Nate's fight against Aoki was an international hit.

Aoki's fans all over the world received a rush of adrenaline watching Aoki's Charizard in action.

Steven and Cynthia both felt a sense of urgency to get stronger watching the video.

"What a monster…."Alfred muttered seeing Aoki's match.

"That Charizard is even stronger than that of Lance, I don't think my team can face him," Lorelei said watching the match.

"You still have to fight him and uphold your duties as an Elite four. " Alfred said smiling at Lorelei.

"Stop giving that smile as if you can already vision my terrible defeat, Dad!"

Misty shook her head and called back Gyarados.

'I still have a long way to go' Misty thought and walked away from the field.

In the beginning, she managed to take down Asmodeus's Rhyperior and Machamp but then came Entei.

Misty lost three of her Pokemon and was able to take down Entei.

Suicune took down two of her Pokemon before going down making Misty only left with Gyarados who didn't last long against Raikou.

"Don't make that face, be proud that you defeated two legendary Pokemon with your team" Agatha said standing in the hallway.

"If I can be proud with just this, I can't go further" Misty replied.

Agatha smiled hearing what Misty said.

"That's right….

If you wish to rise to the rank of elite four and catch up to stars like Aoki, you can't stop here.

I better prepare myself, since I will be fighting our beloved Professor Gunhildr very soon"

Agatha said walking away.

Misty shook her head and walked towards the participant's area to meet Aoki.

"You did amazing Misty, but you are not ready to face an aura-powered legendary yet," Aoki said.

"I know, I need to increase the attack power of my Pokemon even more".

"Right, from what I have seen so far, your technique has increased a lot but you are lacking in firepower. "Aoki said.

"Agatha said the same earlier, I will start training for that while traveling to Johto with Agatha.

That aside, did you get Nate? You wanted information out of him right?" Misty asked.

"Darkrai tried but Nate escaped with a type of teleportation used by one of Giratiana's retainers" Aoki replied.

The next day, millions of people worldwide watched Aoki and Asmodeus walk toward the field for their match.

If it were a normal Pokemon league match, viewers from other regions wouldn't show much interest but this one was different because of Aoki.

Aoki's research discoveries and his performance in the Youth Cup made him a celebrity and inspiration for trainers.

Although Asmodeus's three legendary Pokemon set up a storm Aoki's presence made it more interesting.

From Aoki's previous performance, people already started betting on Aoki winning but what people were most interested in was what Pokemon Aoki would be using.

"Show me, Aoki! how far you have learned from Chongyun" Asmodeus said releasing his first Pokemon.

Gary slowly and carefully walked past the crowd of people sitting in the stadium and sat between Borck and Daisy.

He looked around and found Ash sitting closer to the field since he had tickets due to being a participant.

"Where were you?! You missed half of the match" Daisy rebuked Gary.

"Ugg! Stop screaming in my ears Daisy!

My ears are already ringing from all the screams of the audience. " Gary said

"Fine, I will update you on what happened so far. " Brock said.

"Both Aoki and Asmodeus are students of the fighting-type gym leader Chongyun so they wanted to test out each other's skills rather than damage output.

Aoki's Nidoking fought against Chongyun's Feraligatr, Machamp, and Rhyperior and defeated all three of them.

All of them didn't use big moves but rather material arts to fight.

Currently, we have a fifteen-minute break before the second half of the match starts "

"So I am not late for the important part of the battle, I want to see how Aoki fights against the legendary Pokemon" Gary said.

"I accept that you are better that your Pokemon are better than mine in marital arts, let's now test the firepower shall we ?" Asmodeus said sending out his first legendary dog Suicune.

Aoki smiled and released Articuno starting an uproar among the audience.

Nobody expected Aoki to respond to a legendary with a legendary.

"Domain of ice Articuno "

With an ear-piercing cry from Articuno, the battlefield immediately froze including Suicune.

Large spikes of ice covered the field completely preventing anyone from confirming the condition of Suicune.

The scene of Asmodeus changed as he found himself standing in a cave covered in ice.

Suicune stood in front of him completely frozen in ice.

Even with aura, Suicune could not move.

'This is the same as the time I fought Ho-oh.

A legendary domain.' Asmodeus thought.

The ice covering Suicune was different from normal ice…..the ice continuously drained Suicune's energy.

"Fine, you win this round, " Asmodeus said.

"Retract your ice Articuno, that's enough " Aoki's voice rang inside the cave of ice as slowly the ice started retracting revealing a fainted Suicune.

Some people questioned if they were watching the real thing.

First of all, seeing two legendary Pokemon in one place was already near to impossible scene.

And now they witnessed, the legendary Suicune go down with just one move from Articuno.

"This Articuno is abnormally strong than it should be " Oak muttered from his lab.

"Of course, it would be abnormal…..

Pokemon like Mew, Darkrai, Celebi, and that monster you created Mewtwo are working with Aoki.

I would question if something was even normal about him" Alakazam said.

"You are right….

It's better if we don't question anything related to him, it will only increase our headache " Oak said as he continued watching the match.

The match continued as Asmodeus sent out Entei who tried to melt all that ice but the ice formed faster than Entei could melt.

Even as a legendary, Entei's flames could not match the power of Articuno's ice.

If Entei knew how to utilize the legendary domain, it might have stood a chance but Articuno was just too strong for Entei to handle and went down to an Ice beam.

The same thing happened to Raikou as Articuno tanked all of his lightning attacks like nothing.

'The hell is wrong with his Pokemon!!

It's even stronger than the Ho-Oh I faced before!' Asmodeus watched in shock as his Raikou went down too.

If Aoki could take such a Pokemon, Asmodeus wondered how strong his team was.

He was on a completely different level.

With all three Pokemon of Asmodeus eliminated Aoki won the match.

"You win….

Can't say I enjoyed the match but it was a learning experience, Aoki.

Meet you in the award Ceremony" Asmodeus said walking away still smiling.

Time seemed to have slowed down as people started to realize what had taken place.

People all over the world witnessed a Pokemon league that they would never forget in their lives.

After one year and months after starting his journey, Aoki Gunhildr at the age of 17 won the Pokemon Indigo conference.

Aoki observed all over the stadium as people cheered for him and called his name.

Taking out a Pokeball Aoki released his Victreebel.

"Remember the dream we saw on our first-day partner?

We completed one of our goals today….winning the Pokemon League.
