38 The final days in Cerulean City
On this date, millions of people had their eyes glued to the T.V because not one but four more evolution of Eevee were announced.
Eevee was already famous for its three evolution, now with four more added the popularity soared again.
The person who was responsible for the discovery of the new evolution was Professor Gunhildr who wore a mask to hide his face.
He not only gave a detailed explanation of the Eevee line but also the steps to evolve Eevee to the new evolution branches.
Back in Orange town, Aoki's mother was watching the telecast.
'Isn't that our son?'
'I never expected the weird things he did with our Eevee to actually work. I remember him rumbling about friendship evolution..this and that but it really happened.
It's good to see his hard work bringing results.
I was about to send him money forcefully but seems like it wouldn't be needed now. ' a smile appeared on her face.

Aoki had thought that Professor Oak would be the one announcing the Eevelutions but he was made to do it instead the day before yesterday.
The building of the Researcher Alliance was a very interesting place. It was a seven-floored building with three floors above ground and four floors underground.
Nobody was allowed inside without an ID or invitation letter from an insider. Every floor was filled with advanced machines which are checked every day to make sure they are working properly.
There were even training floors for people to train their Pokemon.
He asked around the professors who knew his identity and found out that Professor Oak helped a lot of people conduct experiments for them but never took credit for it.
Similar to Professor Oak there are Professors who conduct experiments on behalf of others for free or take money.
The people where were very welcoming and gave Aoki a short tour of the place.
Aoki found that he could buy many resources for his Pokemon there which are not available in the market.
Aoki could buy research papers from other professors that were not available to the public or sell his research papers to others. If his theories were approved by the senior professors, they would be sold to the general public.

Current time
Outside the forest of Cerulean City Aoki and his Pokemons were gathered for mock battles.
After making his Pokemon learn new moves Aoki made them fight each other only using those moves to increase the mastery even further.
Every Pokemon got a chance to fight each other except Bagon as he was just born yesterday.
Bagon watched every match while glittering with excitement.
The current Bagon was far from the prideful dragon instead was a very cheerful guy. He instantly connected with everyone in the group and tried to get their attention, especially Clefairy who became his favorite after Aoki.
Today was the day Bagon had the first thirst for battle watching all of Aoki's Pokemon fight.
Like Nidorino he also made Charmeleon his goal to surpass even though he was the third strongest in the team.
In the mock battles, Weepinbell got back his rank of the strongest in the team followed by Pidgeotto, Charmeleon, Nidorino, and finally Clefairy as Nidorino worked very hard to counter Clefairy's attacks.
The most improvement was shown by Pidgeotto and Weepinbell among all of them.
The mastery Pidgeotto showed was so astronomical that people would think Pidgeotto is a steel-type Pokemon.
Aoki had given Pidgeotto the T.M for Hyper Beam as he thought that she was getting left out.
That required a huge amount of energy and long recharge time so mastery of Hyperbeam was added to the training plan of Pidgeotto.
Aoki was very satisfied with everyone's performance and rewarded everyone with their favorite food and massage.
Bagon also became a fan of Aoki's cooking and demanded more.
Even just 2 days after being born his appetite surpasses Clefairy.
After all the fights were done, Aoki returned to Misty's mansion.
"Welcome back Professor Gunhildr !!! " Misty greeted excitedly along with her whole family.
Misty's family along with David congratulated him for being one of the youngest professors.
Although only the last name was mentioned, Misty made clear the real identity of the person.
Misty said that there was going to be a cooking competition tomorrow in which a bicycle would be given to the winner. She had already entered Aoki's name for it.
A bicycle would be a great addition to his journey.
The next day Aoki entered the building where the competition would be held. There were around 60 contestants and 20 judges at the event.
Everyone was made to prepare several dishes for different rounds and as expected Aoki won by making the judges have a foodgasm.
He received a foldable and geared Bicycle, a trophy, and some cooking recipes.
Aoki and Misty decided to leave for Vermillion city after three more days as Aoki wanted his Bagon to grow up a little more.
After a few days, Bagon's appetite has surpassed everyone at the party making everyone amazed by the amount of food he can eat.
Aoki restocked all his supplies and bought an advanced Pokeblock Machine and new food plates.
Aoki bought one more ultra ball and shifted all his Pokemons to ultra balls for better space.
He now had a lot of money which is going to increase more in the future so he decided to spend more on his Pokemon.
Misty didn't take away the Cascade badge for free but defeated one of her sisters in the battle to earn the badge.
After bidding farewell to everyone Aoki and Misty started their journey to Vermillion city to get the 3rd league badges.

" Where are you going mom, dad ? " asked Lily to father when she saw him back a bag.
"It's been a while since I left Cerulean city. I have decided to meet up with some of my friends " said David as Zenith packed more things
"That's a good idea, have a safe journey. I will inform Daisy and Violet about it. "
David took out his bike from the garage and started driving towards Peter city.
"Orange town huh… It gonna take a while to reach there. "

Somewhere in an underground room
A black-haired middle-aged man could be seen sitting while petting a large Persian.
He was Giovani, the leader of the team rocket.
The door of his room opened and a green-haired woman wearing the uniform of team rocket entered.
"This is all the current reports, sir! " said the woman. She was Emily, the assistant of Giovani.
"Read out all of them Emily, " said Giovani.
"Yes sir!
First is the investigation of professor Gunhildr. We could only find three people with the name last name Gunhildr. Two of them are famous chefs while the other one is their son that won the junior cup a few weeks ago "
"The trainer is most probably professor Gunhildr. Any more information on him? "
"His last name is not in the league database most likely suppressed. No idea about his Pokemon but he is traveling with the daughter of the Cerulean Gym leader and currently had 3 badges.
He was in the Cerulean city when the news of the new Eevee evolution was released " the woman said.
"Warn everyone not to make contact with his family, if he really is professor Gunhildr, his family would be protected first. It's better to avoid him for now as the old fossil Oak might try to promote him. We are in an important phase right now so it's better to avoid any trouble.
What about the Nate brat? "
"He is requesting another rare pokemon "
"Don't give him any new Pokemon until he gathers more credit. Just because his father asked us to take care of him doesn't mean he can do whatever he wants. Read the next report "
