Beating up kids and oh shit I found a fossil

When I woke up, I woke up Wimpod too. I started the day off with 10 lap's around the beach we were on. It was easily 5 times that of the lap's I used to do on the playground at the orphanage.

Wimpod did all of them with me. His legs may be small but he did through pure perseverance. I love this little guy. After that we both got right to training but I have yet to see what our bond weapon will be. So I guess I'll just start raising money which you can get from the tournament.

It's just as much of a school test as it is a rookie tournament which will be broadcasted on what I have no idea maybe TV's are already invented. Probably actually because I have seen some pretty cool Pokedex design like a watch or I even saw a senior at the school with glasses that had screens on the inside. Still no cell phones though. * Sigh*

Pretty dope if I do say so myself but back to the grind.

I realized that Wimpod was close to being able to use [Razor Shell] he just needed to actually use it in a fight and feel what it's like to strike a target with it. He was able to cut into the boulder he practices on but he needs to be able to control it afterwards too so he can attack multiple times with it.

An I've been itching to have a pokemon battle for a while now and now seems like the perfect time. So what did I do I went to go piss off some spoiled snobs.

"Alright then if your so much better than me commoner fight me!" A boy with green hair exclaimed.

It didn't take long to piss him off just say all of the other trial captains are stronger than the one at shade jungle and call his parent a weakling who can't keep up.

" It would be rude of me to not accept after such a heartfelt request!" I say with sarcasm leaking from my words like an Arboks fangs after it uses poison bite.

Wimpod hopped off of my healer shoulder and he tossed his PokeBall out to reveal a Fomantis. Well I do want to practice razor shell and it would be a flex to beat his pokemon with only not very effective move but it's Wimpods first battle I won't put that bad of a handy cap on him.

"Ready when you are." I say with a condescending smirk on my face.

" Then here goes nothing, Fomantis use [ Leafage] on the Wimpod." The moss head ordered but right after so did I.

"Wimpod dodge it with quick attack and keep hitting it with [Razor Shell] " As both of our pokemon start to attack we do to.

I charge him and slide my foot in between his legs stopping him from dodging. He sent a punch at my head before I even started to throw mine. ' hmph tough luck kid.'

I twist my body alongside his arm, grab onto it and using his momentum and my strength to judo slam him. As soon as he hit the ground he uses some gymnast level flexibility to kick me directly in my stomach and kicking me off of his arm. He was winded but still awake.

He isn't exactly scrawny but that's to be expected, his parents a trial captain they all know how important physical fighting capability is they are tasked with making sure totem pokemon don't run rampant and stay in their territory.

" Fomantis [Magical Leaf] now!" But that didn't stop Wimpod. He used quick attack to maneuver around the leads that wear attacking him. He accidentally let the water energy meant for his [Razor Shell] into his [Quick Attack] and created bootleg [Aqua Jet] which he used to ram into the little leaf mantis and knock it to the ground and from there forward Wimpod just barraged his enemy until it fainted.

" Wimpod try [Aqua Jet] on the moss head." And he listened for a good minute or so the leaf brat took the attacks pretty well but once I got him in an arm lock onto his knees he couldn't take anymore of the beating and passed out.

I put his Fomantis back into it's PokeBall and placed him at the edge of the main camp.

Not my problem, he challenged me remember.

Me and Wimpod have been walking in the jungle for hours. Fighting some pokemon we didn't come across any actual stronger pokemon, they were stronger than the jungle brats Fomantis though.

Wimpod and I have found a cave which we were standing at the entrance of. After bit of contemplation we decided to head inside what's the worse that could be inside here.

As we went deeper into the cave I brought out a flashlight I had 'found' 'outside' of the bag of the jungle brat. I pointed the flashlight up and saw nothing but a few stalactites. We kept going deeper and deeper into the cave and the only thing there was big ass stone pile a bit bigger than Wimpod.

Until I put the flashlight on it that is. After seeing the general shape of the 'rock' I went to it and started to dig into the pile of rocks.

I and sure enough I found it. The rock in my hands was almost as heavy as my training boulders back home combined. It was in the shape of a shell.

I quickly run out of the cave with Wimpod following behind me, probably wondering why I have a face splitting grin on my face.

' I found a Dome fossil!'
