After a few more minutes Professor Oaks arrives at the lab with two little children I assume to be Goh and Chloe, we start to set up our tents to sleep in. I slept in a tent with my sister while the other three set up their own tents.

----

"Ughh." I groan waking up from my slumber.

I got the short end of the stick for comfort as my sister has two pillows and three quarters of the blanket. Now fully awake I slowly leave the tent without making any noise, letting my sister in her sleepy state.

Exiting the tent it seems to be sometime between 5-6 in the morning. Not wanting to disturb anyone I slowly left the campsite and headed into the lab.

I'm not sure which part I am in the lab but it seems to me that I'm in some sort of back room with a lot of tech being used. The rooms walls are coloured a light tint of yellow while the roof is a dark shade of pink.

There are multiple devices I'm unable to name but one thing I'm able to notice are two Pokeballs with each having one sticker. A ground icon sticker and a fire one separately.

I'm assuming these Pokeballs might contain my starters but I have to be careful. I'm already trespassing technically in Professor Oaks lab, but I don't think he would mind. I've been in this room before and there isn't anything of significant value.

But before opening the Pokeballs I've recently started to implement my dimension to store items such as knifes, my notes and other stuff. You never know when you can get in a tough situation to I've been able to get Professor Oak to buy me some essential items which I probably shouldn't have, but Professor Oak gives it to me anyways.

So anytime I'm in trouble I'm able to just pull out my knife and man handle the Pokemon is weak enough with my superior strength with my aura starting to kick in with it enhancing my body slowly but surely.

The reason I know this is that my aura is starting to equally spread throughout my body more often then not and giving me a warm feeling, and the fact that I checked how much I can run for and my top speed.

Now that I've mentally prepared myself I grab the Pokeball with the fire icon and tap the white button in the middle of the Pokeball twice.

Once to expand it and another to send out the Pokemon. The Pokeball now shoots out a red beam materialising a small looking creature.

"Chimchar!" He shouts in a docile manner.

Seeing this my eyes start to sparkle as I start to see his stats.

Basic Information: This Chimchar is currently extremely healthy and is almost at the peak condition a Chimchar at this level can attain. It's 1.2 times bigger than the average Chimchar and is very docile due to its special training. It also has electricity running through its veins enhancing it.]

This Chimchar has exceeded my expectations! His stats and moves are things that a trainer would desperately want.

Protect is a TM that can be sold for extremely high prices! With the addition of Chimchars punching eggmoves and sunny days, this Chimchar basically already has his foundation finished and the only thing needed for him is for the rest of his moves to be mastered and his stats nurtured correctly and we have a monster on our team!

Professor Oak has really out done himself with this Chimchar. This Chimchar is already fully trained and ready to be given to me besides the fact of his TM moves not being Intermediate level yet, which is fine.

Letting my guard down I accidentally released my feelings through my aura exuding an excited and happy feeling making Chimchar feel warm all over his body unknown to me creating a connection.

Not realising what i've done and with my guard down the Chimchar proceeds to jump on me with a smile on its face making me trip over. Quickly regaining myself I proceed to pat Chimchars head making it growl in satisfaction.

But before I can interact with Chimchar more I suddenly feel a presence just pop into existence behind me.

"Green?" A familiar old man says in an amused voice. "Too impatient to wait for me to give your Chimchar now are you." The now indentified Professor Oak says tiredly as he yawns out loud.

"Well of course I can't wait Professor!" I say cheerfully. "Can I take him now, I really want him!" I say, using the puppy dog eyes jutsu on Professor Oak!

The jutsu obviously not affecting the old man but in the end made him sigh.

"He's not finished training his last two moves yet, but I can give him to you with the methods to train these moves." Professor Oak says while signalling his hands at his Alakazam.

Shortly after this Oak's Alakazam teleports back in front of me holding a note pad, seeing this I grab the two pieces of paper and take Chimchars Pokeball and retrieve Chimchar back into his Pokeball.

*Four hours later*

It's now been a few more hours since I've gotten my Chimchar and just now all the parents are starting to pick up their kids. Nessa and Bea were one of the first kids to be picked up as they have a tight schedule needing to get on a plane as early as 12:30 in the morning.

It's now 10:23 and I just challenged Cynthia to battle my new partner Chimchar.

This was a really stupid move on my part as the type match up is extremely bad and I haven't tried to bond with my Chimchar yet so I can just hope for the best as I do not back down from something I started myself.

*30 minutes ago*

"Cynthia! Cynthia!" I say hapily practically skipping towards the blonde.

Cynthia seeing my happy mood is currently curious on what could have happened on a morning like this.

"Whats up Colson?"

"I just got my Chimchar and he's awesome." I say dreamily like im on cloud 9 "Wanna do a battle with your Gible and my Chimchar?" I say. Cynthia is now giggling at my reaction to getting my Chimchar, responds.

"Sure just give me a second I'm gonna tell my grandma about it so I can stay for a while longer." She responds.

"You can come over to my house if you got extra time." I say trying to convince her. Cynthia hearing this gets a thoughtful look and ends up saying that it depends on her Grandma as she knows that they got a few more days in Kanto but not known to her when they leave.

*Back to the present*

Cynthia and I are currently over at my house after a lot of convincing, after getting her grandma's permission. My family and Cynthia's grandma are now watching us at a small field both of us each holding a single Pokeball with each of us taking glances at each other waiting for my dad to start the battle.
