Same with last time, it will take place in a month but whats different is that in that trial, all participants need two pokemons. It will be a two vs two battle and those fails to catch another pokemon will directly lose and leave the island to become small captain. Other rules are more of less the same. There are no information about rewards but it is known that they are very rich. It is said that island is the best way to get integral points for beginners.
For this next trial, Jack is taking a risk because it is better to catch a relatively stronger pokemon if you want to win. Although this will lack a bit of tactic, the power is not a joke.
"Right now, I have two options, It is to train the newborn and let it participate in trial or let feebas evolve." Jack thought.
The later guarantee a sure win but evolving feebas into Milotic is no less harder than Gyarados. Plus rushing evolution will not do any good for feebas. It is better to improve as much while in the initial form.
So all that left is to hatch and train a pokemon he is going to get. Hatching and training newborn in a month is very difficult but not impossible so Jack decided to do that anyway. But it will still be a lot weaker than others since it needs to wait a week after hatching, in order to do basic training and need to wait two weeks more for actual combat. So Jack only has a week left to grind.
In order for this plan to work, zubat need to take on two pokemon without losing. This trial will be the most difficult trial for Jack.
It only took 2 hours for Jack to arrive in the danger zone. With the level of zubat right now, passing through beedrill or spearows territory is not a problem anymore but this danger zone is different. There are high level pokemons everywhere so he needs to he needs be aware of his surroundings all time.
As soon as Jack enters, zubat quickly rushes in front of Jack and use protect. At this time a purple liquid is shot towards Jack but it is blocked by zubat protect. Seeing this Jack startled for a moment and jump backwards and looks at the direction where the attacks come from.
At this moment, a red spider comes out of his hiding, it is angry because some bat disturb his meal.
Jack quickly checks its information to know whether they need to fight or run but luckily its level is not high. So he decided to teach it a lesson for scaring him.
Pokemon: Ariados (yellow)

"Zubat, double team and supersonic."
As soon as the green aura disappears, Ariados uses poison sting but zubat dodges with double team and use supersonic to make it confused.
"Zubat, Continuously use quick attack and wing attack while it is confused."
After it got attacked for many times, Ariados successfully snapped out of confused stage and his eyes are filled with rage. He no longer cares anymore and rushes towards Jack to use fell stinger.
Seeing this zubat panicked and rushes towards Ariados with wing attack.
Jack face twitched after seeing zubat lost his calm but he has no time to correct zubat. When fell stinger of Ariados arrived, Jack quickly jump and dodged. Luckily Ariados is not a fast pokemon so Jack does not take a hit. If it is other pokemons, this will be very fatal.
Just when ariados attack missed, the zubat wing attack hits him in the head. But it does not lose combat ability and use fell stinger again. Zubat who is in rage no longer dodge and use quick guard for defense and wing attack for offense.
This has become a close combat between two pokemons and last about 5 minutes before Ariados lost its consciousness. Zubat is also filled with injuries but does not stop still manages to kill it.
In the close combat, Jack does not command zubat because this kind of battle is very helpful to improve battle instincts. Then he applies super potion on zubat and let it rest.
"Zubat, you need to learn from this battle. It is lucky because the opponent is Ariados. If it was others, I'be dead." Jack scolded. When zubat heard Jack's word he realised his mistakes immediately becomes angry at himself. Due to his mistakes, it nearly caught his trainer life.
Seeing zubat sad face, Jack expression got soften and cheer zubat.
"Don't worry about it, I am not angry at you. You just needs to learn from it. Do not lose your calm, you have many abilities. If it happens next time use long range abilities to intercept and taunt to draw attention."
Jack explains many kinds of scenario and abilities suitable for each situations while patting zubat head. This improve zubat understanding of abilities greatly and got cheered up. His expression said, "I won't let this happen again."
Jack nodded in satisfaction seeing this.This kind of battle will happen many times in the future. Smart pokemons will always target trainers first. During this time it is hard for him to command zubat so he needs to make a correct decision for himself. After zubat gains his confidence again, they continued their travel.
It tooks a whole day to arrive at the place where egg is. During this day Jack found many powerful pokemons, he even meets those with over level 30. Luckily Jack spots them first and successfully avoid it. As for pokemon lower than level 25, Jack lets zubat battle it.
The battle with level 25 light green Arbok is the hardest. It nearly cost both of their lives but in the final moment zubat broke through quick guard to elite rank and avoid final blow. If it got hit zubat will at least bedridden for days. After the final blow Jack successfully caught it since it is the light green aptitude. It is the only light green he encounters during the day but Jack is still satisfied.
Although this battle is life threatening it is not without benefits. Zubat increase 1 level plus both absorb and gust has also broke through elite rank. Zubat can now evolve but Jack made zubat to suppress the evolution. This will also increase zubat willpower.
Now they have arrived to the place where they will get an egg.
