Out of Nowhere: A Timely Rescue

Floyd swiftly caught Kanraku, who had been forcefully thrown away. Despite his quick action, Kanraku winced in pain. Floyd is clutching his injured right arm, evidently injured. "Professor, are you okay?" Floyd asked with evident concern in his voice.

"Hahaha, thank you, Floyd-san, for your timely intervention," Kanraku replied, managing an awkward smile despite his discomfort. He had been given a princess-style hug by Floyd, a gesture that, while comforting, was a bit surprising. Sensing the awkwardness, Kanraku quickly took a step back, prompting Floyd to gently let him go.

Turning his attention to the sky, Floyd observed, "This relentless rain should theoretically give a boost to the water type Pokémon, but I'm not entirely sure if it's sufficient to turn the tide." His eyes scanned the sky, as if searching for an answer within the stormy clouds.

"Floyd-san, who exactly did you provoke? And what is that monstrous creature?" Kanraku inquired, his eyes fixed on Ursaluna. His confusion was palpable; it was his first encounter with such a formidable Pokémon.

"That's likely the evolved form of Ursaring, and a particularly tough one at that, given its Elite-level status," Floyd explained, his gaze narrowing as he assessed the creature.

"Elite-level?" Kanraku echoed the term, unfamiliar with this classification.

"There's no time to delve into it now. I'll explain everything later," Floyd said hurriedly, his focus shifting back to the imminent threat as he moved closer to the scene of the battle, his mind racing with tactics.

Determined not to be left behind, Kanraku declared, "I will also go!" and followed Floyd determinedly.

Meanwhile, Ursaluna, clearly enraged by the two water type Pokémon, particularly by Gyarados, recoiled from a recent attack. It attempted to retaliate with its hammer arm, targeting Gyarados, but its strike missed.

Blastoise, having previously lost balance, regained its footing and used Rapid Spin to reposition itself, then followed up with a powerful Hydro Pump.

Wheeeesh BANG!

"ROAR!" Ursaluna's roar reverberated through the air as it charged at Blastoise, using High Horsepower.

At the same time, Gyarados countered with a fierce Crunch.

The two mighty Pokémon collided, the impact sending shockwaves around them. Both sustained injuries, but Ursaluna was quicker to recover.

Gyarados, attempting to step back, was caught off guard. Ursaluna, seizing the opportunity with perfect timing, grabbed Gyarados' tail and slammed it forcefully onto the ground. BANG!

Gyarados, already weakened from earlier battles against a group of Pokémon, felt his strength waning even further after this encounter with Ursaluna. Ursaluna, not letting up, prepared to strike Gyarados with its Headlong Rush.

(AN: Just a reminder, I'm being realistic here, although in the game Ground moves don't affect Flying-type Pokémon, but once the Flying type Pokémon stay on the ground, they are still affected by it. I'm just having trouble with a Flying-type Pokémon who can't fly.)

However, just in time, Blastoise intervened, rushing in with Protect.

BANG! The sound echoed as Blastoise took the brunt of the attack. "Blas-" he muttered, collapsing, his eyes beginning to close, signaling his exhaustion.

Ursaluna, seizing the moment, prepared to unleash Bulldoze towards the weakened duo.

"SHIT!" Floyd couldn't suppress his exclamation as he surveyed the worsening situation. Desperately, he began hurling meteorite stones at Ursaluna, mirroring his Pokémon who also flung their spare meteorite stones at the formidable foe.

Ursaluna, however, was not easily deceived this time. He paused momentarily, eyeing the incoming projectiles, but continued his relentless advance.

"PARTNER!" Kanraku yelled, attempting to rush into the fray. Floyd, however, firmly grasped Kanraku, restraining him. "Floyd-san, let me go," Kanraku pleaded, struggling against Floyd's grip.

Floyd, unwavering, didn't relent. The risk was too great. As Ursaluna prepared to unleash Bulldoze, Floyd shouted commands to his Pokémon, "Everyone, stop him! Use your strongest moves!"

Dratini launched into Extreme Speed, a blur of motion.

Growlithe, engulfed in flames, executed a Flame Wheel.

Horsea, with focused intensity, unleashed Water Pulse.

The five Goomys, in unison, let loose a barrage of Dragon Breath attacks.

The young Gyarados, with a mighty effort, used Waterfall.

Munchlax executed a powerful Body Slam.

BANG!

"ROAR!" Ursaluna roared in frustration. The barrage of attacks didn't cause significant damage, but the interruption infuriated him. He raised his arms to smash down his opponents, but then, out of nowhere, he was slammed hard.

BANG!

"FRA-XURE!" Fraxure, his eyes blazing with extreme red fury and his body surging with Dragon Energy, he could not stand idly by as his younger brother was in danger. Despite still recovering from previous injuries, Fraxure launched into an Outrage attack, his body pulsating with energy, ready to confront the Elite-level threat.

"DAMN IT!" Floyd exclaimed, now rushing towards the battle, leaving Kanraku behind. In a swift rescue effort, the young Gyarados swooped in, gathering Dratini, Growlithe, and Munchlax. However, in its hasty maneuver, the Gyarados lost control of his glide, crashing nearby. Despite the rough landing, they managed to escape to safety.

But Fraxure was in a dire situation. As Floyd rushed toward him, Ursaluna slapped Fraxure, sending him crashing into Floyd. Both were sent flying from the impact, tumbling across the battlefield.

"Cough~ Cough~ F-fraxure, are you okay?" Floyd gritted his teeth in pain; his right shoulder was heavily injured. He tapped Fraxure's body, but the latter didn't respond.

Fraxure had already lost consciousness, lying motionless on the ground. Floyd, overwhelmed by desperation, exclaimed, "Damn, damn, we're going to die here!"

The elite-level opponent they faced was beyond their capabilities; even a peak Ace like Blastoise was struggling to compete. Despite their varied and desperate attempts to combat it, nothing seemed effective against such a formidable foe.

"What am I going to do, what am I going to-" Floyd's thoughts were racing, searching frantically for a solution, when suddenly he heard footsteps approaching from behind. Turning around, his mouth dropped open in shock.

"ROAR!" The sound reverberated through the air, full of fury and power.

"PARTNER!" Kanraku, seeing the perilous situation, dashed towards Blastoise. As Ursaluna prepared to deliver a potentially fatal blow, Kanraku embraced Blastoise, and then, unexpectedly, a swarm of small spore particles surged toward Ursaluna. The mighty Pokémon, caught off guard, began to hallucinate, halting its attack.

In the midst of this chaos, two vines swiftly entwined around Gyarados, Kanraku, and Blastoise, pulling them away from the imminent danger posed by Ursaluna.

"SAUR!" A new, powerful voice called out. To everyone's surprise, Venusaur, one of the Kanto Starters, had appeared on the scene. This unexpected arrival on the island was a game-changer.

Floyd, though astonished, quickly refocused his attention on the immediate crisis. He activated his Dragon Power, directing it towards Fraxure and Gyarados, with a particular emphasis on the latter. "Gyarados, wake up, we need to run, hurry!" Floyd called out urgently. He then turned to Kanraku, "Professor, use your ability, wake up Blastoise!"

"I'll do it! Partner, wake up!" Kanraku, tapping into his viridian force, directed it towards Blastoise, attempting to rouse the powerful Pokémon.

"ROAR!" Even in a sleep-induced state, Ursaluna's rage was palpable. In the background, Floyd's other Pokémon, including the young Gyarados, rushed to the scene.

Not wasting a moment, Floyd rummaged through his supplies and extracted healing powder, Figy Berry, Oran Berry, Wiki Berry, Mago Berry, and various other types of berries, all with healing properties. He quickly administered them to Fraxure, Gyarados, and Blastoise.

As he did so, the surroundings began to transform. The area became lush with vegetation, and countless green plants emerged, enveloping each Pokémon, healing them gradually. Floyd, in awe, murmured to himself, "This… is this Grassy Terrain?"
