7 TIME SKIP

A/N: my stories are more in the style of journal than a scene/play. so most of the time I will be paraphrasing dialogue instead of writing charcters. if any of you think of a dialogue line that would fit my paraphrasing to be either funny, badass, dramatic or cool in any way or form, please set the dialogue (quote) in paragraph comment .

It had been three months since my dad became the chief security officer at Silph Co and one month since my mom left Silph Co.. Silph Co had thrown a huge party in my mother's honour and introduced the type disk that she helped create. The type disk was derived from data from multiple eeveelutions. The Porygon 2 looks like an anime character in real world, compared to other Pokemon that look much more like actual animals.

This new type disk will evolve it into a more real looking Pokemon but it falls in the uncanny vally of VFX ( think Attila the battle angel). Once a Porygon accepts one of these type disk to evolve into a Pokemon of any of the 18 known types, it loses its ability to manifest in cyber space.

During her two months there our home was already under construction, and was just finished a few days after her farewell/launch party. We decided to name the property Ares Habitat. It was an ecological system that spanned from Crocus village to Saffron city. Our house is at the center of this property. On the back of a fast Pokemon, it would only take us 20 minutes to reach either gates.

After her work with Silph Co was over, she spent a week just enjoying herself and her vacation with her family. During her time there she was able to help my father create a suit of armour that could be possessed by his Porygon 2 as the suit's AI. But this would not be possible for any of the type variant Porygons that she has created since they are unable to enter the cyberspace.

My mom just gave my father a very thin computer module that is available on the market and my father just added the functionalities he needed for his perticular suit. He was able to make the suit out of material left behind from dead Porygons. My mom helped him aquire those since she worked with the company that made them . Silph Co had also figured out a few uses of corpse of Porygon corpse in the past, especially as a material catalyst for making new Porygon and as a strengthening agent for the new type based evolutions of Porygon.

This material had the benifit that my dad's Porygon 2 can use this material as base to form it into any shape and colour when he uses his move conversion. Porygon 2 could even use this suit as his own body now. My mother's first project after leaving Silph Co is helping my dad evolve his Porygon 2 without is losing its ability to enter cyber space.

When we moved to our new home a month ago, I asked my parents if we could automize our home just like dad's suit is. I asked if we could have a family Porygon that helps my mom with the computer aspect of research and be a general Home assistant AI. We will ofcourse have contingencies in case it is compromised in any way just like I insisted my dad to have a few contingencies in his suit like human activated parachutes and eject.

My parents were immediately sold on the idea, but were weirded out by some of my contingencies. Later that week, when my mom was stuck on her project to help my dad evolve his Porygon 2, I suggested her to look into this Pokemon I recently saw in a magazine called Rotom.

it is a ghost electric type Pokemon that can take over electric appliances. it's use is even wider than Porygon as they don't need to enter cyber space, which needs a processor and memory. Rotom only needs electrical functionality to possess an appliance. But Porygon is stronger in its niche as it can work as an AI being boosted by machinery, while Rotom can only possess and control it's electrical circuit flow.

A Porygon controlling a computer is like an AI that can control the operating system from within. A Rotom possessing a computer is like it becoming the user itself and controlling it as much as a user could on command. Benifit of Rotom is that just like a user can decide to throw the computer at someone, Rotom can throw it's body at someone when possessing it, while Porygon can only control what an AI could. If it wanted to throw the computer at someone, someone from outside the computer would have to put a catapult under it and give control over actuation of it to the computer.

Hearing my rant, my mom decided to check if she could buy a Rotom. Turns out she could. Next day she was swiftly delivered 4 Rotoms that she ordered and she quickly befriends them. She explained to them about her research and they quickly grew excited about the incentives she offers. They are young ,naive and easy to train, so things go smoothly.

Usually I go from home to restaurant on a metal board that my pichu or my dad's phini have used magnet rise on to make it hover. The board has two Bowl like structures underneath it so that I can lift my board vertically to face them in the direction I'm moving in to slow myself down, with the bowls capturing air like parachutes to slow me down . my propulsion is usually just pichu pulling me while i hold its leash.

Today is different though. yesterday in the morning both Meowth eggs hatched and had to be taken care of by me the whole day. They were born with the ability to walk and today they can even run. That's what we are doing today. Me, pichu and both Meowth that I have yet to name are jogging to the saffron city side of the gate. The jog is show enough that the 4 hour walk to the gate still takes us 2 hours with jogging, with a lot of breaks in between because of how young Meowth are.

We see a lot of my mom's Pokemon on the way, chilling by the roadside trees, keeping it safe from intruders and wild Pokemon in our property. Near the gates we saw Slowking relaxing in an artificial lake and a Poliwrath flexing it's muscles to impress the Pokemon near the lake. This Poliwrath is one of the Pokemon my mom traded for in Cerulean City when we first came back to Kanto. She already had a Slowking and a Politoed so she was excited to exchange some of her research Pokemon for a Poliwrath and Slowbro.

I shout out to Poliwrath and he joins us in our jog. After reaching the gate, I make my way to the dojo, expecting to see Ava and Eve there with Sybil and catch them on the lunch time. I introduce my new Meowth to the koichi family and they are all very happy for me. After lunch, Sybil leaves for restaurant. I've already talked to her about leaving the job, now that I've trained both Phantump and Pumpkaboo into recognising if dishes are cooked well enough. Now they monitor the cooking stations while Sybil is busy with other task and call her when a dish is made.

I learnt a lot at the restaurant. I know how to cook mouthwatering dishes for both Pokemon and humans and have learnt a lot about nutrition from Sybil. I even helped Sybil figure out a way to use Pumpkaboo's recently learnt move, trick or treat to make wine from berries and fruits. we just pour in juice from a fruit or berry inside it's pumpkin and it treats it with trick or treat.

The move adds Ghost type to a Pokemon, so it helps ferment the wine much faster, cultivating alcohol content that would take a year in a couple of days. the speed of such process will only get faster as he grows more competent with it. To increase the productivity of wine, I suggested that we keep a barrel full of juice and use Pumpkaboo as a lid with its pumpkin submerged the juice so it could ferment the whole barrel rather than just whatever it could hold inside it's pumpkin. We can now ferment 50 times more juice and the process is only 3 times slower, taking a whole week to ferment a years worth rather than couple of days.

At the Dojo, I train with Pichu, the girls, their Pokemon, Meowths and Poliwrath, later of which had taken upon itself to become my chauffer and training partner in the dojo, ever since we moved to Ares Habitat. Both Meowth already knew the moves Detect, focus energy and quick attack as egg moves. One of them knew the move Swift while the other knew Iron tail. When I talked to my mom about it, she told me that at same time, a female of any cat like Pokemon can be holding babies from more than one father without getting too deep into the birds and the bees.

Both my Meowth are female so after the training session, I asked the girls to help name them. We named the one that knew Swift as Nova, because of the star shapes of the move. I really wanted to name the other one Midas because it's iron tail looks like gold due to its fur colour, but the girls convinced me that it is not appropriate enough name for a girl.

Ahh, if only they knew that gender was just a social construct(🤣). well they convinced me that Marigold is a much better name. How you may ask, well this world literally had a version of puppy dog eyes as a Pokemon move, called baby-doll eyes. It was super effective.

Both Nova And Marigold, shortened to mari, took well to their names. Both of them got very close to the girls as the girls dedicated the whole session to using their Pokemon to help Nova and Mari perfect moves they knew from birth. Later they had a doubles spar with Yamask and bronzor on one side and both Meowth on other. They did great for their first battle but I was mesmerized by Yamask and bronzor's teamwork. It was as if they were a single ambidextrous bring using two hands rather than two different Pokemon.

When I asked the girls about it, they told me that when they were younger, Wobbuffet, Galade and Medicham used their powers to help Yamask and bronzor talk to each other telepathically, due to bronzor bring a physic type. They were successful and later both of them grew up as almost a one being due to always being able to talk to each other and share thoughts. They have equal loyalty for both girls and both Pokemon belong to both of them rather than Yamask just being Ava's and bronzor being Eve's. They took sharing is caring two a whole new level.

The only reason I didn't know this yet was because when they talk to me through Wobbuffet, they each sound different,as if their voices are different in my head. Since this was my first time watching them battle together, I was never able to witness their coordination.

My dad joined us at 7 with some of his colleagues. When it came up that he is training at the dojo to be a better bodygaurd, his colleagues came to train as well. Some to actually better themselves, while others to just butter the new boss up.

Either way, when he reported to the President the results of training in not just the increased fitness of the security detail but also the increased discipline, the President asked Kain if he could take some classes for his security detail at Silph Co headquarters. Kain replied that he will always welcome any willing student at the Dojo, but he can't really make the time to teach at headquarter.

The President complied and announced to his staff that any classes they take at Koichi Dojo will be paid for by Silph Co.. Security was not the only department to take this offer as a few researchers also come to train at koichi Dojo. Healthy body, Healthy mind as they say.

We train till the night, now that I don't have any restaurant duties. After the training, Kain took his daughters back to his home. While me, my dad and Poliwrath make our way back home. My dad calls his arcanine for me to ride while he called Crobat to carry him. I know that his casual clothes that he's wearing right now is just his Porygon flight suit with Porygon using conversion to make his cloths look like casual clothes.

A lot of progress was made today. Pichu was able to grasp the basics of iron tail from marigold and even tried his hands on Swift with the help of Nova. He has already learnt to use fighting type energy from brick break and karate chop (using his his tail) with quick attack and head-but. It makes his version of mach-punch. So he had been looking for newer moves to learn and Meowth just happen to have two great ones.

Pichu had also learnt the moves charge , charge beam and discharge from Phini(Ampharos). he is on his way to learn Ion Delug as well to hopefully create an electric version of his fighting and normal moves as well.

We reach home where mom is already ready for dinner. We talk about our day and how it was. My mom talks about the Rotoms with fascination. I talk to my parents about how useful my dad's Porygon's download ability is already to dad as it tells him if opposing Pokemon is physically or metaphorically(special) more defensive. I talk about how there are other abilities that are useful in information gathering.

For example Trace, the ability of our households Porygon, can help my dad figure out opposing Pokemon's ability. Forewarn, an ability of hypno , and Anticipation, an ability of eevee ,can help him find the power of opposing Pokemon. An ability like Frisk can tell him what item his opponent Pokemon is holding.

I tell my mom how, for an evolution for a Porygon like my dad's, whose job is not to fight in battle but to act as my dad's AI, addition of some of these abilities will be much better than any additional Stat increase in attack ,defence or speed. Even our home Porygon would benifit from some of these abilities and be more helpful in her research. I can see that she is very taken with the idea and I'm guessing that I'll see her less for the next few days as she goes into her research frenzy.
