360 CH127 (357), The Bunny, And Magical Music
Mr. Cameron simply congratulated me on my new partner and reminded me to be at his office at 9 a.m on Kyoday for my visit to the Pancham habitat.
Afterward, I made it back home and dinner was great as usual. Like always, we talked about our day while we ate, and after dinner, Mom insisted on seeing/being introduced to Buneary.
As soon as the initial introductions were over, she took Buneary into her arms, with Buneary's permission of course, and kept cuddling her for the rest of the evening. I just let her enjoy the fluffy and soft feeling of hugging Buneary.
A bit after 10 p.m, I decided that it was time to go up, so after plucking Buneary from mom's arms, causing her to look after/at Buneary, I wished both mom and dad goodnight before I went upstairs to my room.
Once I was inside my room, I locked the door and went inside Utopia with Buneary still in my arms. She cried out in surprise when we suddenly appeared in another room. Utopia immediately began doing its thing, and I started explaining to Buneary where we were, as well as what was happening to her right now.
I was already used to Utopia finishing its process before I was done with my explanation, so I used my second thought stream to check her new status while I kept talking.

Hmm, Buneary was only 3 and a half years old, so she belonged to the youngster group even in our little family. Well, I did not doubt that she would fit right in with the new batch, especially since all of them were nice and sweet Pokemon, on top of them being close in age.
Buneary's potential had risen straight to purple after Utopia's boost, and unless something major came up, it looked like she was another shoo-in for Light Aurora potential by the time she reached the silver stage.
I was curious what her third ability would be at that point since Klutz was gone, but the most likely case was Cute Charm making it back on her ability list after being replaced by Scrappy once she evolved to Aura-Variant Lopunny. Still, that was only an assumption, so it was possible that she would gain a completely different ability.
The unlocking of her talent had been a success, but I stopped the awakening since I wanted to wait until she evolved before letting her talent awaken, in hopes of her gaining a talent more fitting to her new Aura-Variant Lopunny form.
Her parameters were solidly in the (high) iron stage, and her Agility, as well as Strength values, were definitely a pleasant surprise. I was quite sure that I would have her start her limit breaking in less than half a year.
Moving on, the type reaction/relation section for pure normal types was always "interesting" to see, with a single immunity along with a lone minor weakness.
Regardless of the current scarcity of types on either list, I would have Buneary work on her resistance to the fighting type once our bond got upgraded to a genuine one, and she began her limit-breaking training. I was hoping her aura affinity would help her in that regard.
Speaking of that, thanks to her aura affinity Buneary gained aura manipulation, most likely after she learned Aura Sphere. Both were only at novice mastery right now, but it was still a good start.
The rest of her moves were decent as well, and she even had an egg move that she trained up to proficiency. Power-Up Punch was a good move, so she had gotten lucky with her egg move.
Well, I could guarantee that Buneary would become a powerhouse as long as she did not slack off, but I had no such problem with any of my Pokemon so far, so I had no reason to expect the worst.
It took me a few more minutes to go through everything I had/wanted to tell Buneary, so I was long done checking her status by the time I finished my explanation. Seeing the awe on Buneary's face I knew I had sufficiently impressed her, but with the wonder that was Utopia, that was no real surprise.
Her reaction also told me that she got the gist of my explanation, which was good since she had yet to reach full sapience. She was on the cusp of it, but still missing the last step.
Nonetheless, I was sure that she would reach that point within a few months, at least now that she had joined me. Thankfully, her current situation was enough to understand most if not all my explanation. I would have had to postpone the explanation if that had not been the case, but it worked out just fine.
Anyway, once I was done with my speech, I led her to her new habitat, which I squeezed beside the habitat of the Eevee Squad. I did not call the others over since I decided to hold her welcoming party tomorrow instead due to it already being past 10:30 p.m.
I accompanied Buneary to her new dwelling and wished her a good night before leaving Utopia altogether. Afterward, I directly went to bed since I was planning to wake up early to stock up on everyone's food.
So it was at 4:30 a.m, Dialday morning before the sun began brightening the day, that I woke up and entered Utopia. I went to the kitchen and started preparing the ingredient before I began cooking large amounts of all three meals for Mothra/Butterfree, followed by the meals for Optimus/Butterfree.
While I was cooking, I also thought about what I was going to do today since I had no plans to go out. I began to entertain the idea of creating sculptures for the newbies.
The Eevee Squad already had gotten theirs, but none of the others that had joined me after our return to Rota had received their sculpture yet. Still, while that was actually a pretty good idea that I was sure the others would love, I decided to wait until Grouday for that endeavor.
I would be visiting the Pancham habitat tomorrow, so it would be better if I crafted the sculptures/statues after the new Pancham had joined. I would also have to make another statue for those that had evolved since their old ones were no longer up to date.
Since the sculpting idea was postponed, I decided that I would be playing my ocarina instead. I was planning to see if I could match the tune with my aura to amplify the emotion /sentiment caused by my songs. I was hoping that would help me/allow me to buff my Pokemon with my ocarina.
Theoretically, if I got it to work, I should also be able to debuff others through my tunes, but I was going to focus on buffing them first. I knew some people could do these things just through the greatness of their music, but I was a long way from reaching that point, so this was my idea to emulate that effect.
I began cleaning up the kitchen at 8:45 a.m, and by that time, I had managed to cook a good bit of food for Mothra, Optimus, Parvati/Beedrill, Prime/Beedrill, Horus/Xatu, and Hera/Pidgeot. Before I left Utopia, I made sure to hand out everyone's breakfast.
Afterward, I made myself presentable since cooking was a demanding job especially when one was doing it for nearly 4.5 hours. After a quick shower and a change of fresh clothes, I went downstairs, actually coming face to face with my mom at the bottom of the stairs. She said that she had been about to call me down for breakfast.
We joined dad at the table and began to talk about our plans for the day. Mom was going to do some cleaning and then train her Pokemon before relaxing for the rest of the day, or rather until it was time for her to prepare dinner.
Meanwhile, dad was going on another trip back to Kanto, specifically to Hope Town, and he would only be back around dinner time. I told them my plans as well, and mom was happy that she would get to listen to me play the ocarina. Dad was a bit sad that he would miss it, but I told him that he could always listen to it the next time.
After breakfast, dad left for milk, I meant Kanto, and mom began cleaning up the table. I naturally helped her before I went back to my room and entered Utopia for Buneary's welcoming party.
I made my way to her habitat and brought her back to my area before I called everyone over. I introduced them to Buneary as they appeared and after everyone had gotten to greet her, I declared the start of the party by pulling out the tables, snacks, and drinks.
We did take our traditional photos and they joined our photo album. I let the party go on until 1 p.m before I declared it over. They were a bit sad that the party was over, but they perked right up when I told them that I was going to play the ocarina after lunch, which I promptly began handing out.
The snacks they had eaten were not enough to substitute a hearty lunch after all. While everyone was busy eating, I left Utopia and went downstairs. There I saw mom putting away the cleaning tools and she told me that she was done cleaning before she went upstairs to freshen up since cleaning was exhausting no matter what others said.
I made my way to the terrace and went to the middle of our lawn before I pulled out a blanket. I made myself comfortable on the blanket and took out my ocarina before doing a few test puffs.
I took a look inside Utopia and saw that everyone was still busy eating, so I began playing a few practice tunes while waiting for them to finish. Roughly 10 minutes later I rechecked Utopia and saw that they were done, so I began calling them out.
I stopped after calling out all the main members since the available space was pretty much occupied. Well, there was still some free space, but that was too far away, so I did not bother calling out the rest. Due to their size Stan/Gyarados and the other members of the Sinister Six along with Tiamat/Milotic, and Abzu/Milotic, were the ones assigned to the outermost circle.
After everyone had found a comfortable position I began playing the ocarina and everyone was happily listening to the tune. I did not try to add any aura for now and simply played two songs first.
Mom joined us after the second tune, and she stayed until I finished the fifth tune before she left, presumably for the training session she mentioned during breakfast.
I took a break after finishing the 12th tune to eat some sandwiches for lunch, before resuming my performance. However, this time I tried mixing in my aura while playing the tune. Since I was currently playing an upbeat song, I used my aura to radiate happiness.
Still, that was simply "dual casting" instead of integrating my aura into the tune, so I tried to infuse my aura into my breath while attempting to imbue happiness into my aura at the same time.
I kept trying to do that throughout the rest of the day, but I only achieved marginal success. I had no problem playing the ocarina while using aura, but the integration of the two was still out of my reach beside the occasional moment that worked.
Mom and dad both managed to catch the last few tunes before I stopped playing because it was time for dinner. I did not bother recalling everyone and simply began handing out their dinner instead.
While I was doing that mom was setting the table on the terrace so that we could eat our dinner outside together with the other. It was a joyful dinner and I only began recalling everyone after they were all done eating.
