1 Prologue

Silence enveloped the warzone, soldiers who had been stationed in the field stood still holding their breath, they seemed to be in a dazed state as their eyes were out of focus and seemed to be in deep slumber, but nonetheless they stood still.

Their eyes were blankly staring at the sky and although the atmosphere was filled with dust, if anyone awake, or rather, in their right state of mind were to look towards where the hundreds, if not, thousands of soldiers were staring at, they would be able to make out the figure of a humanoid creature, floating above the crowd, imposing an undefiable aura, that made the weaker-minded ones among the human-puppets to subconciously flinch whenever the figure would gaze upon them even though they were supposed to be unconscious.

The humanoid-figure raised its hand and a purple aura of sorts started floating around it, indicating it was about to initiate with the puppets it had created.

Suddenly, the soldiers who were closest in proximity to the figure started convulsing on the spot, their eyes bulged with tears of blood flowing out of their pupil, blood rushed out of their noses and their mouth started foaming as they fell down on the ground whilst they managed to take a last gasp of breath that would ironically cause them to die.

The phenomenon spread like a wildfire as it moved through the crowd and slowly but surely initiated what was to be, one of human-kinds worst tragedies.

Before it managed to kill everyone though, a beam of energy was shot across the sky towards the humanoid figure, before it could reach it though, the figure calmly raised its other hand which had wisps of purple energy circling about before morphing into a dome-like structure that acted as a shield against the incoming beam.

And as soon as the shield had taken form, the beam made contact with it, before splitting off in the middle and destroying the warzone even more. Coulds of dust started forming and covered a large area of the battlefield with the figure at the center who stared off into the distance in the direction of the attack and soon caught sight of a snakelike creature with indigo skin that stood out amongst the dull grey environment of the battlefield.

Not wanting its attacker to get the upper hand, the figure shot out a chaotic mist of purple that shot towards the incoming invader, who after noticing it was about to be hit by the enemy's attack soon had a transparent barrier appear in front of it.

The chaotic ball impacted the barrier with tremendous force and sent huge shockwaves scattering about the ground as it blasted off unfortunate corpses into oblivion and shredded them to pieces.

The defender of this inhumane attack flew through the sky like a ragged-doll as it crashed against the hard ground and lay still.

Far away from where the battle was occurring, a middle-aged man scrunched his eyebrows until they formed a V-shape as tears slid across his face. The man slowly wiped off the tears flowing down his eyes, whilst he became even more determined to take down the monstrosity that one of his close-colleague had gave birth to through his evil and unending greed for power.

"This can go on no longer...Mewtwo, you must be stopped here, at once!!"

The snakelike creature fighting against Mewtwo in the battlefield soon started to awake and turned luminous and started emitting light from every inch of its body, the outline of its shape slowly started to transformed into the shape of a dragon-like creature as it grew out wings and formed a humanoid figure like it's opponent.

The light slowly started fading off as it opened its eyes with new-found determination and charged headfirst towards Mewtwo, who although surprised at first, got ready for any incoming attack as it knew that it's opponent who it disregarded before had now gone through an 'evolution' and would now be a difficult opponent.

The dragon opened its jaw mid-flight and released another projectile of energy that headed straight towards its target, who, quickly formed its own barrier and blocked of the projectile after being pushed back because of the ensuing explosion.

The dragon took this second of vulnerability into account and dashed even faster with its claws glowing with power that were ready to slash apart its enemy, although it never found its target, because it got stopped just a few inches away before touching Mewtwo's mask that hid its scheming eyes.

The dragon intuitively noticed that it could no longer move its body and that it had been stopped by some sort of kenetic force that prevented its master to from being hurt, before it could formulate its next step of action, it got blasted away at an astonishing speed with a flick of Mewtwo's three fingers.

After its quick descent into the ground, the dragon seemed to be outraged that it got blasted off again even after its evolution and rushed at the enemy with much greater velocity than before and covered the miles of distance in an instant as it grabbed the shocked Mewtwo and took flight in the air whilst spinning round and round whilst fighting against the opponents kenetic resistance, when finally, it darted straight down towards the ground and held its enemy until it made impact with the hard ground, sending tremors across the floor that spread through the battlefield leaving clouds of dust to cover the atmosphere.

After a few moments, the dragon stood up with caution whilst trying to stare at what was left of its enemy, that was located deep in the ground that formed a crater with it at the center, though with not much diffculty because of the stubbornly receding dust.

The dragon sensed no movement from the enemy and thought that it had taken care of Mewtwo, as it headed towards the location of its enemy, the dragon was shocked at the absence of the humanoid's body where it was supposed to be.

With panic and caution in its eyes, it checked its surrounding and took no notice of it, so it decided to take flight and try its luck from above, although it could only see what was left of their battle, and the casualties that littered about in the warzone.

'Leave him be, Dragonite....you both have suffered enough.'

The drago- Dragonite nodded to itself after its master's orders and flew away from the battlefield and headed towards where its master was at.
