Nightfall came, draining the once red and orange hues of the skies and replacing them with darkness. Alongside this darkness, is Jenny's cold room. Despite this, she kept the lights in her room closed, sealed. Perhaps this case has made her a nyctophile.
Soon, the weather rushed to the scene, and blobs of water formed outside. The water blended with the tears of the civilian who lost their loved ones and houses because of the previous harsh event. Though, some people thought of this as interesting, and one of these is no other than Jenny.
On her desk were the two pictures of the towns affected by the earthquake, Fallarbor and Lavaridge. She pondered on the photographs, finding anything peculiar amongst them. Suddenly, her investigation was put to a halt when Detective Looker called Jenny again.
This was the detective's twentieth time to call Jenny for this night, and summing up the whole day, that would range above fifty. The detective's calls only made Jenny even more stressed but now that she knows how angry the detective is, she wonders if she should be answering or not.
With all her guts, knowing that the detective would scold her, Jenny answered the call. She was brave to do so, as if she was a sheep fighting against the upcoming roars of a lion.
"Jenny! Why weren't you answering for more than six months! Your reports, where are they there?!" The detective shouted ferociously.
"I'm sorry detective-"
"Sorry?! You think I'll accept that afte-" after interrupting her words, though she did not want to, Jenny hung up and dropped her phone at the desk, wishing that she never pressed the answer button in the first place.
There she focused back at the two portraits and noticed somehow an unusual pattern. Both towns are near the volcano, both have Magma Hideouts, and that could only mean one thing. She stood up right away with a permanent marker on her hand. She circled Mount Chimney and opened her phone to research more about the landmass.
This volcano towers to a height of nearly 5,000 feet. The view from its peak is beyond compare. Rocks are colored in red because of the heat trapped inside of them. The volcano is shrouded with a lot of heat spots, capable of causing lava geysers any time.
"If my hypothesis is correct, then that means Team Magma's secret headquarters must be here, somewhere inside the volcano. It is impossible for such an earthquake to happen out of nowhere especially when the volcano is not erupting and remains dormant," she told herself.
"That's it! I can find answers there myself and prove my hypothesis is true. No time to waste, it is time to rush to the site." Jenny was feeling exuberant all of a sudden. She was then disturbed when the detective tried to call her again. Without thinking about what to do, she declined the call immediately and rushed to her wardrobe.
Despite the rain, she is willing to travel to the volcano. She wore her jacket, covered her head with the hood of her jacket and took the umbrella hanging on the door. She then locked her room and dashed down the staircase and into her motorcycle.
"My, that woman is always busy." said, one of the maid as she watched Jenny leave the vicinity.
"Well, you know teenagers, active at night, sleeping at day. They should be classified as nocturnal species." teased, the other maid, wiping off a stain of dirt atop the counter of the cashier.
The time is currently midnight. Everybody is expected to be at their beds, sleeping with their Pokemon as Team Rocket's scheme begins. As our team captain, Melody made the decision to commence the mission at midnight so lesser people would see us. Meanwhile, Jenny is on her way to the mountain to investigate things.
What surprising events are coming? The answers are to come as the journey continues. Something big awaits us at the volcano.
Through the helicopter window, I can see the towns of Fallarbor and Lavaridge. Seeing them personally as the product of the earthquake makes me want to pour all my sympathy at it.
