Aoki took out his Pokeball of Nidoran and scanned its details with Pokedex.

There was another fat merchant who was selling a super rare pokemon for 5k poke dollars.

Aoki went near the stall and saw that there were Magikarps of different colors swimming in the tank. None of them were Golden in color so Aoki didn't pay attention anymore.

Misty whispered in Aoki's ears that all of them were just dyed in different colors.

As she grew up watching Magikarps she could tell by the behavior and pattern on their body that none of them were going to evolve into Gyarados.

The merchant tried to sell the Magikarps with sweet-talking but Aoki and Misty totally ignored him. " Stop scamming people if you don't want to get arrested, " said Misty to the merchant.

The merchant wanted to argue back but Misty showed the ID of a gym apprentice of Cerulean city to scare him more.

Aoki's focus was attracted by another merchant who was selling Pokemon eggs.

"Where are you from Mister? You don't look like a native of the Kanto region " asked Aoki to the merchant

" Hohhot You recognized my attire, yes kid I am from Hoen Region. I have a business of selling Pokemon eggs. "

There were two sections of eggs, one in which the Pokemon that would be hatching was mentioned while in the other section, complete white eggs.

There were labels on the eggs which had the names of the species that would hatch from the egg. The Pokemons in the eggs were Pichu, Hoothoot, Wurmple, Magikarp, Wingull, Ratata, Sunkern. Unfortunately, all the Pokemons were of no interest to Aoki.

He began looking at the unidentified eggs and something surprised him.

Aoki who was subjected to the dragon-type aura of Charmander regularly could tell that one of the eggs emitted faint dragon-type energy.

"Oh, you are interested? one for 25k Pokedollars for the identified ones and 20k for the unidentified ones and another 4k for an incubator "

When he was asked why he choose the egg, Aoki answered that he choose a random egg. While the merchant was preparing his egg, he talked with him some more.

"Do you have a license for selling eggs?"

"Of course, I have a license, I don't have to get arrested for money "

"What do you do with the eggs that don't sell out "

"I either sell them to the league to be distributed to trainers or give them to taken care of ".

"How long have you been in Kanto region ?"

"I came here two weeks ago with my friends as I said earlier. I plan to leave with them after a month on a ship from Vermillion City ".

"I see.

Do you know that guy who is selling Magikaps there? "

"No, I don't know him. Don't buy from him kid, he is a scammer "

The merchant gave him an incubator with a liquid for the growth of the Pokemon.

" Thank you for your patronage! "

There were a lot of possibilities for the Pokemon in the egg, it could be a good dragon bloodline Magikarp, A Trapinch, or if his luck shines a Dratiny or Bagon as Salamance and Dragonite lay their eggs near a water source.

Misty after arguing with the stranger, Misty came back to Aoki.

"Did you buy a Pokemon egg? I advise you to keep it close to your body to make it familiar to your warmth " said Misty.

Aoki listened to her and tied the egg incubator with his bag and carried it. He silently told Misty the specialty of the egg making her laugh.

"Looks like you hit a jackpot Aoki, I have experience in taking care of an egg so I will help you with it, " she said.

Aoki asked if Misty wanted an egg so she said that the current number of her Pokemon was enough for her.

"What happened to the Magikarp seller ?"

" He would stop coloring his Magikarps. If he still continues by the end of the day, police will be coming after him.

Even if he gets away doing that, it's the person's fault who would fall for his scheme."

"Forget about him. Let's restock our supplies "
