this particular version of the pokemon world trainers are not limited to only carrying six pokemon on them at a time.

They can actually carry as many as they want.

A fact Octavia greatly enjoys.

"Alright gang here is the situation." Octavia began.

She then quickly explained things to her pokemon.

Once she was finished they all have her nods of understanding.

"Good. So, please get to work and stop the stampede." Octavia spoke.

Once she did her pokemon sprung into action.

Her Scizor leading the charge Octavia's pokemon barreled right into the Rhydorn herd and started defeating them one after another.

Except for Lucario.

He stayed beside Octavia to keep her safe from harm.

As the elite trainers from the league watched Octavia's pokemon at work, a lot of them were stunned at how strong they were.

But others were not.

While some of the trainers simply focused on Octavia herself.

Since she is extremely pretty.

A height of 181 cm. Flawless pale and cream-colored skin, deep ruby-red eyes, silky long black hair, curves in all the right places. Not to mention full D-cup breasts.

Octavia is sex appeal on legs.

Which she of course knows fully well.

She can also feel the eyes of the trainers on her. But since she doesn't really care she is letting them get an eye full.

Seeing as how they will never be able to touch her.

Octavia has developed into a bit of a tease in her second life.

Moving on.

Twenty minutes passed before the battle came to and end.

When it did all of the Rhydorn herd were on the ground unconscious or incapacitated, Octavia pokemon standing over them with hardly any scratches at all.

And those they did have were minor.

"Welp guys are work here is done." Octavia spoke.

She then returned her entire time except for her Skarmory.

Once she did this Octavia walked over to the commander.

"You can handle the rest from here commander." She spoke. "Have a nice day."

Once Octavia said this she moved over to her Skarmory and climbed atop her back.

Who then took flight and started heading back in the direction of Ecruteak City.

Octavia still wanted to finish up her vacation after all.

A/N: I hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter of the rewrite.

Unlike most pokemon stories I will be doing things a bit differently. Namely showing Octavia's journey through flashback chapters.

While the rest of the story will be about her life in the present as a member of the Indigo Elite Four.
