"That was unique but a cool way to defeat your opponent." Bruno whose watching in the sideline approved at the combo of moves Joseph's Machamp used

The boulder made from using Rock Slide and barrage of fist by using Close Combat on the huge boulder to press down Lorelei's Dewgong.

"Never forget about the Attract." Lance stared at Machamp's trainer, he suddenly want to have a match with him.

"Old fool what are you standing there for?" Agatha shouted at Prof. Oak.

"Oh yeah, Lorelei's Dewgong fainted and cant battle anymore! Please send your next pokemon." Prof. Oak was also amazed on Joseph's pokemon. "Mr. Pokemon is really saying the truth that this kid is a champion level trainer."

Lorelei took back her Dewgong and let it rest on her Poke ball then she took another poke ball on her pocket.

"Your Machamp is strong Mr. Johnson but I'm confident now to take your Machamp down." Lorelei said with eyes full of fighting spirit and threw the pokeball on her hand in the air.

"Jynx." A human-like female pokemon with purple skin and blonde long hair appeared.

"Don't tell me this Jinx have Oblivious ability?" Joseph's eyes narrowed because Machamp might be taken out by this Jynx. Oblivious is an ability that prevents the user become infatuated and also doesn't affected by the move Captivate in short the pokemon becomes a dense shounen protagonist.

"You guessed it right Mr. Johnson." Lorelei smiled.

"Since the both of pokemons are ready, let the second round start!" Prof. Oak waved his hands.

"Jinx use Psychic!" Lorelei immediately gave her instructions to Jynx.

"Machamp use Rock Slide to build a wall boulder!" Joseph's expression was serious because just 2 or 3 hits of that Psychic can make his Machamp slump on the ground.

Jynx's eyes glowed with pinkish hue then she sent a strong wave of psychic force towards the opposing Machamp.

Machamp used his conjured boulder as his shield.

The boulders that Machamp conjured were easily broken by the psychic energy. Machamp also tooks some damage from it.

"Strong." Joseph muttered.

"Machamp use Light Screen." Joseph specially prepared this move to tank some psychic pokemons that focused on special attack.

"His Machamp also knows moves like this? Interesting." Agatha commented.

"Light Screen is hard to taught specially to those fighting type pokemons like Machamp and it evolution line." Bruno also can't help himself to praise Joseph.

"This guy is talented in teaching pokemon moves, maybe he's an official Move Tutor." Lance crossed his arms.

Machamp opened his arms wide then an invisible barrier formed around his body.

Lorelei smiled then she ordered her Jynx to use psychic once again.

Joseph really want Machamp to get closer to Jynx and pummel her but just like what happened earlier Lorelei used her range advantage and kited him like a mob in games. The only thing Joseph's Machamp can do right now it to throw boulders at the Jynx since rock type moves are also effective against the ice type Jynx.

'If only my Machamp can get closer... damn I need to gamble.' Joseph's situation is not that good.

Machamp's Rock Slide are easily dodged by Jynx and continued to take some damage by Jynx's powerful psychic.

"Machamp lets fight like a man and stop being a turtle!" Joseph shouted the Machamp felt pumped up!

"Maaachaamp!!" Machamp roared as sign of approval.

"That's the fighting spirit! Now use Scary Face!" Joseph started to gamble.

Machamp ignored the attacks of Jynx and rushed towards her. Sinister looking aura covered Machamp's face then his eyes glowed with red light, Machamp's face become a demon that smiling at his prey.

Jynx was frightened and her knees felt weak resulting to reduced speed.

Machamp finally close to Jynx.

All of the spectators' eyes narrowed but Lorelei's expression didn't change.

"Jynx use Lovely Kiss." Lorelei waved her hand.

Machamp whose face was close to Jynx suddenly become ugly. Jynx hands was now forcefully pulled Machamp's head towards her and gave Machamp an unforgettable nightmare.

"The hell?!" Joseph's eyes widened when he saw his Machamp fallen asleep.

"Jynx finish it with Dream Eater!" Lorelei decisively ordered her pokemon.

Jinx used her psychic powers to extract Machamp's dream and used it to heal herself from the damage she received from boulder thrown to her earlier.

Machamp finally falls in the battlefield.

"Machamp fainted, Lorelei's Jynx won this round." Prof. Oak shouted. "Please choose your next pokemon."

Joseph sighed then he took back Machamp to his poke ball. Joseph looked at the Arcanine on his side and thinking to use this doggo but it was an overkill to Jynx so he choose one of his reserved level 60's pokemons.

"I'll just use another doggo." Joseph threw the poke ball in the air then a 1.4 meter tall hellhound-like pokemon appeared.

"A Houndoom." Agatha said.

"Lorelei's Jynx will be having a hard time." Lance shook his head.

"I haven't seen this specie of pokemon for a while now." Prof. Oak said then he reverted back to referee mode. "Both pokemons are ready, let the third round begin!"

"Jynx comeback, you did well." Lorelei suddenly said her Jynx is really no match against that Houndoom. And it's better to use her Lapras right now since she guessed that the last pokemon Joseph would use is his Pikachu.

"Houndoom use Nasty Plot." Joseph taken advantage Lorelei's switching by using stats improving move.

Houndoom smiled while thinking of sinister things to do with his opponent after Houndoom finished using Nasty Plot, Lorelei's Lapras is already in the battle field.

"Lapras use Hydro Pump!" Lorelei adjusted her glasses then she waved her hand.

"Houndoom use your speed to dodge then spam that Lapras with Dark Pulse." Joseph knows that this Lapras doesn't have a good special attack and it's focused on HP and use her weight as her advantage by using Body Slam.

The Hydro Pump being fired by Lapras was continuously dodged by the agile Houndoom.

While dodging, Houndoom continuously fires a beam of black and purple circles from its mouth at the Lapras. Lapras' huge slow body is an easy target for Houndoom.

"Lapras use Blizzard to make the splashed water become ice." Lorelei shouted.

"Laaapraaas." Lapras body emitted an intense cold air combined with ice energy then she flapped her flappers and used Blizzard.

"Houndoom don't let that Lapras do it, use Heat Wave!" Joseph knows what Lorelei was thinking, she wants to reduce Houndoom's mobility advantage.

Houndoom roared then his body released an extremely hot air and shot it to Lapras.

Extreme hot and cold air with their ice and fire type energies collided.

*Boom!*

Joseph didn't expect that it will result into a big bang.

A large cloud formed on the top of the Gym.

"As expected you'll counter it with heat." Lorelei smiled and adjusted her glasses. "All according to plan."

"Don't tell me..." Joseph suddenly realized what's happening then he looked above and his eyes widened.
