11 Chapter 11

Hello! The power interruption isn't happening yet, and since the book has reached 100 plus votes, I'll be posting an extra chapter. Today's chapter was posted yesterday so this is an extra.
It's only been like 5 days since the book released, and you're voting so fast for my opinion. I'm not the best writer, and I'm happy seeing how much support you guys give. I'll work hard in giving you a great story. I'll try though.

I found that the nidoran has a 3.5 star potential. It also knows the moves leer, poison sting, peck, focus energy, fury attack, toxic spikes, double kick and even confusion which is an egg move.
I don't have to worry about the other moves except for confusion. That's the only move which zubat can be damaged severely.
"Zubat, go fly into a distance and attack nidoran with supersonic, and rarely do some gust, and swift in between." I said.
Since zubat has a advantage of long range attacks then I have to use it. I only have to wait for nidoran to be confused then I'll let zubat finish it off with a technique we practiced.
"Nidoran dodged it, and use focus energy and leer when given the chance." Mark said, and nidoran followed that.
"Don't give nidoran a chance to do that, zubat." Zubat screeched, and used supersonic followed by swift when he sees nidoran preparing to use focus energy or leer.
Swift is a good move since it never misses, and it can help disrupt nidoran from doing what it wants.
"You coward, only knowing how to attack nidoran from a far." The brat said trying to taunt me.
I didn't reply, and zubat just did the same thing I commanded it until nidoran was confused. Unfortunately though, nidoran was able to do focus energy successfully by the time it got confused.
"Finish nidoran with the Flinching Combo, zubat." I ordered to which zubat followed.
The Flinching Combo is a move combo which consist of astonish, bite, and air slash. These moves can make the target flinch. Also, each of those three moves has about 30% chance of making a target to flinch rendering the opponent to be able to move.
Zubat did 2 consecutive flinching combos before it stops. This combo is a bit tiring for zubat since he needs to execute those moves fast to be effective. Zubat was about to fly away to take a breather but then nidoran woke up from it's confused state, and then used confusion without it's trainer's order.
Zubat was directly hit, and it was super effective. It damaged zubat severely that it drop to the ground.
"Very good, nidoran. Now finish it off with another confusion." The brat said while laughing.
"Zubat quickly dodge the attack with quick attack." Zubat flew away but was still hit with the confusion. He screeched with pain but was still able to hang on.
"Your zubat is quite hard to knock out than I thought it would. Nidoran finish it off with one more confusion." The brat said but I was still calm with what was happening.
Nidoran was about to use confusion but then Zubat used supersonic, and nidoran was successful put into a confused state again. He then attacked Nidoran with leech life, and absorb consecutively to heal some of his health back.
"Zubat do the flinching combo when nidoran is about to wake up from it's confusion." I ordered, and zubat did that when nidoran was about to wake from it's confused state.
Zubat did another 2 flinching combos which finished nidoran off. This would have been an easy victory if that nidoran didn't consecutively hit zubat with confusion. That nidoran was really lucky to hit zubat with confusion two times in the row but luck is still a factor between fights. Also, I think zubat was critically hit with those two confusions, and it may be because of focus energy.
I need to train zubat harder in his dodging skills, and speed. Those two is more effective to train than doing some endurance, defense, and special defense training but I'll still let zubat train on those things sometimes. I believe letting zubat only train on certain areas is more effective than training him in multiple fields.
"Nidoran is unable to battle, and the winner is Rem with his pokemon, zubat. And as per the contract, the winner wins 10,000 Kanto dollars from the loser." The referee said as I can see Mark running to his nidoran.
"I can't possibly lose to him! He must have done something! Yeah, he seems to have cheated." The brat said while returning his nidoran to it's pokeball.
"Are you saying that the referee didn't do his job right, and let me cheat without him noticing? Is that what you're saying?" I said with my best innocent voice and face.
"Yeah! The referee might not be doing a great job at this. I'll tell this to my parents." The brat said without noticing the reaction of the referee.
The expressionless face of the referee turned into a face with a hint of anger. Of course, this was what I envisioned to happen. With that brat's idiot brain, and big mouth he'll screw up. This time, his parents will pay those 10,000 Kanto dollars along with him being lectured by his parents which I expect to happen.
I'm sure he won't be able to pay that 10,000 Kanto dollars on his own, and his parents will be mad when they hear this. I can't wait for the drama that's about to happen.
The brat's underlings was also idiots, and even joined Mark in insulting the referee that he's doing a bad job. Soon, enough the referee exploded. Figuratively though.
"Enough! I'll call your parents, and let them know what you're doing." The referee said, and then took out a paper and wrote something on it. He then took out a pokeball, and called out a golbat. He then tied the paper to the golbat, and said something. He must have said to bring it to Mark's parents.
"Soon enough your parents will come here. We'll then settle this after." The referee said, and closed his eyes with crossed arms.
After a few minutes, I can see a woman with a golbat. The golbat must have been the referee's while the woman must be Mark's mother. I think his father must be doing some other work that's why he wasn't here.
Here it is. The drama that I waited to watch. I'll enjoy watching this but of course, I'll have to still take my 10,000 kanto dollars before this drama ends.
