A/N: my stories are more in the style of journal than a scene/play. so most of the time I will be paraphrasing dialogue instead of writing charcters. if any of you think of a dialogue line that would fit my paraphrasing to be either funny, badass, dramatic or cool in any way or firm, please set the dialogue (quote l in paragraph comment .

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been in the village for a couple of days now. Everyone has been extremely kind and supportive. I found out that the old grandma that helped me out was named Angie and the old farmer that brought me to her and gave me his son's cloths is called Tojo. Tojo told me that best way to find out my past would be by reporting to the police in the city and see if anyone's looking for a missing child with my description.

The problem is that saffron city is atleast a day away and the roads are not safe enough for me to travel alone. I can't just ask anyone to drop everything and just take me to the city. Thankfully, grandma Angie's daughter Sybil, lives in saffron city with her husband and comes every week to the village to collect sauce grandma Angie makes for her restaurant. Grandma Angie said that Sybil knows all the recipies and had all the skill needed to make them herself but she prefers the ones made by grandma due to her using freshest ingredients grown in the village itself.

Sybil is the village's primary contact with with City. Although other residents have family in saffron city and other nearby cities, but Sybil is the only one that comes back to the village as often as once a week. I came to the village on a Thursday, while Sybil comes to the village every Monday. So I have a lot of time to kill in the village.

I spent my time living the village life, eating the freshest food, playing some sports with the local kids and their Pokemon. In this world one is eligible to become a trainer at age of 10. but that doesn't mean that everyone compeats in the Indigo league as soon as they start training Pokemon. Pokemon here work much like service animals did in my old world. Every aspect of life is affected by it, and just like to have a trained service animals you had to have a licence, you need a trainers licence to officially own a Pokemon.

You can befriend a Pokemon at any age, but before the age of 10 any Pokemon you own is your parents responsibility if they are willing to take such a responsibility, otherwise you have to wait till you turn 10. My situation is complex because I don't know my age for sure, so before I'm able to openly show pichu to the world, I have to find out about this body's age by either discovering it's past or having one of my teeth tested for age at a hospital if I can't find any clue to my past.

Most people only ever own one Pokemon their whole life because responsibility of owning a Pokemon is equivalent to having a child. Most people in Crocus village own grass types because they are most common type around here and most helpful in their day to day job of farming. A lot of people have Odish and Bellsprout line of Pokemon up to their second evolution due their secondary typing bring poison witch makes them fare better against bugs, main source of pest around here. Not many people have their third evolution due to necessity of leaf stone to evolve them further.

Most common Pokemon other than those are butterfree for similar reasons , but also because it can fly and carry small amount of weight for them, unlike grass type mentioned above. it also doesn't take much to evolve a caterpie up to butterfree so it is simple to obtain. Flying type Pokemon are still common pest so a few geodude and onix are not that uncommon to protect against them and act as pack mule or help with field work.

Due to lack of regulation in the village life, I have been able to interact with pichu openly without needing a licence. We have started to get along well. I learnt that it knows the moves charge, thunder shock, volt tackle, tackle and tail whip. due to its own ingenuity, it had developed another move based on volt tackle, thunder shock and charge where it used it's own life force to empower a bolt of lighting, which it used on me when we first met. But due to using it's own life force to empower the attack, it also hurts itself.

I interacted with all the villagers and their Pokemon, befriending them wherever i could. After the stressful reincarnation, a week in the peaceful village is exactly what I needed to destress and form a close bond with pichu. And just like that, almost a week passed and we finally greeted Sybil her welcome home. She arrived literally being carried in the hands of a levitating haunter.

Sybil greeted me and hugged me, telling me how her mom had been constantly taking about me on their phone calls and she did not exaggerate my cuteness causing me to blush. She greeted her mom and some of the village people close to her. She even brought some stuff from the city that the villagers requested on her previous visits, since they can't buy those stuff In villages . Angie complained to her how she never brought along her grand daughters, to which Sybil can only sigh at since her daughter's had school.

She packed up a few bags full of yields from the village and sauce her mother made and got back up on arms of the haunter, with me on her lap. due to his hands being not joint to it's body, the haunter could carry with both it's hands in any position without disturbing it's movement, vision or our comfort. because it had the ability to levitate, the ride to saffron city was probably the smoothest ride I've had in either lives. on our way there, Sybil told me how it takes a day if travel on foot, but traveling like this in a fast Pokemon like haunter should only take us 2 hours of riding .
