EPISODE 84: Fleet!***

A fleet of Team Rocket helicopter vehicles sets for a straight course to the city of Goldenrod without anyone fully aware of what is to happen. Me and Virgo, we rode at Xeryll's helicopter, after all, she is our pilot. As for the other members, they also have a pilot of their own too.

From the sky, we are like a swarm of bees buzzing around, heading to one direction while following the queen which is the ship of our executives. Seeing us roam the skies of Johto has brought fear and panic to many civilians. Unlike the Rebirth Society, we do not have any invisibility technology. Though the crowd may see us from below, we are not afraid to run from the shadows.

"Giovanni. They really think he'll be returning." I mumble nervously, doubting that the plan of the executives will work in the first place.

"Come on, have hope, Luna." Virgo encourages.

"So, you believe the executives don't you?"

"I mean, I find it fine to try right? What could possibly go wrong?"

"A lot of things can go terribly wrong. Just right now we're exposing ourselves and dragging the attention of the Pokemon International Police!" I complain, exaggerating my words by a bit.

Upon arriving at the city, ladders are thrown to dangle down for the agents to exit the helicopters and land on the ground. Everyone is in deep fear, they bit their lips with their body shivering gravely as they scramble like ants to find city. Our Pokemon burst forth the doors of the radio station as if they are bombs set aflame. The whole city is in chaos, and the order has been destroyed.

Those trainers nearby, they would attack our members however they were only met with defeat. Me and Virgo even helped out, attacking trainers who would attack us first. Once the doors burst forth, smoke grenades are thrown at the employees as we make our way to the top of the tower with the executives in the lead. Other members stayed at the ground floor, guarding the tower from the Pokemon International Police whom we assume should be here any second now.

On the pinnacle of the tower, is a room where the microphone connecting to radios and other forms of technology is located. If we are to speak unto it we will be cutting different channels region-wide and interrupting them with our desperate speech in hopes to persuade Giovanni to return.

The doors burst open, and we are met by a highly unexpected surprise. Two guards with their Pokemon aggressive prepared to attack while protecting the chief of the Goldenrod Radio Tower. The match ended quickly and the guards met defeat.

Two is no match against a galore of grunts. With the guards taken care of, the chief of the Goldenrod Radio Tower has been held captive, tied with ropes, and thrown into the basement of the tower. For our limited time, Professor Olive and the other scientists of Team Rocket took charge of hacking the systems. We waited patiently.

"Where are they?" I question with perplexity while staring unto the city from above. I was in shock to see not even a single officer or police responding to our schemes. I'm not saying that I want that to happen but still, it seems suspicious that none of them are responding.

I feel like we're being tricked of some sort. No helicopters nor armored vehicles are in sight.

"What are you looking for Luna?" Virgo asks after noticing the strange way I stare down from the window.

"Something's not right. The police aren't here."

"Then that's better right?"

"I do not think so. I believe there is something suspicious happening. Our attack was massive enough to cause a riot of trainers to attack our grunts from below but I believe it is also massive enough to alert the officers of this current situation. Come with me, we need to investigate something." I explain, grabbing her hand and leaving the control room of the tower. My decision has given me a suspicious presence towards the executives.

"Luna? Virgo? Where are you going?" Ariana questions.

"We'll be helping out the grunts below. Don't worry, just tell me when Professor Olive has hacked the systems, we'll return right away." I excuse.

"Just keep your words. You may go." Archer concurs and sets us free.

Like a Rapidash, we rush through the corridors. I was not planning to help out the grunts from below but was actually heading to the CCTV room. I had no time to explain to Virgo what is happening while I ran, sacrificing my lungs for the safety of this mission.

"Luna! What is happening?!" Virgo asks, demanding answers but I choose to ignore her as I take control over the CCTVs. I observe closely, watching every grunt inside the vicinity, and at the CCTV showing the scenarios happening on the ground floor, I noticed something peculiar about a few grunts.

"I've never seen these men before," I mumble nervously.

"Luna, what are you talking about?!" Virgo persists to grab my attention while I observe closer. I zoom in the camera, and I knew it. One of the hairs of those peculiar grunts belongs to no other than a friend of mine, Jenny.

"We've been outsmarted," I mumble nervously again.

"Virgo, they are amongst us. A wolf in a sheep's wool, there are officers disguised as grunts."

"We should alert the executives," Virgo suggests however abruptly the door slams shut. I do not blame the wind for this because all the air conditioners have been shut down during our infiltration.

"I'm afraid your time is up." From behind, a voice murmurs to the two of us. Me and Virgo are left with no choice but to flinch as we perspire heavily. My Pokemon are worn out from fighting against the trainers who persist to attack us.
