5 PSYCH
A/N: my stories are more in the style of journal than a scene/play. so most of the time I will be paraphrasing dialogue instead of writing charcters. if any of you think of a dialogue line that would fit my paraphrasing to be either funny, badass, dramatic or cool in any way or form, please set the dialogue (quote) in paragraph comment .

I wake up to the sound of chiming bells. I rub myself awake from the greatest sleep of both my lives.I look at the source of the sound of bells, only to see a big Ampharos , wagging it's tail, creating a sound from the gem at the end of its tail. I smile at him as I get off the bed and hug him calling him my 'phini'. I see that at the door to my room is my father, looking shocked.
I seem to have remembered some of this bodies past in my dream yesterday. I'm pretty sure that It was because I was using moves focus energy, calm mind and meditate as best as I could. It seems that Medicham, Galade and Wobbuffet's assumption that these moves will help me scratch out any innate talent I might have in regards to psychic energy was right.
I call my father Dad and run up to hug him as well. He hugs me back and I realise we are not alone. outside my room door, the whole koichi family and my mother were standing worried. When I asked what's up, they gave me a look that they should be the ones asking that, but tell me anyways.
Apparently when Ava and Eve couldn't wake me up, they asked Mr. Mime (nanny) for help. He determined that I had entered into a psychic trance , much like a Pokemon does when they use the move rest. It is a move that helps the user recover from phisical and mental stress, strain, injuries and toxins using body's innate systems .
When Mr. mime reported this to Wobbuffet, he convinced rest of the family to let me sleep until I get out of the trance myself. He explained to them how disturbing my trance would be detrimental to my mental recovery and that I have had a stressful month, the likes of which that would break an adult. This trance is a sign of recovery from stress and trauma that have accumulated from ever since i caught pichu up until I met my parents yesterday.
He explained that at the end of the trance, I will go into normal REM sleep, from which I could be woken up smoothly without compromising the progress made during trance. Which explains my father's starter phini(Ampharos) waking me up with the move heal Bell, that remove all status conditions on all that hear it. I explain to everyone how I recovered some of my memory in my dreams.
I run up to my mom and hug her. I told her I loved her. I then scolded her because of the light both my parents painted themselves in last evening. They were not some absent parents that I ran away from. Although they didn't say it, from the way they said their story last evening everyone could feel that they felt guilty and hence when they said the story, the listeners belived their guilt as well.
I explain to koichis how it's true that my father is always needed to make visits throught Jhoto, yet he always find time for me. He is literally responsible for saving the world if such scenario occurs and he still finds time to be back home as often as possible. I've never spent a day not having talked to him, at least through video call.
I also look at my mother and tell her how I remember the stories she told me and the names of my toys we both use to play around with. She always becomes a child around me and we both create an elaborate world of imagination where my toys are the participants/actors/charcters in those worlds. Every time she had to get too deep in her research, she would bring out her Slowking who would baby-sit me and use his telepathy as a constant connection between me and my mom, if I ever needed her.
When we got to Cerulean City, my mom thought that it would be good for Slowking to get into the huge aquarium and socialize with its inhabitants. Considering I was with my cousin and aunts and uncles, she didn't think it would be necessary to keep Slowking as chauffeur as well. This reminded me of my relatives and I asked my mom how they are, they must be distraught over my absence as well as the fact that I went missing from their home. I told her I wanted to apologise to them(my parents) and to my relatives for worrying them.
I then addressed the koichi family. I hugged each member of the family, including the Pokemon and hailed then as my saviours. I told them that I want to still train at the Dojo , since that is the main reason I have some of my memory back and that I want to keep my job at the restaurant. I told them that I would have to stay with my parents though if they filnd a dwelling in saffron city.
Both my parents smile throught lunch, seems that I slept through the breakfast. After lunch, we are ready to go to Crocus village. My dad is in an outfit that reminds me of genji from overwatch, but instead of metal, his suit is made of a dark leather pieces. when I asked him why, he smiled and said that it is his flight suit. he is surprised that I don't remember it and I say that I can only learn so much from one night's dream.
My mom brings out two of her Pokemon, a Slowking, who I have found memories of as my often nanny and one of my mom's most powerfull Pokemon. The other is a Ninjask, I don't have much memory of it. I hug the Slowking and it greets me in my mind. Sybil brings out her haunter and gets on it. since the girls already missed school due to worry over my extended sleep, Sybil decided to take them to see their grandmother as well.
Slowking used telekinesis on himself to make himself float weightlessly with its stomach facing the ground parallel to it. I got in his back like I remember doing often in my childhood as he would slowly float around the house. But with him alone, I don't think we will reach the village any faster than walking since he is very slow, enough that it's top speed is deemed safe for Toddlers to ride him.
That's when my mom climbed on the Slowking behind me and grabbed my waist while I grabbed onto Slowking's horns as if they were handles of a bike. She had the Ninjask attached to her back with all its strength. She then told me that the Ninjask is like a turbo boost to Slowking's speed, since he is weightless due to telekinesis, Ninjask can drag him along at any speed without writing about the weight.
She doesn't even give commands to Ninjask, but to Slowking. Then Slowking uses his his telekinesis to immediately pass down orders to Ninjask. She shows me by squeezing her knees that rest on Slowking, Slowking starts moving forward and I steer to right with its horn that I use as handle, it moves right, Ninjask even slows down to make the turn smoother.
Then I asked her why is the Ninjask attached to her back and not directly on Slowking, to which she replied that it is for her safely. If they are about to crash, Slowking will use its telepathy and it's own body to shield me while Ninjask will just fly upwards, carrying my mom with it, removing her from the danger.
Sybil has both her daughters on her lap now as she sits on haunter's hands. they both look like they want to ride Slowking after seeing me ride it, making Sybil sigh in embarrassment. My mother smiles and tells them that if Slowking allows , then they can ride him while they are at their grandma's.
My father brings out a Crobat that I have vague memory of. The Crobat then attaches itself to my father's suit, biting into a few holes in it that seems to be made for that purpose itself. Because Crobat's face is hidden behind my father's back, it looks like my father has wings coming out of his lower back. he then jumps into the air and suddenly wings become active and he starts flying. I can see that the Crobat gets his information on where to move based in how my father is tilting his body.
With all of us hovering/flying, it doesn't take long to reach Crocus village , where both the girls and me run to grandma Angie's house and hug her in greetings. My parents had a very emotional chat with the grandma, both showing their gratefulness for saving their son's life. They even got to thank the farmer Tojo, who helped me find the village and got me to grandma Angie's. To thank him, they gift him a suitcase full of leaf stone, an evolutionary stone very useful for most farming villages as both Vileplume and Victreebel require leaf stone to evolve.
They had a shiny stone with them, so they even offered grandma Angie to evolve her Roselia into a Roserade. Grandma Angie agreed and we all got to watch the beauty of evolution. It was my first time watching a Pokemon Evolve in this world. only thing that could compeat in its beauty are the Verity of Pokemon the world over.
I requested the still evolving roselia if she could release the same scent she did to calm me down on my first day here, to remember her old self by. she seemed to have agreed as we all smelt the air get filled with smell of roses. I am already rested well due to my trance in the morning, still the scent soothes me, removing fatigue from our travel here.
Reaction from others was much more clear. I could see the stress wash off my parents and Sybil and a serene smile make their way on to Eve and Ava's astonished face. Grandma Angie looked like she was losing wrinkles off her face every second with how serene the atmosphere was getting. Grandma Angie was the closest to the evolving Roselia so she got the biggest brunt of the smell it seems.
Suddenly Roselia touched the vine chair grandma was sitting on and it started glowing with her. Grandma had told me that Roselia made it from her powers, just like she made me a bed of vines in my first day here. This move made grandma come even closer to Roselia, so she decided to kiss the forehead of the evolving Pokemon, and also take a closer hit of the mesmerising smell. Only 10-20 seconds had passed since Roselia came in contact with shiny stone and started glowing, though it felt like much longer, when Roselia stopped glowing and in her place stood a beautiful and much taller Roserade.
She looked like a prime example of her species, except that her Cape was not just made of 4-6 humongous Rose leaves, instead it was made of many thorny vines that are covered in normal sized Rose leaves. She was also visibly taller than average of her species. She was hugging grandma, manipulating leaves and vines on her back, to make sure no thorn makes contact.
Roserade then greeted us all again as we congratulate her on her evolution. My mother in particular has her gleaming eyes on Roserade as her main research topic is Pokemon evolution. she was one of the main researchers behind the upgrade disck, the first man made evolutionary item for the first(contested) man made Pokemon, Porygon.
Us kids had a lot of fun playing with grandma, Roserade, Slowking and Haunter. Sybil was busy packing the sauces she came to take from grandma and later went to visit other locals that are close to her since her childhood. My parents went with Tojo to go "sight-seeing" around the village. we spent almost the whole day playing, keeping just enough time to have sunlight on our way back.
We reach back to saffron city by sunset. We then greeted kain and put the girls to bed. I decided to go back to hotel with my parents for the night, making them very happy. We enter an extremely luxurious hotel and continue in to what has to be one of its most expensive suite. the suite has 2 bedrooms, so I finally have a room to myself. My mom still asked me if I would like to sleep with them.i didn't have the heart to say no, realising everything they must have been through.
While lying down between my parents, I decided to try to repeat what I did last night to use the Pokemon move rest, but the harder I try it, the more far away it seems and breaks my concentration on meditation to remain calm. thus,I went to sleep once again in frustration.
