"Now!" Bel said excitedly.

"Snivy use leer" Cheren said quickly.

"Oshawott use tackle" Touya said half a second later.

Snivy managed to scare Oshawott and make him drop his guard a bit, but he still took the hit squarely.

"Use vine whip" -Cheren.

"Block it with water gun" -Touya.

Oshawott managed to block one of the whips, but was hit by the other which did great damage.

"Can you continue friend?" Touya asked with concern.

"Osha Oshawott" Oshawott agreed with determination.

"Good, Oshawott use tackle and finish him off" Touya said with determination.

"Use tackle too Snivy" Cheren said excitedly.

The two pokémon collided forming a small cloud of smoke.

When it cleared up, it was clear that Oshawott was defeated and Snivy didn't look much better.

"This time you won" Touya said with a smile.

"Even with the type difference I almost lost, there is still a lot to improve" Cheren said thoughtfully.

"It's my turn to fight Cheren!" Bel said determinedly.

Touya took Oshawott and gave him a potion to get him back.

Oshawott looked a bit sad about losing, but Touya cheered him up a bit.

"Don't worry friend, it's not bad to lose, besides I'm sure he cheated" Touya whispered to Oshawott with a smile.

"Osha Osha!" Oshawott said cheerfully.

The fight between Bel and Cheren was short, Cheren tried to make a strategy, but Bel attacked him with everything and defeated Snivy.

"We won!" Bel said as she hugged Tepig.

"How am I supposed to strategize if all you do is attack?" Cheren said with a grim aura around him.

"Did you really try to guess what Bel would do?" Touya said in shock.

"Yeah that's a good point" Cheren said understandingly.

After resting for a few minutes and curing their pokémon, they put them in their pokeball and Cheren said.

"I'll go apologize to your mom for everything that happened, see you in the lab" Cheren said as he said goodbye and then went down the stairs.

"I have to apologize too!" Bel said as she followed Cheren.

"Well, I'll have to follow them" Touya said with a little laziness.

Going down the stairs, Touya ran into Cheren and Bel apologizing to his mom.

"We are very sorry!" they both said bowing.

"Wow, it's not that bad, I heard the whole battle from down here" Touya's mom said with a calm smile.

Touya's mother is a very pretty woman with brown hair and blue eyes quite similar to Touya.

"About cleanliness" Cheren said a little embarrassed.

"Don't worry, my son will clean everything" Touya's mother said still smiling.

At that, Touya was filled with a gloomy aura.

"O-ohh, okay, the best thing is to go to the laboratory" Cheren said with a bit of nervousness.

"Thank you for everything" Cheren and Bel said before leaving.

Touya's mom walked up to him and looked at him intensely.

Touya could only break out in a cold sweat, and said.

"Sorry, I'm young and I got a kick out of it!" Touya said as he apologized several times.

"Hmm, okay, I forgive you" Touya's mom said after a few minutes.

"Now you have to go to the laboratory to get your Pokedex, when you come back you will clean your room" Touya's mother said with a smile.

"Yes mom" Touya said in a tired tone.

"Don't be so dramatic, and don't forget your Xtransceiver" Touya's mom said giving him a clock with a screen.

"Thanks mom" Touya said with a smile.

"Be careful and don't forget to say goodbye" Touya's mom said with a smile.

Upon leaving, Touya walked to the front and looked at the sea for a few minutes.

"No no and no!" a voice was heard in Bel's house.

A few seconds later Bel left her home a little downcast and noticing Touya's gaze.

"N-nothing's wrong, I'm going to the laboratory" Bel said trying to escape.

"Did you really try to lie to me?" Touya said a little disappointed.

"Okay, you know how my dad is like, he doesn't want me to go on adventures because 'it's very dangerous'" Bel said, blurting out the truth.

"You know he only cares about you because he loves you right?" Touya said in a calm tone.

"But that doesn't mean I have to be at home all the time" Bel said a little annoyed.

"In that you are right, but first you should be less clueless to make it credible" Touya said laughing a little.

"That was a cheap shot" Bel said dramatically.

"Well, if you need me you always know where to find me" Touya said and then walked towards the laboratory.

"Wait for me!" Bel said following Touya.

"Shall I tell you something?, I always thought that you and Cheren would make a nice couple" Touya said mockingly.

"D-don't be silly, h-he's just a great friend" Bel said with a red face.

"Suuureeeee" Touya said not at all convinced.

"Come here you idiot!" Bel said angrily running towards Touya.

"You will never catch me alive!" Touya said as he ran towards the lab.

Being in front of the lab, they could see Cheren waiting and Touya hid behind him.

"What the-?" Cheren said surprised.

By using Cheren as a shield Touya stopped Bel's attack and made her turn even redder.

"Thank you very much friend, you are a great shield" Touya said patting Cheren on the back.

"I don't know what this is, but I better not ask" Cheren said with a resigned tone.

"It's time to go in" Cheren said so that everyone entered in the lab.
