Chapter 41

After a few minutes of staying in our positions, we felt a sudden quake. I also heard many sounds of pokemon roaring. It looks like that the wild pokemon are coming.

"Everyone, ready yourselves the wild pokemon are coming. If you have to kill the pokemon then do it. We don't have any time to be merciful, or else we are the one who'll die here." Sam shouted which was heard by everyone. She then took out 5 more pokeballs, and summoned 5 more pokemon while she was riding her Tauros.

The five pokemon are a Kangaskhan, Alakazam, Blissey, Snorlax, and Pidgeot. All of them are at the grand level and they are all at the 1st tier. They all seem powerful but to think that they were not able to stop the elite pokemon is frightening.

Vhan also did the same, and threw five pokeballs while also riding his Dodrio. He summoned a Butterfree, Parasect, Venomoth, Scizor, and Pinsir. Those five are at the same power level as Sam's pokemon. I don't know how Vhan was able to get a Scizor since in the games it was only attainable by trading a Scyther while holding a metal coat. It seems that there is another method for a pokemon to evolve other than trading.

While I was thinking about this, a 2.5 meter tall pokemon landed on front of our formation. It came from the skys, and the pokemon has orange skin with dragon features in it. It's tail has a flame, and most of the people on my previous world loves this pokemon.

It was a Charizard but I can feel a powerful aura coming from it. It was as if my body is wanting to kneel down to this pokemon. That's how I felt from it. Looking at the Charizard, I know which is the elite level pokemon that is causing all the trouble.

Charizard was looking at us with a mocking look. It was looking at us as if we are not worth of it's time. I hated that look, and I just wanted to smack that face. I won't do that though since I know I'll turn into ashes if I go near that abomination.

Charizard then flap it's wings, and inhaled a large breath. It then faced it's mouth on our direction, and then blew out flames from it's mouth. It used flamethrower but the radius of the move was huge, and even I who is in the back lines can feel the heat coming from it.

My two pokemon was shivering from the attack that Charizard showed. I didn't blamed them though since I too was scared of it.

"The five of you, use Protect!" Sam shouted on her pokemon, and the five pokemon get in front of our formation. They then summoned a huge white screen which off set the flames of Charizard.

While this was happening, we saw many pokemon running towards us from the Pallet Forest. The pokemon come from different kinds, some of them are strong while some are weak.

"Vhan, it seems you have to handle everything in here. The wild pokemon are greater in number than we expected. I'll distract Charizard with my pokemon while you ensure that the situation here will be settled. Your bug type pokemon is better to fight here than facing this monster!" Sam shouted.

Vhan nodded. Sam and her pokemon together with Charizard glowed in a white color. They then disappeared. I think that was teleport which is possible since Sam has an Alakazam.

"Alright, everyone! Let's not disappoint Sam from her brave action, and let's crush these disobedient wild pokemon! All of you defend the formation! I need two advance trainers to follow me, we'll go to the wild pokemon directly to dwindle their numbers!" Vhan shouted, and then his Dodrio run towards the swarm of pokemon together with his pokemon.

The other 2 advance trainers followed Vhan while the last advance trainer remained here together with us. We are tasked to stay in our position while Vhan and the 2 advance trainers will attack the wild pokemon directly.

My two pokemon was still shivering from the early scene, and I can't have them looking like that for long since the wild pokemon are coming.

"Golbat and Beedrill, snap out of it! The Charizard might be scary but it doesn't mean you'll have to be afraid of it all the time. We'll surpass that pokemon in the future so just look at that Charizard as an inspiration for us to overcome." I said to the both of them while caressing their heads.

Golbat screeched while Beedrill nodded and bring her stingers up. They look fired up compared to before.

"Beedrill and Golbat, use your stat boosting moves. We have to prepare everything we can before the wild pokemon arrives." I said to the two of them. The wild pokemon are closing in our place, and Vhan is already fighting with the wild pokemon which destroyed the momentum of the charging wild pokemon for a bit.

The wild pokemon looks like they will arrive at my place within two minutes but that will be enough for my two pokemon to increase their stats.

"Golbat, you'll be protecting me while Beedrill will be on the offense. Golbat don't think about anything else in the battle field but just protecting me. Beedrill you'll be attacking, and you don't have to worry about me since Golbat will protect me but you have to stay 5 meters apart from me only. Don't get too far or we won't be able to save you if you got yourself into a dangerous situation. You both understand the plan?" I asked them.

The two nodded while boosting their stats. The wild pokemon are already engaging the intermediate trainers, and it will be our turn next.

Soon, the wild pokemon arrived at my line of defense. We first encountered a Arbok that has a power level of beginner level (2nd tier) which was easily killed by Beedrill. It got stabbed by Drill Run. It was an easy fight since the Arbok seems focused on reaching the entrance of the town than our existence.

The next opponent came, and it was three Psyduck that are super weak which was easily killed again by Beedrill with her stingers. More pokemon came though, and I know that this battle will be a long one.
