15 SAFARI ZONE
A/N: my stories are more in the style of journal than a scene/play. so most of the time I will be paraphrasing dialogue instead of writing charcters. if any of you think of a dialogue line that would fit my paraphrasing to be either funny, badass, dramatic or cool in any way or form, please set the dialogue (quote) in paragraph comment .

We spent a month and a half at the Safari zone. We became close friends with a lot of the pokemon there. Pokemon rangers have equipment that allows them to solve problems in the wild using wild pokemon themselves. We learnt a lot from these rangers. The Safari zone acts like a headquarters/training school for rangers, so we also befriended a few rangers in training who were closer to our age.
The rangers have branches in practically every wild Pokemon area in the region. They are the first line of defence against any threat that might originate from there. It was our honour and pleasure to learn some of their tricks of pacifying wild Pokemon. None of us were allowed to interfere with the wild Pokemon, even if they were attacking each other with intention of eating the other
What we were Allowed to do was scavenge for survivors in the aftermath. When a pack of Nidoran family was attacked by a group of viscous Scyther, they left a few baby Nidoran as survivors after their stomach was full, but the experience the babies them with server trauma and injuries. We could only take those babies to the zoo like medical area after the syther had left the scene.
The one time we had to actively interfear was when a Magikarp evolved into Gyrados and tried to woo a Dragonair by fighting her. She wanted none of it and fought back harder. Their fight was a majestic sight, but it was spilling over to other areas as well as causing quite a bit of the property destruction and casualties of the Pokemon not involved in the initial struggle kept increasing. We were called to pacify the situation.
With Lapras singing, Tangela's spores and Bronzor and Yamask's hypnosis, we were able to pacify the two Pokemon, putting them both to sleep. The rangers than netted the Gyrados and captured it. They said that this is a regular occurance. Magikarp often gets mesmerized by Dragonair's beauty and sets itself to evolve to win her love.
Due to the brain chemistry of a Gyrados, it is angry all the time. When its subject of interest shows no interest back at him, he gets violent. Most of the time Dragonair is powerful enough to subdue them herself and let the rangers take these extra aggressive Gyrados and either release in the wild or sell to the highest bidder.
This time a Magikarp had already seen a Gyrados be beaten by the Dragonair. Unlike most other Pokemon around, it was not just attracted to its beauty but also strength. It spent a lot of time perfecting himself as a Magikarp, pushing away it's own evolution to evolve into a more powerful Gyrados than others before him.
It was able to push the Dragonair most out of any before, but sadly the havoc it caused was causing way too much causalities for other Pokemon. We had to subdue it. We woke the Dragonair up from the sleep we put it in and talked to her through bronzor. It describes how sick she was of all the Magikarp lusting after her and sick of being subject of their violence upon evolution.
I explained to her that my mom is building a Habitat just like here and that she would love to have her there. I explain that the chief Ranger here, that is already her friend is the one building the habitat so she knows that it would be good.
I also tell her that my mom has powerful Pokemon to take care of the habitat, so it would be managed by fellow Pokemon instead by humans. She asked if she could climb up the social ladder there by becoming one of the pokemon responsible for peacekeeping instead of being kept peace upon.
I tell her that since she would set up her nest in a lake, my mom's Slowking will be the one taking care of her and her surroundings. If she wants a job underneath him, she will have to ask him. She agrees as soon as I tell her that the lake is closed off on all sides , due to being artificially made and that there are no Magikarp in there. Guess I should have leaded with that.
I inform the deputy chief Ranger of our wishes and he contacts the chief Ranger, who is at my parent's estate to help make sure that Dragonair has a good lair. The chief Ranger is sad that his friend will leave the Safari zone, but happy that she found a good home and makes sure it is the best home for her as much as possible.
I then inform my mom about it and she makes sure to coordinate with chief Ranger to make space for the Dragonair. She is happy to have another powerful Pokemon in her habitat and an intelligent one at that from what I tell her.
The chief Ranger comes back after a month of setting up the habitat for new incoming Pokemon. He greets us with a 'job well done' and goes about his duties. We meet up with the rangers and Pokemon we got close to , to say goodbye and return to our journey.
We finished our fifth Gym with me taking on the Grass Gym,Eve the Poison and Ava taking on Electric Gym after our stint at Safari zone. Due to us already having 4 badges, the the Gym leaders could use their more powerful Pokemon.
I was taking on the Grass Gym so I didn't have much problem with my Ponyta and Pikachu having plasma attack.
But the girls each faced their first defeat before having to train up again to give another shot, where they were able to get the badges. We decided that we should go to Saffron City (home) for our 6th badge, while also destresing from our journey until now, with our family.
Ava had taken her own personal training much more seriously from the Fuchsia City's poison Gym's Ninjas. She had even learnt the move Poison Jab, by covering her arm in Poison energy and using punch taught to us by her grandfather's Hitmonchan. she is only able to cover a small area of her hand in that energy, but more will come with time and practice.
Eve had made fast Friends with the daughter of Grass type gym and her Tangela had grown stronger for it through the Gym's resources. With her practice of Focus Energy and Stockpile, she was able to herself learn the move Grass Knot where she commands two Grass petals to tie up over target's feet, tripping her target. Currently she can only do so in grassy area, but with enough practice and persistence, she might be able to use her energy to grow the Grass needed for the move as well.
Although I didn't really learn much from any Gym, Pikachu's one sided fights with his fellow electric types at the Electric Gym, even the fully evolved ones showed him that I was a trainer with trusting his life to. That I will make him the most powerfull Pokemon his species or any other have ever seen. This allowed us to tap into the phenomenon of battle bond, like Ash had with his Greninja.
Pikachu takes on some of my traits , his ear tips and tail tips turning silver (my hair color) instead of its usual black . The brown marks on its back turn blue, similar to my jacket's colour. Even I take on some of Pikachu's traits, gaining a blush to my cheeks and my hair becoming spiky and gaining a yellow aura/plasma around me. The yellow Aura reflects on my sliver/white hair making them look yellow/golden. (Yes I transform into supper Saiyan).
It takes all of my stamina and Pikachu's to stay in this form for barely even one minute, let alone be able to use this form in a drawn out match. One of the reasons I want to go back home so badly is to study this phenomenon with my mother and train to be able to sustain it constantly.
We make our way home, knowing that from now on, the Gym Battles are going to be much tougher and of higher level now that we will be compeating for the 6th badge. At this stage , Gym leaders start using Pokemon from their ACE teams . Stratagy and planning can only take you so far against the sheer power we are about to face.
